I’ve seen someone’s depiction of Luke and Leia fully embracing the dark side and standing by their father’s side and I gotta admit they looked pretty badass.
Sorry Bro. But this was crucial for Luke’s development
Dark Empire was one of my favorite comics. Along with Legacy. Something about Skywalkers brushing with the Dark Side that draws me in.
I still like Dark Empire as it is wasn’t perfect but I just like the character growth Luke go through it shows even as a Jedi Knight they still going face the obstacles of dark side and those able resist it and come back to the light will be stronger they ever know. Nah it’s not leaning to grey Jedi territory because Luke still ultimately chose the light side in the end plus help him sympathize to his descendant Cade Skywalker in the legacy comic or anyone who struggles with the dark side.
“Remember why the Sith are more powerful than the Jedi, Sidious: because we are not afraid to feel. We embrace the spectrum of emotions, from the heights of transcendent joy to the depths of hatred and despair. Fearless, we welcome whatever paths the dark side sets us on, and whatever destiny it lays out for us”
Luke was most powerfull when he returned from dark back to the light.
If you remember what yoda said the dark side is not stronger than the light nor is to light stronger than the dark shide they're equal because you can't have light without darkness
At that point, one cannot call themself Jedi nor Sith but rather just pure Force wielder,
Luke doesn’t find out the true reason why Anakin chose the dark side until the Swarm Wars. Making his “finding out why his father turned” basically a moot point.
Because that's what your brain on Legends looks like.
Luke: Is the dark side stronger?
Luke: "I will never turn to the Dark Side."
I still love reading and knowing about these Star Wars stories even if its cannon or not, their in fact great stories.
I was just curious how far into Legends you've gotten. Some later books play with balancing the Light and Dark Side of the Force more. Depending on how you look at it you could say it works or doesn't work for various different points in the Jedi Order. They also explore this pretty well in the origins of the Jedi Order material too.
The legends ok I like the space battles plus the new republic had a star destroyer
Great video, does the book mention if Palpatine was stronger in his clone than his original body? If I recall he might have less power in a clone body, but he also would have had more time to develop his dark side power? I was not aware that Luke lost a duel to his clone!
I like dark empire more than anything Disney and filoni had pull out at least dark empire made look stronger badass and cool it also showed a portion of papaltine true power
Difference between using the darkside and turning...
Grey jedi territory does exist brah
Dark side and light its the same... force is a live, its everywhere, there where ppl are angry and using anger to make force stronger they say its DARK SIDE... because they are closed for true form of force
