Saddlebrooke Ranch has some new info swirling that buyers should look at. Robson is not going to build more amenities and close out number of homes built. They are reported to be pulling out of the Arizona markets for more homes. No multiple clubhouses or additional golf course. Robson sold water companies and is consolidating. One reason we ended up buying at Saddlebrooke the main one south of the ranch. More amenities and better setting.

I'm starting to think about retirement living options, but I'm a bit worried about the costs. I've heard that some retirement communities can be quite expensive, and I'm not sure how I'll afford to live comfortably while also generating some income.

We looked at Pebble Creek years ago, per square footage and community appeal, PC appeared to be overpriced when compared to others. We decided to buy in Sun City West instead.

I'm still about 10 years out from retirement, but in my work I have a lot of retired clients, and I've learned that one really needs to plan for retirement (and not just financially!) I've been listening to videos about 55+ communities because I know I want a social and active retirement. I'm looking forward to watching your videos about communities in different states. I was in Phoenix last September and while the shopping was fantastic, I immediately wrote it off as a place I'd never consider for retirement because it was so hot. However, I'm going to watch some more of your videos and see if they open my mind. That setting you're filming this video in is quite beautiful. Thanks for the good info. Looking forward to more!

I love 55+ communities especially if it’s gated. It’s usually clean, has lots of amenities and no kids doing cannonballs in the pool when you’re on your float with a cocktail. Love it.

I was very keen on Pebble Creek UNTIL I read about the publicised noise issues surrounding the Air Force jets; all day long and into the night. I'm looking for peace and quiet in my dotage. Otherwise, sounds (except for the jets ☺) and looks like a great place.

What’s the place called in Arizona where you showed the resort style pool?

I like the concept but hate Florida. I am quite happy in Vegas😊.

I lived for the better part of a decade in the Yuma Foothills. For seniors, the biggest challenge with the community is that there is ONE, and only ONE, hospital. YRMC pretty much has a choke hold over city government with regard to health care in the region. Twenty or so years ago, the city had been talking about possibly building a second hospital. YRMC got involved in the conversation, and mysteriously the second hospital plan was cancelled. If you have a health issue, and you're unable to get the level of care that you need, you may find yourself driving Phoenix, Tucson, or San Diego. Oh and there is VERY LITTLE water in the Colorado River in the vicinity of Yuma. Thanks Arizona, California, and Nevada! ☹ The river looks more like a creek as it crosses the international border into Mexico. Lastly, if you choose to live out in the Foothills, don't be surprised when you find large desert scorpions, rattlesnakes, and sidewinders in and around your yard.

I enjoyed watching your video sharing your experience. We will be considering some of the places you mentioned. But what i would really like to do is purchase land about an 1/4- 1/2 acre to build a container home. Are you familiar with container homes? Yuma, Green Valley and Bull Head all sounds like nice areas. I hear crime might be an issue in Yuma? I will reach out to you in a couple of months. Ron
