      As being a resident for nearly 25 years in this lovely city, this is pretty accurate regarding the geographical location as well. If you get bored of your European life, with one finger snap you're in Middle East, or even in Asia with another click.

    Welcome to Turkey.Its nice vlog about Turkish breakfast. Our breakfast is the best all over the world. If you go to different area in Turkey, you can find different breakfast type. Its so valuable for us :) If you come to Blacksea you should visit Highlands, mountains. You should drink tea and eat hazelnut because Blacksea is the capital of hazelnut and blacktea :)
    Have a nice trip. Greetings from Blacksea region,Turkey :)

      sovstte hello, I am a Turkish food engineer. 🙋🏻‍♀️ this glasses have special shape to keep tea warm. Their surface are large enough to cool the first sip. The middle and bottom are small to prevent heat loss. Temperature is an important parameter that effects taste. So these glasses are specially designed to optimize temperature (40-45 C) and to make tea taste the same with every sip. 😊 (sorry for my bad English 😅)

    Love it that you went for the less well known Asian side of the city. That breakfast looked epic and the tea (I'm a tea nut!) looked such an awesome colour. I'm really looking forward to these Turkey vlogs. It's a fascinating and transitional part of the world where West blends into East. I love these "transitional" areas - North East India and the northern part of West Bengal are also examples of this, where India starts to blend into Eastern Asia.

    • @DanegerAndStacey
      @DanegerAndStacey  5 років тому +2

      Definitely agree, we're really enjoying the mashup you get from the transcontinental vibe! You'd be all over the tea here, it's insane how much they drink. Our guide told us they sometimes have 10 cups a day haha

    Can I just say how much I have enjoyed watching your travel blogs. You are both very respectful of the culture, unlike some of the other obnoxious travellers who sneer and laugh at some of the local customs. I love that Stacey is fully involved with the vlogging. I’ve seen female travel partners being used as almost a backdrop or a prop which I find quite offensive as a female! Off to Turkey soon and definitely visiting Kadikoy now

    I lived in Kadikoy for 4 years. You guys walked by my old flat! Also, you were near Barlar Sokak where me and my mates would carrous each weekend. Also, you walked by a place called Innana which is where my old gf and I would meet. Just across is Kaveranghi which is a great spot to watch Fenerbahce football... For off the beaten path sites, try Rumeli Hisari up the bosphorus on the European side, Also, be sure to check out Balat where the bosphorus and golden horn connect. Amazing neighborhood. Just a little further into Balat is Chrimea Church and the old city walls. Enjoy.

    Beautiful area of the bosphorus area, looking forward to the vids. Are you heading to the grand bazarr exploring? I would definitely hit a few museums and the food is the best, the ottoman cuisine is unbelievable, especially the ones that you join in or "complete" a party with strangers to fill a "table" which traditionally a Persian carpet on the floor(sometimes formal), and they bring out course after course of some of the most exquisite dishes ever seen, and kebobs with cheese fondues (my favorite since a child) for dipping all while meeting new ppl if they speak English of course. Hope you guys have a blast! Hi fome Sha from Va! 🙏

    The red spread i believe in Bulgaria we call it Lyutenitsa :) Tomatoes, peppers, a lot of spices...

    • @orhandincer2887
      @orhandincer2887 5 років тому +1

      I have tested lyutenitsa but I don't think the red spread is like lyutenitsa because I haven't seen anything like it in Turkey yet. I guess it is "acuka" . My personal opinion lyutenitsa is best.
