I love that your videos are short and concise. Parents are busy and would rather spend time with their teens practicing the skills you are graciously sharing than bogged down in a long video. Thanks for getting to the point without a lot of fluff!!

I am saving all of your videos to my playlist. You’ve been able to connect a lot of the dots for me. I’m a mother of 3 daughters ages 21,19,&16. I am projecting my fears onto them. That’s the mistake I’m making. I see it clearly now for what it is. My oldest lives across the country and I can’t seem to connect with her either. I’m so lonely for them. I miss when they were little it seemed easier. I love them so much and I’m afraid to let them go…

You are pretty awesome. And you remind me of a mom of 3 daughters in Hawaii. I have watched about 3 of your videos.
I have a situation coming up and I’m very much looking forward to spending a lot of time with an ex’s 10 y.o. And I want to get along and be kind and connect. I absolutely understand about respect and communication. I always sit the child down and talk to them about what I expect from them and what they can expect from me. Structure and discipline widely different for every child. I do find myself always giving her life long lessons. Not realizing it can affect our great relationship we have. I am learning a lot from you already just watching a few of your videos. Thanks you and look forward to hearing more so that Anise and I can grow together. Yes I do find boundaries as well a very important.
    Aloha from Tennessee,

I think the last place I'd typically look for advice is from a life coach. However, after stumbling upon your videos I'm truly amazed and inspired by your ability to so eloquently and concisely convey such parental wisdom. Your way of communicating things that are inherently confusing and tangled is easy to understand, and pertinent to everyone. So thank you! If I could offer one tiny piece of advice--not about your content or delivery per se--but about the videos themselves, it would be this: I think breaking up the videos with some stock video clips could help create parallel imagery that makes the videos more visually interesting. You are a great speaker (and beautiful!), and I think this method would help engage more viewers. The only good example I have of this is via the channel Economics Explained, which are 100% stock imagery, with the creator's voiceover. His stock video clips really help make a boring subject interesting to watch. People also love graphs and statistics, if pertinent. Just a thought! I'll continue to watch your videos regardless- thank you!

Great video. You should do recaps at the end of your videos.
