I love Steve Harrington more than any other character. He has had THE MOST character development and is the closest character to a real person. He is a completely different person from 4-5 years ago, just like we all change and grow in real life. Him and Nancy deserve to be happy together.

Don’t forget how Jonathan ignored the sexism Nancy went through, even though he knew it bothered her. Then he moves away and fails to visit her. I loved jancy but their relationship has no development unlike Stancy. Steve changed for her, and you can’t deny how Nancy is starting to like him again. Remember what Eddie said. Both of them have changed since season 1, doesn’t mean they will never be good for each other.

I’m so happy to see some stancy love. I disagree that them being together would ruin their development. They’ve both grown so much and they are completely different from the people they were in S1. Them rekindling their relationship won’t change that. Instead, they can form a new type of bond that they weren’t able to in the first season.

Steve has one of the most amazing arcs for sure! He has grown and matured he loves all of those kids, and even if Nancy chooses Jonathan he would still love those kids. I think not matter what happens to him he deserves a happy ending even if it’s not with Nancy. ❤ love him

I think Jonathan and Nancy are starting to kinda Go their seperate ways, I mean, Jonathan didn’t hardly ever visit Nancy over the summer, plus, What’s the point of them being together if their days away?! Get back together already!!
I understand that the writers might wanted to challenge their relationship in this season so we can see how Nancy is challenging to accept Steve's change(because let's be honest the guy has shifted character). However, Jonathan had always been there for her. All three of them were students in the first 2 seasons who managed to express themselves and stop hiding behind a mask because of peer pressure. They all changed. Especially Steve. But Jonathan was the one who met Nancy in a difficult moment(Barbs death) and helped her accept her inner self and start her own journey. He was there for her, respected her by speaking truth to her about his impression of her, just like she did whe she called him freak. When Steve broke his camera was understandable but that was Jonathans way to hide, just like steve who was trying to be the alpha rich guy of a group of idiots and nancy her girlfriend and part of the popular kids. In that way, Jonathans help led nancy to help Steve in her way by breaking up with him.I understand that they are attracted to each other, but Nancy spent most of her time with Jonathan and grew with Jonathan. Jonathan had always been protective like Steve (but Steve didn't care about his people until Nancys break up when he realized that he actually cares about her /that was a big step).Jonathan had been the man of the house, a protective brother and a shy loner. In s4 was still a protective grown up but they just didn't handle it that good and he seemed weak the whole season. That gave space to stancy. I mean I get it but it is not necessary to happen. It is necessary to have a fight as a normal couple but they lie to each other because they love each other and respect each other's future and careers. In s5 they need to talk open and serious about their future in college and their motives and clear their misunderstandings.
I agree with this, but one thing I will say if they're reopening the love triangle again, they can't have it where Nancy breaks Steve's heart again to go back to jonathan. Because they've done that storyline, and everyone moved on. So if stancy isn't endgame I think they're leaving it in a way which Nancy decides to not be with either or one of the 3 may die and I think Steve is the safest. I'm curious how this will play out, I just hope they don't repeat Steve's heartbreak storyline again.
Imo I do think all 3 will remain separate. No ship wins, they remain friends and its a happy ending for jancy and stancy fans, kinda.

What if she is covering a story about an orphanage and through that she gets attached to a couple of kids and then talks Steve into adopting them with her? She can have her career and he can have his family all at the same time. Especially the career she is choosing, it's very friendly for women who later one want to have families.
