WHY USE MUSIC?
Well, that's down to some clips that are sent in which are totally silent and some clips have music playing on them. UA-cam's policies on music copyright say I can't use copyrighted music, which is why I use royalty-free tracks to promote upcoming artists.

Hope everybody who caught people on the phone from there dash cam give it to the police . As there are way way to many drivers on the road in this country who can't keep off there phone . Also it will reduce a lot of accidents too.
The channel is all about education and entertainment, so I don’t personally report anyone you may have seen in my clips.

Then you would be held responsible for the crash. You can only claim that excuse if hitting the animal could cause a bigger crash. You'd have to claim it was a cow or deer or something. Also, the fact that you would actively cause a crash just because you don't agree with what someone is doing is greatly disturbing. It's not your job to police the roads.
That is NOT strictly true ……
If someone runs into the back of you, it is considered to legally be ALWAYS their fault.
The general rule is that, if you are driving a vehicle and run into the back of someone else, it will be YOUR fault and you will not be able to make a claim against anyone else.
This is generally considered that because the driver of the rear vehicle has a legal duty to maintain a safe following distance and to be able to stop safely in case the vehicle in front of them brakes or slows down.
Ergo, it doesn’t normally matter if the knob in front of you “brake checks” you or not, if YOU CANNOT STOP to avoid an accident, then it IS YOUR FAULT!

Was the bus lane in operation when DCD recorded their clip? The Calder Road in Edinburgh is notorious for people not making use of both lanes when the bus lanes aren't operating.
I came here to say this.
No time stamp on camera, but with zero queue at the A71/A720 interchange suggests not rush hour, so the bus lane is not operating!
Indeed it was before the 7.30am cut off. And your right, Edinburgh drivers love to drive in the bus lanes when they can't, and don't when they can lol.
Its a bus lane but it is only rush hour. I will guess by the traffic its not rush hour)

As many of the submitted clips either have the radio playing in the background or are actually silent, then the choices are royalty free music for those 3 minutes of the video or total silence…….. 🤔
Given that I have already asked MULTIPLE times on the channel if the audience would prefer royalty free music or silence, then I’m not going to go down this road again!
Sorry, but I will continue to use the royalty free music as that is what the majority voted for!🗳️ 🎵

I think the slient clips are already copyright strike clips got muted by UA-cam on their channel and they can't figure out how to unmute it and Gadget you can't figure it out there are so many royalty free music artists on here and you and other channels promot them very well but the people who send you clips don't understand us the loyal fans want to hear the audio
