Dubs mismanaged the situation. Klay was eventually going to have to come off the bench but sitting him behind a rookie last season just added to his frustration of coming back from 2 devastating injuries. He'll be fine in Dallas and so will the Dubs but it didn't have to end like this
No beef he just wanted to play somewhere else.
Klay got paid max money after getting hurt for 2 yrs.While rehabbing for 2 yrs he got paid like 40 million a yr.Not to mention tearing achilles in a pick up game.Warriors coulda sued him but didnt for playing with friends.Now hes not the same player and thinks hes a max money player still but isnt nowhere near what he was.So he took less money to go somewhere else which is stupid

Warriors kept him when he was out, then he came back played like the monstar stole his skills, curry let him keep his 3pt record because of brotherly love. But at the end of the day, it's just business.

I feel like no one says this enough Klay was wrong for demanding that much from a front office that paid him the max while he was out injured... Especially when he saw that they were paying a lot of luxury tax trying to keep them together and knowing he wasn't the same player he once was... It's a business at the end of the day

I think he did Steph dirty.. Steph played for 3 years without him. I don’t think Klay is the same player. Dude literally had 0 points in his last game… He may not even be good enough to be the 3rd option on the Mavs.. I also am a non biased Grizzlies fan 😂
2 for $48 Mil was already an overly generous offer for the player he is today. sad to say given the player he once was but by the end he was a locker room cancer who more often than not played for himself rather than the team. To make matters worse no one amongst the core of Steph, Dray or Kerr and some of his longstanding assistants had the heart or balls to tell Klay the truth. The team deserves as much blame as Klay for not getting ahead of his injuries and focusing on adjusting his game and his role on the team all the way back when he was in rehab. Far too much ego involved all around and complacency on the part of the team.
On the court I think the team will be better for him leaving tbh. I do feel sorry for Klay though despite it all. He clearly suffered mentally perhaps more than physically with the injuries and has never been the same guy since. I hope he succeeds in Dallas but I suspect the adjustment is going to be rough for him and them.
At least he can heal 💯 so that way he is ready to jump in. Also good idea to Check on Klay something the Warriors lack.

The closest looking duo drama I can think of is like it's splitting up MJ and pippen. You know klay loved san fran because he bought a pimpin ass boat. Now klay's going to a land locked city.
I remember couple years ago I read an article about Kyrie similar to everything you just( leg injury , his old , locker room cancer he should of did this n that etc ) and too see Kyrie prove everyone wrong is a beautiful sight too see

The greatest fans of all time are the dynasty Warriors fans because we got to see the best basketball ever played outside of Michael Jordan Wilt Chamberlain. Well, I was a Kobe fan until 2016, when he retired, but I’m from the northern California area and I started becoming a fan of the Warriors during their 2015 season and because Kobe retired in 2016, I was totally on board with the Warriors. I remember watching Kobe and the Lakers play the Robert Horry Was swatted the ball and he hit the three-pointer at the buzzer and the Lakers won. I remember hearing about Michael Jordan when I was a little kid and how Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player of all time, and I remember Michael Jordan I think he was wearing 45 at the time was playing basketball and I couldn’t figure out which one he was, but I remember hearing the announcer say Michael Jordan airball. And I thought oh that’s Michael Jordan. I realize because I was so young that I wasn’t going to be able to watch Michael Jordan play basketball because I was a Christian and we didn’t own a TV so I heard Kobe Bryant was going to be the next Michael Jordan. I immediately became a fan of Kobe Bryant as the next Michael Jordan, but I didn’t really pay attention his fourth and fifth championships. But I was always thinking to myself. How is he going to eclipse Michael Jordan? How is he going to become much better than Michael Jordan all the way up until a week before he died I was thinking that, and then when he died in the helicopter crash, believe it because the only other NBA star that had died at the time was Wilt Chamberlain and so I couldn’t understand or believe that Kobe Bryant would die in such a horrific way
After winning 5-6 championships and realizing there really is no fulfillment after winning a championship I think his body and mind gave up or betrayed him. I’m seeing this in Steph’s performance also. Cause they’ve already reached the maximum, the only way from top is to the bottom.

If they all wanted to be together they should understand the business. Curry, Green and Thompson should’ve talk to Bob Myers how they can stay together which contracts will work. Instead they all acted like they were on an island wantig the maximum salary possible. Of course you can do that but don’t act like a child when no money is left for you. I bet the Spurs commucated those issues way better when Duncan, Parker and Ginobili where on big contracts.
Scottie Pippen lost a child around the time when the last dance came out so i understand what he’s going through Klay though is just an ungrateful person the warriors did literally nothing to him except make him a star and he won 4 rings with them but he acts like they tormented him and treated him terrible he’s just making excuses up for why he sucks now

owed what? klay wasn’t nearly as important as steph or even draymond. he had his first big extension after he got injured. after a year of rehab, he tore his achilles, sidelining him for another year. he came back was inconsistent as hell. he had a string of good games before the 2022 playoffs started, but then proceeded to play poorly for most of the postseason. 2022-23 was an okay season for him offensively but subpar for his star years. he clearly regressed defensively too. in 2024, he was given an extension to match steph’s timeline, which was what they gave draymond. he declined and decided to bet on himself, then proceeded to have a disastrous season. dude was taking shots that he had no business taking while being a poor defender. anyone who thinks he deserved a max was and still is delusional.
