    Thanks so much for doing a video on these new Khov offerings. I recently asked Tiffany about these. I’m hoping to see even more new models coming up from all builders. Thanks Shawn.

    $555,000 for a 1416 sq ft is a good price? You have to be kidding!

    Did I calculate the smaller home correctly, $400.00 a s.f? Wow!

    i really like your videos . i live near Verrado, any 55plus new builds closer to Central Phoenix?

    • @Southwest55Plus
      @Southwest55Plus  23 дні тому +1

      Thanks for your compliment! Not many options close in to Phoenix. 55+ communities generally need to build on less expensive land to keep the prices low for us. But we might have some options coming soon. Stay tuned...

    Homes may be affordable BUT the HOA is unbelievable unreasonable

    • @Southwest55Plus
      @Southwest55Plus  2 місяці тому

      Thousands of residents in Victory at Verrado would disagree with you on your idea of unreasonable. They have exclusive amenities to include private pools, clubhouse, spa, activity center. There are many social clubs to join plus a large pickleball club. All 55+ communities will be in this range and many are higher. Probably not your place but thanks for watching.

    Unfortunately, builders cannot sell these new builds, and throwing them up with poor construction. And, it’s a struggle to get them back to fix the problems.

    • @Southwest55Plus
      @Southwest55Plus  2 місяці тому

      Not true at all. They sell very well. Not sure what poor construction you are referencing but our experience with this builder has been a very good one.

    Problem...you have a high hoa's fees with this area. Victory's and Verrado.

      @Southwest55Plus  2 місяці тому

      Not true at all. Right now the total fee is just $240. That includes access to all amenities. It’s very reasonable!

    The last thing I need, or the country needs for that matter, is another layer of dictatorial government telling me how to live my life. NEVER AN HOA NEIGHBORHOOD

    • @Southwest55Plus
      @Southwest55Plus  2 місяці тому

      HOA is not the Government. People live there by choice. I love my HOA neighborhood. It doesn't sound like you would enjoy it. Aren't you glad we all have choices? Thanks so much for watching my channel!!

    There is way too much money in this kitchen, half the cabinets are totally out of reach. No older person should have to climb on a stool to reach them.
    Every shower should have a build in seat and grab bars and needs to be deep enough to maneuver a wheel chair, which is at least 36 inches deep. The water closet can only be used by people who have full mobility. It is way too small for people with handicaps and the door is not practical.
    Most older people will use their own bathroom in the house to avoid conflicts. For seniors it's better to design two different spacious suites with generous bedrooms and bathrooms because most older couples sleep for many reasons in separate quarters.
    There needs to be at least 3 feet to the right and left of the bed to get safely around.
    Don't buy a home with a free standing tup. It's extremely hard to get in and out (especially for short people) and very dangerous especially when wet because there is nothing to hang on to.

    • @Southwest55Plus
      @Southwest55Plus  2 місяці тому +1

      These homes are designed for “Active Adults” who do not want the features that older seniors require. We have lots of options for people with disabilities though. Every home might not suit every person. If you want two large master suites then you will pay a lot more. These homes are great for many but probably not for you. Thanks for watching!

      @@Southwest55Plus even active adults have to be 6'4" tall to use the upper kitchen cabinets.
      And even children are in danger if they use free standing bathtubs.

    • @Southwest55Plus
      @Southwest55Plus  2 місяці тому

      They have other options for cabinets. Some people like this look so they can display things. They're not putting daily items there. And children won't be using the bathtubs in these homes. I think you might have to explore other neighborhoods since this one seems to be very triggering for you.
