- Prince Harry reveals to BBC News how he asked the Queen to get involved in the Invictus Games video after being challenged by the Obamas. He also told Andrew Marr about how his experiences while serving in Afghanistan - and the injuries that he witnessed fellow soldiers endure - were a "turning point" in his life.
But he played down comparisons between his charity and campaigning work and that of his late mother, Princess Diana.
He also spoke about the intrusion into his private life is "incessant". "Everyone has a right to privacy...Sadly, that line between public and private life is almost non-existent any
more."

It all seemed aimed at what HE had acheived in setting up the games and not about giving thanks to the soldiers themselves. Yes you can say the games are giving thanks but I'm talking about the way he was shouting invictus! after every sentence. Like it was the reason they all get up in the morning. Found it very self cantered.
I know he had really bad depression and ptsd when he got back from his tours, I haven't seen the interview you are talking about, but I do know that people in the position he is in have media people that write all their speeches. I am glad you have your opinion, Rolf Harris is a disgusting person and deserved more than he got. The part at 02:25 made me weep. Maybe it's just because as a former soldier I understand his feelings of leaving his team behind, but I think the mental image of him having those feeling amidst 3 British soldiers in induced comas on the helicopter was gut wrenching. God bless them all.

Prince Harry has natural speaking skills. You can't teach people that, some people are born with it. If he were not a royal he would still be the kind of person who could be a journalist or politician or something. You could easily see him with training commentating on sports or being a radio host. The royal family doesn't need to have people like that in its ranks, but it's very lucky when one comes along. He is by far the best and most natural communicator in the royal family, probably the best in the ~100 years since film and sound recording were available.

It certainly is not an easy task, to draw the line as a member of the Royal Family. Prince Harry says it so eloquently, what role he is in, and what he has to expect. It seems to me he really understands, he will be hunted & criticized relentlessly. I guess it is a price you pay when you are the grandson of Elisabeth, Queen of England. The way I see him, is a kind and caring and adaptable individual, and someone with an intuition beyond.

He is. Please don't be angry: as a few have, I do not understand why he married Meghan. I do not agree with the clothing being so revealing. Unfortunately, I expected him to marry a virgin, like his dad and brother. In my view; she laughs at certain times, that to me are not funny, that appear as mocking to him. In some videos, she is laughing, and the guys around them are looking at her or him, and they are being serious therefore, to the eye, creating the look as if she is mocking him. Like, the 1st vid. After the wedd-- where the wasp was at his ear, she is laughing. That was not funny, what if it had stung, the pain he would have been in. And, that was a serious moment. I know she is gorgeous, but I am scared she is going to cause something very bad to happen, to one of them, maybe even Duke of Sussex.

There are many points to raise, but the main one being is that Harry is now 6th in line to the throne and therefore will not be King, giving him more freedom in his choices in life (although still limited in comparrison to you and I) . WIlliam (2nd in line and definatley the future King) on the otherhand would of never been allowed to marry Megan due to being divorsed & American. I cannot confirm if the future queen would need to be a virgin these days, but wouldn't be surprised if it was still a requirement.
I myself do not believe that Megans ataire is any more revelaving than some of Dianas outfits and personally do not believe that as a princess in the UK, Megan shows too much flesh. I wasn't initially a fan of Megan joining the Royal Family, but she has done herself proud. She obviously adores Harry and has taken to the very difficult role with ease (which would be hard for an American, not gowing up with the Royal Family & fully understanding their role within the UK & abroad).
I'm a royalist but they can appear quite sombre and reserved, but Harry and Megan are different (& allowed to be) which is exactly the kind of ambasadors the Royal Family need to ensure their legacy to continue as a monarch when the Queen and Prince Charles pass away. Yes he just about caught that one, but unfortunately it was quite a telling slip of the tongue because in some quarters of ‘The British Forces’ this is an endemic mind-set. Yes P. Harry quickly corrected himself, but in my experience others are not so diplomatic.
I think seeing the term (English vs British) as interchangeable is understandable and forgivable only if you are not a British citizen. However if you are Scottish, Irish or Welsh i.e. British, and have served in the British Army and risked your life, then that ‘slip of the tongue’ is very insulting, and Prince Harry -being British - should bloody well know better!!!!
The Brits haven't been so lucky with their prime ministers, but they sure have been lucky with their royal family. They're all great people, and I think that apart from Diana, this is a testament to the queen. She's an incredible head of the family and state.

I have a son just a couple of years younger than Prince Harry. As a mother, I wish I could reassure him that his mother indeed, would be bursting with pride at the man her son grew into. By no means does this mean his job is done - Keep Calm, and Carry On Prince Harry ❤️ And as a quick note on the trials of public vs private life, I whole-heartedly agree with his views. We should be happy enough to see him and his family doing their good works, we don't need to watch which leg goes first into his drawers; as long as they're on. 😜

I enjoy immensely listening to Prince Harry speaking and learning about his way and attitude. I really honour him. Subject to criticism and ridicule and opinion, yet he is out there living a life and contributing. I feel he is an amazing soul, and I think he is a good character.
After listening to this video I have the greatest respect for a Harry not to mention he served his Country twice. think it’s sad he had his military titles taken from him in recent events.
