My favorite new RC smart charger! Hobbymate D6 Dual Lite review

- Are you in the market for a new RC charger? The Hobbymate D6 Dual Lite smart charger has some really nice design elements, can charge two batteries at once, is compact, has a lot of safety features, can also do servo testing, and has some pretty nice charging specs. It's now my go-to charger for all my lipo batteries.
In this video, I’ll go over all the features and show you some of the basic functions. Thanks to HobbycoolRC for providing the product for review. Thoughts are my own.

Thank you for the review. I've been in the hobby since about 1995 and haven't really kept up on the new tech. I've been rocking an onyx 245 for a long time. Always wished it had a storage charge option for lipo. Keep rocking.

So with safety in mind, the seriousness of lipo battery fires, explosion, etc. Does not seem to be an easy way to use a lipo battery charge bag... Something to keep in mind. As always love the channel, reviews and just a female hobbyist!! Rock on girl!
Is this better than the Charger, EZ-Peak® Live, 100W, NiMH/LiPo with iD® Auto Battery Identification from Traxxas? Just getting into RC and appreciate the videos you make for us.

Since I'm getting into using more and different batteries, this would be handy! Get some extra money, I'll have to check this out.
Maybe you can help me out, I looked on the website details, and the AC specs look like the ac power supply ONly provides 240w total for both channels. Is that right? Seems like a huge drop from the 300w for each channel with 22v DC power. I am on the fence with ordering this charger since the Specs show the AC Power supply is severely Under Rated.....Thanks

Damn Rc Girl, i only had the t240 for about a month now, and now i want that one... :0)
The t240 duo is still a great charger. Have been using it for a long time, it just has a slower charge current (10A per port vs 15A with this one). Not a huge deal

Charger looks great except for the XT60 ports only, I have no batteries at all with XT60, why would they not just have the inputs for multi leads like every other charger?
Most quality chargers come with an array of adapters. I'm surprised to see one that completely ignores the many adapters used in the hobby.
I'll replace my Skymax B6AC with another just like it. Skymax came loaded with adapters, it's dead quiet, and the power supply is built in. NOT a separate brick.
If you order it from Hobby Mate, will take 50-60 days - get it from Amazon...

Don't leave this thing unattended. After 3 months mine literally caught fire performing a simple .5a storage discharge on two 2s lipos. If I wasn't in the same room when it happened, i'd be homeless right now. heads up.
