So I'm not sure how accurate this video is since you have a classic style fairing and the two bikes in the showroom have the newer fairing. But still interesting. I'd love to get the reduced reach bars for my Chieftain Dark Horse, but they're not making them in black anymore. :(
If you have the newer style fairing, you should have similar handlebars, but as you said, they aren't making the reduced reach bars any more. I had to call around to find mine.
They are Indian reduced reach bars. You will have to search around to find them though. They are no longer provided by Indian. I was going to install them to show how easy it is to install them, but I ran out of time to mess around with that, so I had them installed.
@@rickiekm I appreciate you video, we have a 2017 and I followed your video and added an additional aux input in the front. For me that is a big deal, I do not wrench at all Thank you and keep posting.
I picked 1 of these up. Worked so well I got another one to use in my truck for long trips. It works better than a Mustang seat at 1/7th the price.
I wish I saw that seat pad a few weeks ago....my butt is still hurting from that trip.
I put reduced reach bars on both my Roadmasters. Very happy with them.
I had to hunt around for mine as they are no longer available from Indian.
@@rickiekm wow I didn't know that. I had them installed before I even took delivery of my 2020 RM
Nice video.
Nice bike
Considering renting one - seems like a pretty solid standin for a Road Glide.
Cool video! Thanks for sharing.
Great video rick

@@rickiekm They have them in chrome.. but I have a DH so black is my preference. I may end up getting the chrome bars and having them powder coated.
Where did you got those small wings on your second cylinder ?
Kuryakyn
@@rickiekm and are really practical ?
Thank you for sharing this video, what is the brand of the reduce reach bars and did you install them yourself.

Your bike look amazing having done 50k, what do you use to clean the white walls?
Thanks. I use Mr Clean magic erasers and Maguires bleach.
Rickie, what bars did you go to? I've considered doing the same but I'm not sure I want the KST bars. Thanks in advance
They are the Indian reduced reach bars.
Unfortunately the Indian page says those won't fit the 2016. I guess I'll have to do some more research about this.
