    Bo - Thanks for the HEER tutorial. My son, who is also new to the game, and I both found it insightful. I need more riflemen!

    Thank You very much combo with pioniers is amazing. I run a unit of 10 with 7smg and flamer but I will definietly use a panzerfaust option. Looks like You need to make a rookie list with every faction now ;)

    I have the 222 and the 250/9 Neu. IMO the 250/9 is better due to the errata change that removes it open topped penalty. Same weapons and basically the same cost as the 222. Includes Recce too. Only disadvantage is the slower move speed due to being half tracked, but if played right this can be an advantage because they can push through rough terrain.

    In My Town they don't play a reinforced Platoon.

    I prefer the inexperienced light artillery gun to the medium mortar. 5 points more for an inexperienced light artillery piece is such good value and has the advantage of not being a one shot kill to any enemy snipers. It also opens up the mule and horse team as super cheap towing options for a nice extra order dice. If I'm not bringing multiple nebelwerfers then the light artillery is an auto include.

    I have been looking through alot of video’s, but can’t seem to find a list for desert rats, British 8th army. Are they not that good then for competitive play? Starting out in the hobby and trying to put my small amount of hobby money to good use. Love your video’s, thank you for all the hard work

    For just fun I bring out a Goliath team from time to time but would never do it for a tournament due to the high cost of what it is, just 3 soldiers and a one shot guided mine for 60 points regular and 72 veteran, which only can hit on a 5 or 6 and only against buildings and any vehicle that isn't sporting a run or advance dice by it. At least with Soviet dog mines you got 2 and a lot better roll rate for success 4 to 6 or 50% chance. AND Cheaper!!!!!! at 36 points regular and 46 veteran.
    But it is funny watching people sort of not wanting to go anywhere near the 18" bubble of doom with vehicles.

    They are on easyarmy, but due to recent faq cannot be used in there

      @@andrewellerby4420 page 29 "New Units".
      Unless TO says otherwise, unit without "it can be used in selector xx and yy and in generic platoon" they can only be used in those selector where that specific unit is mentioned.
      This applies only on additional unit from campaign books.
      If you check extra unit's profiles in the faq itself they all mention where they can be used. In the book, this extra rule is at the end of the unit flavor (so, above the profile itself) or as a specific row at the end. If it doesn't show up, you can't use that specific unit expect in those selector where is mentioned clearly.
      So, to take the schutzen example, you can only use them in 1942 light infantry selector and stop, because they aren't mentioned elsewhere and the profile itself doesn't allow them outside of that book

      @@17blaziken read the text for the polizei tank where it says it can be used in generic platoons and the anti partisan selector. Now read the New Units section of the Errata & FAQs document. The polizei tank and the LMG team are legal. The unit entry for each unit specifically says they can be used in generic platoons, and the FAQ says that this is fine. Schutzen squads cannot be taken in generic reinforced platoons - this is clear because their unit entry doesn't include any text to state otherwise.

    Nice video! Quick question, why do you use the SdKfz 222? For 5 points more you get the SdKfz231, not open topped and has dual direction steering. Did I miss something? Thanks!

      @boltactiontutorialsbybomor3846  2 роки тому +1

      true, but to be honest neither is particularily good when compared to the British options. The 222 has a good size, but is open topped. the 8 rad is absolutely massive, difficult to hide and turn, but closed topped. both lack hull mmg and have only 7+ armour.... there are better options

    Why take the "MG34 LMG" (from Western Desert) regular @50pts rather than "German LMG team" (from Battle of France) regular @35? Is the latter not allowed for tournaments? (I don't have Battle for France so I cannot refer to the unit description).

    • @17blaziken
      @17blaziken 2 роки тому

      Both cannot be used in generic, and the second is not only a scenario specific unit (so only available in a theater selector for one mission only in the battle of french campaign).
      The best option would be the LMG team from dday us sector: it's always available and it van have flak for 5 pts without getting the fixed rule (so it can still run around but also gun down planes)

    • @cronykil74
      @cronykil74 Рік тому

      @@17blaziken the Battle of France book states that the LMG team can be used in generic platoons. You're thinking of the French school LMG team, which is mission specific. The German LMG team is perfectly legal in generic platoons. The book says that it can be used instead of the MMG team in a generic platoon.
