@@rocknrye9273 I'd have to say that they're all extremely dangerous. I'd have to say any off-road racing is the most dangerous though. anything can happen out there in the desert. especially when you're racing the Baja 1000. Most racers don't even finish.
@@Dino-kr7nd It's called counter steer you mug. Bend went to the right so you have to steer the other way as the car's back end starts to step out to prevent oversteeer and spinouts. He just messed it up and went too far.
@@Dino-kr7nd he did counter-steer going around the bend to get traction back but he went a little too fast into the corner which made him overshoot into the tree. It's not faked lmao he just made a mistake.

I am a fairly confident sim racer, rally specific, however this was the first stage I attempted on dirt rally 2.0 in the grasp of a VW Polo R5.... let’s say I was a little lost for words after I’d plunged myself into a tree at 130mph....😂🤦🏻♂️
I have also done the same quite often except it was at Pike's Peak Hill Climb track in Assetto Corsa with the Toyota Celica ST185 rally car (mostly just really pushing the car to it's extreme limits because it does so well on that surface).
I am new to dirt rally 2.0 (quite literally less than a week ) I have to say this has quickly become one of my favorite racing games. Love your channel.

They should let us leave a grave with a message for the other players, like in dark souls, that tree must have taken so many beautiful stage times lol
There were so many insane, fully sideways close-calls... It was just a matter of time... Funnily enough, it happened to be the very last of nearly 492 seconds.
4 years later I’m still playing this game and this f*ng stage is killing me. Actually what would have been more dramatic than Jimmy’s DNF is something that happened to me a lot on this stage: 1) Terminal damage by crashing INTO this Finishing Cube 🤣 2) Sliding into the finishing cube so you get broken wheel(s). So either you jump into the next one with broken wheels either you have to restart the stage 🤦🏾♂️😓
This video reminded me of when you take a kid bowling and they use the guide rails so they can’t get a gutter ball. Jimmy just slapping the side left and right then finally still bins it on the literal last tree

I have to say im loving the hell out of Dirt rally 2.0 since they added the Wales dlc. Wales kind of shows off just how great the physics really are in DR2. The R5 cars handle really great at Wales, and on the Polish stages too. I just wish we could have the Polo R WRC and the Fiesta RS WRC from the original game.
That car on that stage looks goddamn intense!! No wonder they banned group B and respect to you Jimmy for managing to not completely smash it to bits on a tree! Well, until pretty much the end of the stage anyway😂
I got this game and a Wheel yesterday. Was up all night trying to master this track. OMG it’s hard!! Got from crashing every single corner to finishing the track in 10.23min. It’s maybe not the best time, but feels nice to have survived a track for my first time!
Smashed it as always Jimmer, that was terrifying to watch 😱 - take as long as you need between content man, your health is the most important thing - we can wait 👍

When i first witnessed this video almost a year ago, i had JUST bought myself a beginners set of wheel, pedals, shifter and handbrake. I never believed i'd make it to group B much less through H1-H3 Yet here i am, working my way through Group B RWD, and i cry as i go through knowing that the speed alone makes my hands shake, my ears ring, my heart and breathing stop Jimmy Broadbent you've made someone try, you made ME try, and i will keep trying, and maybe even reach that glorious peak of becoming an ACTUAL rally driver instead of just Dirt Rally 2.0

I'd love to see Jimmy doing this as an absolute tryhard. No talkin just sheer replay. And I know him commentating iswhat he's known for but I feel it hurts performance for the sake of entertainment. Jimmy is an excellent driver and again I'd love to see truly how good he is.
Hi jimmy, you said you’ve been feeling a bit burnt out lately, what about some sim racing tips/tutorial vids? Different techniques or track run throughs things like that, I personally would love to see something like that from yourself. Keep at it dude 👍
I play this stage a lot and ironically the best advice I can say is keep it pinned. Trying to balance the car with the brake messes with the straight line stability of the car before/after corners and wants it to rotate when you dont want it to. Using the brake IN the corner to keep it sideways and on throttle is the way, for me with my cars setup anyway.
I enjoyed this video every bit as much as you did. I'm also having a lot of fun racing against your ghosts. I even managed to beat one by a few seconds. :)
