I here you guys! Unfortunately we are unable to change the colour of the background due to the blue screen editing issues, but we can change the screen to show it slightly lighter so you can see the movements more clearly. These videos are nearly 9 years old so we can only change certain things. We will be uploading the full version on each episode. So we hope you guys enjoy them!

As a one time Wing Chun student, I really appreciate your approach to teaching and your information, if I may be so bold, is spot on!
Needless to say, you know far more than I ever learned and it's great to learn more!
Thank you so much for sharing!

I have to say, I really enjoy the technique, explanation and passion you show to each technique as though they're your "baby."
I've studied marital arts over 30 years and by no means feel I am a master. I enjoy watching and, learning from people are yourself who give freely and with such passion for your style.
    Thank you

Love it!!! MW is truly a WC disciple. MW system is excellent modified WC for modern times, people like him are making WC look attractive. But don't be fooled, you have to put in plenty of hard work into it. No matter what the haters say I love WC it is a great practical art.

i love WC too man ! but i hate when the keyboard warriors come and say bad things about Master Wong , they dont even understand what the Master Wong System is , like u said , its WC for modern times , self defence , i like how Wong deals with reality, its not 100 years ago , i like his system , i'm training for 6 months with his WC lessons , Master Wong is fucking awesome :) big respect that i have for him

main thing is you need to be fast, you can't just block and then block, you need to block and strike and then exit back into defense faster than your opponent throws his second attack, if you don't have exit strategies, like head movement, or back into defense, you're always at a higher risk of getting hit, especially against someone who knows how to punch, he gonna be throwing fast combos to head and body you need to have good movement... another point to add you need to be strong, not big and strong I mean strong for your own body weight. so in close grappling they can't slam you and shit, you can cling onto them good and hold your own weight without a problem.

I love this master his style of teaching is superb and he's funny. I studied Wing Chun Kung Fu under a master in UK many years ago as a teenager to learn self-defence. I can still remember some of the moves and principles watching this brings it back to me.
This to me is the best of all the martial arts and one of the oldest which originates from the Shoalin Monks in ancient China. I first saw it practiced by Bruce Lee and in the American 1970''s TV series 'Kung Fu' (which was originally developed for Bruce Lee who practiced a mixed-style Wing Chun).
Wing Chun is superior and best because it doesn't require you to be big or physically strong to even defeat a much larger and stronger opponent. So it's good for women or those who lack physical prowess or strength. It doesn't require exteme physical fitness, muscular body, high kicks or much flexibility. Anyone can do it, old or young, thin or fat.
Wing Chun is also about a a philosophy and system of balance, harmony of movement, speed and Chi energy power from close contact punch, push, block, kick. Done right, it can look almost efffortless with close quarter fluid minimal movement. Your opponent is pushed off balance, moved and deflected easily to expose attack points (hands, arms, chest, neck, abdomen, groin etc) all easily twisted, pushed away, struck open handed or close first punched.
It's a pretty lethal form of martial art if done right. It can cause serious and even fatal injuries on someone in a matter of seconds with minimum effort if done by a master. But the aim of Wing Chun is usually to use the least amount of force and damage on your opponent to protect yourself and stop an attack. If they persist the attack you use ever greater force to neutralise but avoid doing real damage unless it's a life and death threat.
And another advantage is because it's close combat and doesn't require hardly any effort, you can take on and neutralise several opponents very quickly. Even if they have weapons. Our master when I trained could easily defeat 5 or more attackers coming at him from different angles even with rubber knifes we used.

I appreciate your detailed thoughts on Wing Chun, @paullangton-rogers2390! It’s fascinating how this martial art emphasizes strategy and adaptability, much like the teachings I received from Master Chien. The Knowledge Transfer you mention is vital in mastering any technique-using it to navigate challenges in real life. Just as Wing Chun can neutralize larger opponents, we can all overcome our fears with the right mindset! If you're curious about more of my journey and training, feel free to ask. Your authenticity of Wing Chun is not lacking
And here you very impressively demonstrate the ground base of JKD very well
However I do employ a more lethal strategy at the outset
but it over extends on Wing Chun into boxing
Not a conventional form of boxing
But rather very close chest to chest type of boxing that gets it's force from pivot motions
i also utilize hip momentum in various forms combined in a sense to the upward pivots to generate force
I love this video " Master Wong "

Wait what? Wing chun is incredibly practical on the streets. It runs into problems when you put limitations on it in mma. What may be confusing you is the fact that this isn't actually wing chun. This is some weird deviation of wing chun that defies half the principals. This is nothing like the wing chun you'll learn if you actually go to china. Look up a guy named Wong Shun Leung. That's wing chun right there.
