Never judge a book by its cover,…. The book could get closed in your face like that performance!!! Susan crowned them with that one. She would go on to become very successful musically. Keep rockin’- K Shavon.🔥🔥🔥🤘✌️
This perfectly-postured Queen of England: Susan Boyle is since then, 'worth' $4M! &! she hasn't let it change her pre-riche$ nor- mal, humble personality, Shavon! 👑🤗🎉
I didn't see this video until 10 years after the fact! I don't know where I was or what I was doing but then I did see it and I absolutely fell in love with Susan Boyle! Talk about a true champion! She has a beautiful voice and because she doesn't meet the "standards" in media and the world they all sneered and made fun of her. Then she blew them away with her voice and she continued to do that for many years!! The old saying goes.. don't judge a book by the cover!!
Morning sis, Susan is so cute and love her giving Simon a bit of Spice. Such a heartbreaking song and always makes me cry when I hear it. Thanx darlin', take care, Peace
Elaine Paige is an international singing star. Susan later performed with her. You should react to her version of the Rolling Stones song "Wild Horses". Susan gained international fame after this performance. She suffers from Aspergers and had difficulty dealing with fame. She is now a millionaire living a quiet life in Scotland.
It's not that she did this song perfectly, it's about everyones pre judgement, and you cought that ofcourse. I didn't see this live, but was very there at that time, and it became viral af. Great reaction as always, love ya from Sweden
I hate how they always assume that someone who is not the youngest or most attractive has no talent. So disrespectful. For a similar audition, check out Paul Potts' audition on Britain's Got Talent.
This song is a solo sung by the character Fantine in the famous play Les Miserables. Originally a French play, it premiered its English version in London in 1985. Susan's choice of song is fitting to her story, she was ridiculed for being unattractive and "slow" but you can see she's got some strong spirit in her (a true Scotswoman). She is reportedly one of judge Simon Cowell's favorite contestants. Another Fun Factoid: Queen Elizabeth hosted this play inside Windsor Castle in the 90s.
Many many people have sung this song, because it is a HUGE song in the musical Les Miserables (one of my favorite shows EVER). They are standing up, etc, because they are shocked at her voice. Notice at the start, they were all rolling their eyes at her, as though she was about to make a fool of herself. She showed those A$$holes. This is one of the best auditions ever. Susan did well for herself after this.
Please react to her duet with Elaine Paige, live, 6 months after this audition. It' s beautiful and she made her dream come true, singing with her idol. Beautiful and touching. Kiss from Portugal. Ana
Love these vids, so if you do more I hope you include "Aida Nikolaychuk's audition on X-factor Ukraine." The judges stopped her because they thought she was lip-syncing...that it couldn't be real.
I haven't seen your reactions in quite some time. Next artists should be Ren and his song Hi Ren then check out 2 duets with Ren and Chinchilla. Then go down both rabbit HOMES. See ya again
she was an overnight success after this.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover❤
People laughed at her, the biggest surprise of their lives. Looks can be deceiving. Tx for this. Greetings from South Africa

She’s Scottish! She’s not English.
So fantastic to know that she is now a millionaire. Just a fabulous voice from her, they were so amazed then but not now!!!!
Susan Boyle certainly surprised everyone with her first performance on this TV show. Good for her!!
This performance never gets old. Amanda and Simon are still judging all these years later.
❤❤❤
Love this!! Love seeing good people come up!!! She made millions after this!!❤

UR WELCOME TAMMY
No a person doesn't have to sound like the original.
It's a song from Les Miserables, and it's very demanding to sing..she killed it and laughed at it's corpse
This was a famous musical on Broadway which is why everyone knew the song. You were probably a little one when Les Mis was a hit.
