    OMG - I'm so glad I saw this. I definitely have high anxiety and my head leans forward. I didn't realize it all connected with the vagus nerve. Also have a chronic cough from damage to the vocal cord after a virus. Will definitely implement this into my deep breathing exercises. Thank you so much!

    Excellent Info.. The Surge of info on the Vagus Nerve is amazing. The exercises are a good part of the treatment for the maladies of the Motherlode Nerve: The Vagus Nerve. My question and concern is : I have Cervical Instabilities (Stenosis, disc herniations, facet joint arthritis). I will trry these exercises with limitations and caution due to pretty severe stiffness in my neck. I would offer looking at the YT vids of Dr. Ross Hauser at Caring Medical about the affects of Cervical Instabilities on the Vagus Nerve . Amazing Stuff.

    This video just made my pain go away on the spot! I have a pain in my jawline (teeth, jaw, face, ear on my left side) dentist saw nothing and I have been on meds for three day where although it helped, the pain just isn’t going away totally. The stretching you showed really helped sooo much! It made me look into the vagus nerve and it is so interesting and helpful ! Thank you very very much

I am a laborer for a tree service. So we are constantly carrying heavy weights on our shoulders (logs. And I always put the heavy logs on my right side, My right shoulder specifically.) and dragging and pulling heavy tree limbs. I will try to comment in the section after I try your stretches. Hi Dr Emily. I'm using this exercise to help with anxiety. When I move my eyes to the far left and far right, and hold it there, I I'm literally filled with absolute panic and terror and fear. I hold it for only 10 seconds or so as I feel like I could totally get hysterical. What's going on here? Do you have any idea?

    • @erinm3567

    • @qimmu11
      @qimmu11 2 роки тому

      Maybe try to hold your eyes a little bit less to a side, at a point that is not quite as far. I noticed I’d get bad anxiety also until I eased the strain on my eyes back a bit and just breathed.
      Also, look into having your aura cleared. Negative energies that we can take on when we’re depressed or anxious (or stresses, angry, etc) a lot want to hold us there in that kind of vibration. Peter Steedman and Andrew Porter in the UK have done great remote energy healings to help me and family and friends I get a session every few months, even as a tune up (very cheap for what you get, like between $40-55).

    Have you ever heard of a man named Jerry Tennant? And his theory about our muscles being battery packs. And when people have a lot of problems, a lot of times it’s not generally their bones or discs out of place, Or discs in the back being out of line, it is it’s set a muscle groups that is not fully recharged. And this goes into nerve, and stomach interaction. Also, I have no medical experience, but I have suffered from all kinds of stuff for years and I think a lot of traditional ways have no idea how the body works. #ElectricUniverseTheory

    Thanks for video. Instead of yawning or a swalling what about if you burb?

    • @MaryMartha11
      @MaryMartha11 4 роки тому +2

      The burp signifies a release of un-needed stored energy being released in your thoracic body area thus relaxing the muscles that were holding it and making it impossible for that energy to become a muscle knot. Other actions often produce a gurgle in the intestines signifying lower body release often large enough to actually pass gas. SO, let-er-rip at either end knowing it is confirmation of doing your techniques properly and avoiding knotted muscles!
