    I love that you're using this video and getting the healing effects of moving energy thru your body. This exercise is indeed similar to the TRE trauma release exercises, they are both based on the same bio-energetic principles.
    For those who are having sore calves or knees - the key is to be LOOSE about it. Imagine you have springs in your knees, ankles and hips. Shake out your legs every once in a while, and let your legs be as loose and soft as possible. Change the degree you're bending the knees to be comfortable, and to not strain your legs...
    AND, the more often you do this exercise, the easier it gets. It often feels stiff at first, since your muscles are habitually tight. DO it for a week and you'll notice how much easier and more flowing it becomes!
    ENJOY!!!

    Deepika, I've been watching and doing the Shaking and Grounding Biogenetic exercises since the last 4 days. I think them very good , because you explain them very simply and sensitively. They can easily be fitted into one's routine. Thank you very much.

    Hey, just started exploring this whole bioenergetics world.Bought the Alexander Lowen book,"The way to vibrant health" looking forward to getting stuck in.Thanks for these vids they're a great introduction and great to do,love this shaking one.Think i'd have to live in a remote log cabin in some wilderness to truly let rip with the vocal sounds though haha.More please!

      Now thats interesting ;), I started "Bioenergetik" (German) from Alexander Lowen a few days ago (almost finished) and watched this video today ;)! And the topic is fascinating, love the holistic approach of healing & seeing the body and working with the body (I'm more into training, nutrition at the moment). Maybe the UA-cam Channel "TheArtofUnity.com" is interesting for you aswell.
      All the best!

    Ok woah. This rocked my world. I was actually looking for a video on how to do the SOMATIC shaking technique and found your video instead.
    While doing the movement I started to get mad...AT MYSELF. Like RAGE MAD. Felt like I wasn't doing it right, legs started to feel tired, my clothes were in the way, my hair kept falling down.
    I WAS PISSED.
    I did the SILENT RAGE SCREAM.
    You know the one....where you scream with no noise but it's so powerful that your face feels like its going to explode in all directions at once.
    Yeah THAT one.
    And I did it 4 times. I ended up crying and after realizing through my crying that I am MASSIVE TRUST ISSUES WITH WOMEN because of my childhood with my step sister, step mom and biological mom.
    WOAH WOAH FUCKING WOAH.
    Thank you for this ...was going to do part 2 but roommates are here and sleeping.
    SUBSCRIBED AND SHARED!! ❤🔥❤

    you engage several muscles to control your body to the calculated movements you desire to express dance. i think this is about remaining loose and relaxed while incorporating slight impact to kinetically send vibrations throughout your body like an internal massage loosening tension and restriction

    This is very similar to the Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) as developed by David Berceli. TRE invokes the innate tremoring mechanism that occurs during trauma. There is indeed something about tremoring/shaking that releases the effect of trauma and stress.

    Can I do this before sleep for insomnia or will this wake me up?

    • @aurumleadership
      @aurumleadership 5 років тому +1

      Hi Filipe, YES, this can be very helpful for releasing stress that prevents sleep. It's both relaxing and enlivening, but you can use it for sleep. There are 2 options I often use and recommend:
      Version 1. Before going to sleep, do this softly and gently, inviting all the worries, activities and energies of the day to loosen and slide off your body into the earth. Intentionally let go of everything you've been carrying, imagine the dust and dirt of the city clearing away, etc. Then, after that wave feels complete, let your body slooooowly stretch, breathe, and sway slowly. Gentle, soothing movements that help prepare you for rest.
      Version 2. If you're especially stressed or something is keeping you away at night and you can't sleep, you can get out of bed and do this shaking technique. If you're feeling very anxious, or angry or your mind is busy busy busy, then this can be very helpful.
      In this case, let the shaking be stronger, to match the energy that is stuck in your body-mind. Shake as intensely as feels right, and you can add sounds or gibberish (nonsense words) to empty out your mind. Allow any feelings to move through - allow tears, frustration, fear, etc, and invite it to move through the body DOWN into the earth. Keep breathing. After a few minutes the wave of expression will feel complete. Take some deep breaths, shake more gently, and invite compassion/kindness/grounding/clarity... whatever positive quality is needed and natural, to fill you up. Then slow down, do some gentle movements, perhaps including a hug for yourself, and then take yourself back to bed.
      Hope that helps! :) Deepika

      @@aurumleadership Hi Deepika, l hope you're well, l see that you did this video 8 years ago, and you answered this question a year ago. I believe this to be the true excise for mankind, as it's a natural movement. I had an experience, waking up to find my legs shaking violently, with a feeling of wellbeing, which got me thinking that similar movements are that of animals..... one doesn't see them lifting weights etc. I've been doing these movements for over 8 years, without saying anything to anyone. So today I just type shaking exercises and find your videos. Very interesting 😊 l am from England, living in France for 26 years. I wish you all the best and stay safe in this world situation 🙏💛

    • @DeeperIntoLife
      @DeeperIntoLife  10 років тому +2

      Hi! Sore calves are a sign of habitual tightness in the legs. Make sure to keep your legs very loose and knees a bit less bent when you do this exercise. Imagine springs in your knees bouncing, and shake your legs out every few minutes. Have fun with it, as though you're a kid on a trampoline, or a puppet with loose strings... And the more often you do it, the more flowing and easy it will become. The pain will be replaced with flowing life force.. :-) ENJOY!
