Hi Rickie, it looks like a fun bike to ride. Thanks for the first impressions video.

Enjoyed the two videos I just watched, this one and the 50,000 Roadmaster review. I have been toying with the possibility of trading in my '09 Ultra Classic for an Indian. I've enjoyed it for 15 years and 65000 miles but soon to turn 77 and think it might be time to try something else before I need to hang up my helmets for good. My 6 or 7 friends/acquaintances ride Harleys and, sadly, distain all other brands. For example I like the Roadmaster look but my friends love to make fun of the retro style especially that front fender that covers the calipers. I like the old school retro look, they despise it. So, I don't know if I have the balls to suffer their ridicule for a few of my last few years on a bike. I like lots of things about the challengers and Pursuits as well but concerned about the numerous complaints I have read about the substantial and uncomfortable heat coming off that water cooled engine. I took the lower fairings off my Ultra years ago and it made a huge difference in reducing the engine heat. That make me wonder if a Challenger without the lower fairings would reduce the heat problem. What do you think? Thanks. PS: I like your music choices too.

The Challenger will be my next bike, but keep an eye out for a new model with that engine and a handlebar mounted fairing.

time for a Pursuit!!! I don't like big group rides, for the reason you mentioned.

A Pursuit sounds good to me too.

We did have a rider safety meeting before you showed up. It was mentioned that breaking the law was discouraged, and stopping at the stop sign was following directions. That part was more the leaders fault for not waiting for the car, although it would have taken an extra minute or two. It didn't arrive at the sign until half the group had passed. It worked out well, the car was filtered out at the next turn. Next time I'll wait!
