For example total plot area is 3200 sq. ft. And assume that FSI is 1.5. So how do you determine how many floors a builder can build basis these details?
Additional info is required for an accurate answer. What is the setback, height restrictions, ground coverage norms and parking space mandated by the government. But generally you can think of 3 floors of 1600 sq ft.

Hi Rakesh. You can build high rise buildings even if you have an FSI of 3 or 4, if you leave more open spaces for Parks, Parking etc. in the plot. So total built up area with respect to Plot Area will comply with FSI norms. Hope it is clear.
Asset Yogi sir does it possible..coz i think its not possible to build a buildings of 60+ storey buildings with those fsi..coz every plot are not big in mumbai city..so i have seen some projects where actually there are less open space but towers are tall..so how could dat possible..

you can use 50% of total area and build 3 floors on it.(1600sq ft each)
