I don't know who invented Axl's presence here.... anyway, this song comes from a "Jesus Christ Album" by one Dave Stewart. He did it in 1973, and it is a selection of songs from the musical sung by him and a female voice. I have this vinyl in my collection.
If Meat Loaf is on this song it could be percussion, because he is actually a talented drum player like he did on "Hot Summers Night - Took the words right out of my mouth" on Bat Out of Hell album. However if Meat Loaf did work on this song I would think he would go with his strength which is his voice. Trust me I am hardcore Meat Loaf fan.
@gaoshanlaoshi @Rosteley @paulinaz87 So maybe you guys made me change my mind... so I'll put a question mark on the title of the video eheheh ...maybe is an hoax but I love this song!!!
THIS IS MIKE D'ABO. I don't care if you believe me...go look it up via a second source and you'll plainly see. This controversy drives me nuts and it seems not one person has posted the right answer. MIKE D'ABO THIS VERSION IS BY MIKE D'ABO BEGINNING, MIDDLE, AND END OF STORY.
I don't know who's the singer, but the bass part...gotta love it! It's the 70's, man!
You can find this song on GNR Ultimate Rarities album so it really is Axl:)
I dont hear Meat Loaf, but it does sound like Axl
Corona brought me here.
Clearly not Axl. Have you ever heard him sing? Also, why would he even sing a song like that?
I like Alice Coopers version better!
Who sings? I have this song in a broadway cd but it doesnt say and id like to get the whole cd
Nah not him. Axl would have been better singing Jesus songs anyway. Imagine him singing Gethsemane?
Uh, no.... Alice Cooper covered this song once. This isn't his version.
@Rhstoned you are deaf, i can hear it, however they have a similar voices
