i am a bmx rider who lived in champaign. then moved to mt hood oregon 20 years ago to snowboarding for 20 years and ride bmx out west. i filmed 1200 videos then moved back home to help care for my 90 year old mom with cancer. i still ride and i am trying to find parks in the area. my brother lives in urbana. i use to ride street in champaign. i did the burger king drop off on 6th street. the psych stairs on campus. the 8 stairs i gapped them and other stuff. my one buddy did the 16 stair drop at krannert on his bmx. etc. just curious. where is this park in champaign and how long has it been there etc. thanks
That's an amazing story man! I'll definitely check out some of your video's. And this skatepark is called Sunset Ridge Park, its in Bolder Ridge (Bradley and Staley) tucked in the back of the park if you follow the side walk.
