Day 1 had a big open LCQ won by Moke to join an invitational top 8 with Tokido, MenaRD, Angry Bird, Oil King, Daigo, Sako and Nuckledu!
Day 2 had a big 3v3 event between exciting teams!

I think you youngins are confused. Daigo loses to many and is not the best at games. There is always someone better. Kokujin owns him in 3s, Bas in CVS2, Sako won more against him than vice versa in SF5. Look it up yourselves. Guile to Guile mirror match, Sako won. It's all recorded. Daigo is an OVERALL good player, not the best at each game.

I have zero doubt Sako and the top players have that kind of reaction time, but I think he just wanted a cr.mk to a DR combo. Right before that, he walked forward and crouched, so the second crouch input registered for the DP.

He's a legend of a player but, so predictable and "cautious" with Ken. What happens if Akuma is less than useful than Ken?

That was very entertaining. Love the competition. Could watch this all day. Looking forward to the first patch where hopefully Ken is nerfed a bit. Once Akuma's in the game and Tokido's playing him (I presume), should be fun.

Cabba and Du just play him very well and it is very difficult to play guile in the way they play him but I think guile is top ten but not top 5. I think chun li cammy and juri and Dj push guile further down the list. Top 3 imo is Jp Luke ken.
As a Guile main 1700 MR he's not top 5. His aa sucks ass in this game and his optimal combos aren't easy to pull off. Chun and Cammy takes the 4th and 5th spot. Deejay beats guile and guile beats juri. Top 3 we already know lol

What is going on with mena.The guy is getting bodied from clowns recently.Sad really
Japanese Ken players are too conservative and "tactical". That is their biggest weakness. Maybe it's just Tokido and Daigo, and maybe it's because of their habits from playing as Guile, but they lack the aggression, unpredictability and fluidity of Western Ken players.
It might just be that they don't get to play with other cultures too much, so end up in bubbles of conformity.
Tokido should have destroyed Caba, but he reverted to his "cautious" type and had no answers for the problems guile caused him,.
