Sorry I'm just now getting back to you! The Elk box is great if you have to have players in more than one location, but it doesn't actually handle the streaming to the internet (like youtube or twitch). So if all you are trying to do is stream out from a single location, this isn't how you would do that. If you're playing together remotely though, it's great! If you're playing remotely AND want to broadcast that on a live stream, I would check the technical specifications on their website, and make sure you're pretty well inside of them, as we're closer to the edge of what they recommend, and it works perfectly for us to practice and write remotely, it wouldn't be stable enough for use to use for a performance.
I'm in a heavy stoner rock trio. We want to use this to broadcast audio and video online, to promote a Kickstarter. Would you recommend these units?
