What is the size of the stepping motor? What is the voltage of the power supply that you give in the kit? Do you need to cut out the front/bottom panel? My machine is a VM210 size machine ... (Holzmann ED400FD)
The encoder senses the spindle rotation from its own belt drive from the spindle, so the specific motor driving the spindle should not matter unless it turns the spindle too fast for the encoder to maintain an accurate position count.
Just bought this and in the process of installing it. First hurdle is my spindle is smaller than what the pulley in the kit is made for, other than that it looks good.
@@91NSXno60 That was made for the 38mm spindle version like I have. You might have to make a custom belt pulley for that. Just make sure it's the same diameter because it is used to drive the encoder. another option would be to upgrade yours to the 38mm spindle if that is possible. So what power source does it use? Does it use independent power or does it get it from the board? I'm wondering if there is a difference between the power boards used on the 220v systems and 120 like they use in the USA? There isn't a lot of information on their website and they don't answer emails. I did recently order a tool holder from them. The shipping takes forever though. At least the shipping was free.
@@cowboy399 Yep, I've made an adapter for the supplied 70 tooth pulley to fit my smaller spindle, but I'll probably upgrade to the 38mm spindle quite soon (have found a kit with new headstock assy). It's all powered via a new (supplied) board.
@@91NSXno60 Do you know if that new board only runs on 220v? They say nothing about this on their website. What voltage/current comes out of it? Are there any specs?
should also show the wiring connection to the main board. you cannot assume upgrader to figure out the wiring connect. its a good product but need proper working instructions.
@@numobams5247 The wiring on my board is slightly different from your image, what should the two green wires that connect to on the motor control board?

Where can be purchased this kit?
Так понял, в обзоре показана замена "шляпы" на электронную гитару👍
Is it important if the lathe itself has brushless or brushed motor? Does this all need to connect to lathes conroller board?

Where i can buy the module? And it working witk all wm210v?
vietnam had sell it
Has anyone applied this upgrade besides the seller? What was your experience?

May I know where to get the pinion gear that attach on the encoder ? how many teeth is it? tks
Dear friend, the gear on the encoder it 35T
