The corner boxes are corners. The top 2 retro fit with each other and same goes with the other 2. If you place the paired pieces end to end on each side of your corner, they fit perfectly together, and was designed to be that way. It’s not a half box of a corner and half flat surface. This is why your corner edge looks uneven and not fitting. Should be a smooth transition around the edge.
Well in certain cases I agree. As for this since 90% of the time your either looking from the living room or from the garage, I think it worked out in my favor because not many views from a corner angle due to my layout. But in different cases I do agree. Then again just personal preference. Appreciate the reply.
No sir. You don't need that with the air stone because they aren't as heavy as the real stuff. I seen videos where they put them on the wall over the paint and on new dry wall as well.
Would like to know how to apply this around a large circle, like the one-handle faucet of a garden tub faucet that comes out of the drywall. Unlike electrical boxes, you can't "extend out" the circular surround plate of such a one-handle faucet.
Wil Ferch You may be able to get a hole saw bit and drill a hole in one or in 4 corners or just 2 of them on the ends that meet. I can certainly try this weekend with some scrap pieces.
No doubt that will work.....but the crux of my question is not the round/circular aspect.....but the fact that the round faucet cover plate will be severely recessed ( the airstone is thicker than the faucet surrond). Unlike electrical boxes which can be "extended" out of the wall a bit more....I don't think the stainless steel faucet "Surround" can be extended "out"..... can it ?
Wil Ferch ohh I understand what your saying. I suppose it would depend on the brand faucet you buy. I know the ring around my shower heads are adjustable.
You did a nice job. Wanting to try these in my kitchen. Looks like a nice product.
It is I liked it. Easy to install with he pre-made material

We used loctite construction adhesive. A lot less messy and much quicker.
I would recommend reading the instructions when you install the corner pieces. It looks much nicer when installed as per the manufacturer.

I'm finishing up a fireplace application and the Loctite PL adhesive is the way to go!
TheRealSiberD I appreciate the tip I'll try that next round
Lol it says right on the bucket to not apply thick
Airstone is not suppose to be applied to OSB. Corners are available.
He should’ve primed it and it would be fine
Don’t get me wrong your end result looks great.
Looks good!
Yeah man you live and learn, so thanks because I learned from your mistakes....
Thanks for video, nice tip.I have 18Ft fire place,do i need cement board or mesh wire before installing stone?

So u can apply it on wood
What works best to cut airstone??
The grinder with the diamond blade worked best I believe. Or a tike saw with the same blade.
I thought the corners were pre-made. The photo on HD is misleading
@lbrady-sq8gb yes it is. You can overlap them if you want. I have seen some do that.
That looks so fkn messy.
Just dusty when you cut it. Recommend cut outside definitely. Putting it on the wall isn't bad. I wore rubber gloves. That made cleanup easier for me.
The final result looks nice. I think that's the important part.
@@jaimeluevano149 cutting this is about like sanding sheet rock. At least this can be cut outside to keep the dust out of the house, lol.
Thanks, but you didn't do a very good job. You should hire a Professional next time. Sorry but it looks kinda sloppy.
Super helpful!! Thank you!
