You know what I like about this channel. I would love to have a cocktail with these guys. Some of the of the other whiskey channels they try to be too funny and that appears insincere. These guys look like my buddies who I share drinks with. Thanks
Love kickin’ up my feet on a Saturday afternoon and watching your videos. Thank you. Been making your The Hunter cocktail with my friends… that’s a keeper. Be well.
Basically it's Bulleit Rye/MGP finished in Rum Casks....the AE guys don't make their own rye. Their port cask (at half the price) finish got me back into bourbon after a 30 year hiatus due to a 3 day hangover in my military days.
I like the jazz piano that plays during y'all's videos. For just listening I something more emphatic - Thelonious Monk, say - but the gentle jazz in the background is great. 🙂
Great video Kurt. Honestly I'm a rookie on the rye side of whiskey. I watched this to figure out more starting points for my rye whiskey selection. You and Trenton keep up the great videos and God bless.
Beautiful presentation here. The JD Barrel Barrel proof Special Release is a Ghost in my region. However I have these and I agree. My MNW is Act 6. Incredible Rye. Also I was fortunate to hold on to a few bottles of Pilesville Rye 80 proof before it was discontinued in 2018. Amazing old fashioned from it. Cheers.
Kurt love the channel. Pikesville in my neighborhood here in NC is right at 60 bucks the midwinter nights is also exceptional. Keep doing what your doing cheers
I’ve gotten into bourbon and scotch this year. Gonna have to give rye a chance. I’ll probably start with pikesville, everyone seems to like it. Great video thanks for the different bottle ideas. And I would love to try any Blue Run whiskey, rye or bourbon. Good find on that one.
Pikesville is def a great one to start with concerning taste and cost. Believe it or not I actually saw a Blue Run rye tonight at Binnys in Chicago. Hopefully you will find one!
Great show...glad I came across your channel! Been fortunate to have had 3 of the 5 you picked. My go to rye is Bulleit Rye. Would love your thoughts on it!
Pikesville is one of my all-time favorite rye's. That, along with Blaum Brothers Rye, and New Riff Rye Bottled-in-Bond. I haven't had the opportunity to try the others on your list, but would love to. I also really like the Old Forester and Turkey 101 Rye, both which I always keep behind the bar.
First time viewing your channel - great job! Long time single malt and irish whiskey fan - but 2 years into my rye journey. Lots of great ones out there - i have 3 if the 5 you review and agree with your order - i particularly love the Mid Winters Night’s - sadly i don’t have your number 2 or number 1. More important - great to find your channel! As they day ‘I”ll br back”!
Just stumbled upon your channel. I'm really enjoying them. I personally prefer rum, but do enjoy a whiskey now and then. I only have Friday night pour/special occasion bottles of any spirit. I will be looking through your videos to get an idea of some bottles to look for.
I have and love 4/5 on your list. I have never been able to get the JD. But I would need to include Kentucky Owl Rye. Overpriced at $300, but I absolutely love it. I actually like Rye the best. I am a bourbon consumer and collector. But, my favorite is rye. Keep up the fantastic content. I love it.
Kurt & Trent, Well now you made my Rye shopping list grow lol. Pikesville is tuff to find. I will keep looking. Keep your glass full 🥃 . Blessings from Gettysburg Pa….
I just started drinking bourbon the last few months. Instead of drinking beer. I tried a rye tonight for the first time, wild turkey 101 rye and I really like the rye better than straight bourbon. Very sweet taste !
Rye whiskey is the best! It has a special place in my heart and is my favorite spirit, hands down. I think the Willett has an irresistible dill pickle note. That one is my favorite on your lineup. I'm surprised something from Jack Daniel's beat out the Willett for you. It must be really good. I've never tried it. Like some of your commenters below, Rittenhouse is my go-to for cocktails. Great channel - keep it up!
Again, Sir - Thanks for this review. I’ve been a little slow to pick up ryes . (Straight Bourbon guy) I had a lotta few sips of a Rye last Fall with my Brother in Law - good times. I am definitely a fan of the Michter’s family- so I will probably target that (something close). Helpful insight, Sir.
@@slbdrinks: Please don’t get me wrong, my friend; I really enjoy your presentations. They are both informative and highly entertaining, too. Thanks for the efforts that you put into making these videos. Much appreciated, indeed.
@@slbdrinks Well, I have besides Turkey 101, I also have Templeton Rye, Bulleit Rye, Rittenhouse Rye and Rebel Straight Rye.....That is my Rye Catagory so far. Had some Rittenhouse on Ice the other day.... ON Square Ice....Longer I sipped the better got. Old Fashion with Bulleit has been good too. You are really helping me have a more interesting Bar.
Great job as always. Appreciate your comments about value everyday drinkers. As far as Pikesville goes, I've never seen it for less than $65, but even at that price I think it's a good value. And I lucked out when the WP15 came out because my local priced it at the same price as the 12. 90 bucks for that bottle was a dream come true! But $220? No thank you. The one splurge I made for rye was the Kentucky Owl. I would NEVER pay the ridiculous prices for their bourbon. But I recently tried the 10 year KO Batch 3 for $170. I liked it so much I bought 2 bottles. It's so delicious I could almost drink it for breakfast - but that wouldn't be right. Right?! Anyway keep up the great work!
Great stories here, thanks for sharing! What a deal on the WP 15 congrats! Once mine is gone I won’t be spending another 200 on it. Good, but not worth that. You can’t go wrong with the KO rye either. Great choice!
Love finished Ryes like MWND and Angel's Envy. They cut some of that over-whelming black pepper I always get with rye's. I also love Minor Case rye from Limestone Branch. So tasty and only around $40.00 by me.
The New Riff Balboa Rye currently edges out Pikeville and Willet 4 year in my collection. I also enjoy the New Riff Malted 6 year BIB but that a slightly different profile and it depends on the day if I prefer it over Pikesville. That said... Sagamore Double Oak and 8 year are also incredible for readily available bottles.
Great list! I have all of those except the new 4 year Willett. I have is an old MGP 4 year single barrel Willett though. My top 5 would be Hochstadters 16 year (Alberta), 2012 THH, Lot 40 Cask strength (11 or 12 year), Shelter Point 2006 single cask (Alberta) double barreled 11 year and Rendezvous Rye Barrel select Hungarian Cask finish. HM for Michters BS Rye and Kentucky Owl batch 1. I have not opened the JDBP Rye or the Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye yet so they could jump in there.
I have been trying to find Canadian selections for a future video. Lot 40 or the other Alberta ryes I have not seen unfortunately. Sounds like a great list!
@@slbdrinks Hochstadters 16 was a few years ago but you can substitute Lock Stock & Barrel 13, 16 or 18. Also released by Cooper Spirits and Alberta Rye. Lot 40 86 proof should be readily available to you and the 3rd Lot 40 CS (French Oak) was also released in the US but may have dried up. Cheers
Pikesville is one of my favorites. It's not too hard to find in the San Francisco area. I use it to make a Manhattan with a 2:1 ratio with Carpano Antica formula vermouth. Another rye I enjoy but only neat is High West Rendezvous. I was fortunate enough to snag a bottle the first release of Angels Envy Rye, which is still sealed but have snagged a few more bottles. I have tried mixing that one but did not like the results. Thank you and great list.
Love Rye Whiskey. After Scotch Single Malt, it’s defo my next favourite whisky category. Unfortunately, Michters & Willett are hard to source here in the U.K., however I have just managed to bag a bottle of Thomas H Handy 2020 at retail, so can’t moan too much. That stuff is incredible. Gives any super premium single malt a run for the money. Another Rye which I really really like is MB Roland. Their Rye (& Bourbons) are super unique and interesting. Not for everyone, but we’ll worth a try for an enthusiast.
I will have to keep my eye out for that one. Huge congrats on finding the Handy at retail!! I have had a pour of the 2020 and your right it is fabulous! Enjoy!
I ordered a rye Old Fashioned at a fancy restaurant one evening. I asked the waitress what rye whiskey did they use. She said Jack Daniels, best one I've ever had!
I've probably gone overboard with my bourbon collection over the last few months and hadn't included any high quality rye whiskeys. Picked up a bottle of the Willett based on this video and gave it a pour tonight. Absolutely delicious neat. It has instantly become one of my very favorite whiskeys. Thank you for your awesome reviews and ideas. p.s. - Seems too good for a mixer, although I am sure it is great for that as well.
Definitely can't argue with your top selections. They are all great! I often go to Rittenhouse rye for a Manhattan. I need to try Old Forester and WT 101 instead. Thanks for the reminder! Pikesville used to be everywhere. It seems to have dried up a bit before I was able to try it.
Would love to try Mid Winter's Night Dram but it's something I'll never see here. Agree with your JD SBBP rye pick, another fantastic offering from Jack. Great list 🥃
Good video per usual. Perhaps some discussion about how there is a substantial taste divide between some ryes. Specifically, that some of the "traditional" ryes have anise/licorice, rye bread, as well as some dill notes. Whereas a large subset of others go the sweet, smores, dessert type route without a hint of dill, etc (e.g. High West, James E. Pepper, etc.). How you like your rye will impact the recommendation, and especially how it is used in cocktails. That segues into another topic that could be its own video...best ryes for cocktails. I'm guessing it is a balance between price and a pleasant flavor that doesn't get lost in the cocktail. Your affinity for WT 101 rye makes sense given they make a good product and your WT preference. Rittenhouse rye is usually mentioned as bartender favorite, and is often in my bar. BUT, the one that I don't think gets enough credit is Sazerac. It is excellent (although I don't drink it neat very often...hmmm). Guess, which rye makes the best Sazerac cocktail?! In a recent blind tasting it rather easily beat Sazeracs made from Rittenhouse, Whistle Pig Piggyback (6 yr), and even WT Rare Breed Rye. The complex multi-note, floral rye character just makes for a dynamic cocktail. Now whether it does the same for Manhattans...I don't know (but I'm looking forward to doing such important research).
I absolutely love your knowledge and learn so much from your comments! I use Sazerac also exclusively in the Sazerac cocktail. Thanks so much again for your involvement in this channel! I appreciate your insight!
Was glad to see Angel's Envy Rye finished in Caribbean Rum cask on the bar top. I always keep an extra bottle in the bottom of the cabinet. One of my favorite ryes for sure. Just had a glass last night! Wish I could get my hands on the Midwinter Nights Dram and the Michter's barrel strength toasted barrel rye!
I haven’t taste the Willett yet! Your other picks are spot on! Act 9 Mid Winters Night Dram (2021) is delicious. I can’t wait to taste the Willett so i can please myself! 😂 . Keep bringing the awesome reviews.
1. Willett 4 Year Rye 2. Any higher proof rye sourced from MGP 3. Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye 4. Wilderness Trail Single Barrel Barrel Strength Rye 5. Wild Turkey 101 Rye To each their own of course,... but it broke my heart just a little bit to hear you taking about putting Willett in a cocktail.
Can’t argue that list! If it makes you feel any better my Manhattan is the only cocktail that I would use the Willet for and not on every occasion either. Sometimes I just can’t help myself!
Great list. I have 4 of the 5. I definitely agree with your #1. It is a brilliant dram. I luckily have one in the bunker. I think I would have added Old Forester single barrel, barrel strength to the list, in place of the Pikesville. Cheers!
Rye is my favorite, a couple of my favorites are JDSiBBP 2020 Special Release and Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength. I can find Pikesville, but the rest are complete unicorns. I did find a bottle of that JD, but I haven't seen any more in almost a year.
Willett and Pikesville are readily available in KY, OH... Understand the top 3 but those I would call Unicorns in my area... Willett 4 yr is my Go To Rye...
Gotta mention this one... if you can find it, it's worth it for the unique nature of the flavor of stone-fruited sun tea that knocked my taste buds for a loop... out of the small batch Old Pogue Distillery in Maysville, KY, "Old Maysville Club Kentucky Straight Rye Malt Whiskey". The 100 proof, 100% malted rye mash bill is so unique in flavors, especially after at least 4 years in the barrel. In fact, I purposefully look for the "sun tea" flavor profiles when tasting ryes, and even some bourbons for malted rye notes. You won't be disappointed!
@@slbdrinks Also I'm a BIG fan of the Angels Envy Rum Cask finished Rye. It's practically a self-contained strong cocktail on it's own with the spice, sweet, fruit, and bitter notes all rolled together. Good to see it noted by you , too.
After scotch, rye is my whiskey of choice. Journeyman last feather rye and redwood empire emerald giant are two that I really enjoy. Whistle pig piggyback is nice as well.
Trent has that one! He wasn’t very fond of it but he doesn’t generally like high rye bourbons either. I think a high rye bourbon like redwood empire LM mixes well in an old fashioned.
Kurt, you chose a great bunch of ryes. My only change would be to add Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Cornerstone to the top 3. Also, be on the lookout for High West’s Midwinter’s Night Dram Act 8 Scene 2. It is the most recent release I know of and comes in at 49.3% ABV. It is, IMO, better than Act 7 and worth the hunt. For my cocktails, I choose Rittenhouse. It is always available and has a great balance of sweet and spicy. I used to make my Old Fashioned cocktails with Pikesville as recently as a year ago, but after it won those Whiskey awards I can’t find it in Hawaii anymore. If you have it available where you are, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
I can get Pikesville rather easily (sorry) and it is def amazing especially for the price! Rittenhouse is an excellent cocktail choice as well. I have several Masters Keep bottles including the rye and that one was def in the running and hard to leave off! Thanks for your input!
I’ve had both Pikesville and Willet, and they are good ryes. The other three I’m sure a even better, but they’re also unicorns and sold for inflated prices on the secondary.
Found your channel a few days ago, been watching your past videos almost religiously! Great stuff. Have you tried Peerless distillery Bourbon or Rye? They are doing some great things with their spirits. I think you would really enjoy their stuff.
Imo Russel's Reserve Single Barrel Rye is fantastic too. I didn't expect so much rye flavor from a barely legal mash bill. It reminds me a lot of Pikesville.
I really like Kentucky Owl Straight Rye. Batch #1 is my favorite. I know the dry state was on your fail list, but have you tried and reviewed their rye? I am going to pick up some of the ones you mentioned. Really enjoy the videos!
Please pick up a bottle Hillrock double cask Rye! It will blow you away. I actually met Dave Pickerell the master distiller for the distillery at a tasting here before he sadly passed away.. Cheers! Happy new year!
100% with you on the Willett. My biggest go-to, and I almost exclusviely mix with it in anything highly spirit forward. I was skeptical of that High West--it sounded like bit too much going on. I'll have to try it out sometime. I picked up a bottle of their Rendevous a while back and hated it. Overly sweet and not very interesting, but I don't remember which finish it was (I think there were 3-4 different ones). Also I hate you for getting that Michter's. Never been able to find any of their more limited stuff anywhere.
Super lucky to have a prayer on that Michters! The High West is a tad on the sweet side due to the finish process. If that is not in your standard taste profile it may not be up your alley. I personally love it!
Damn, these look awesome, great video! Sadly, I can't get a single one of these in my market (Canada). I did buy the Alberta premium cask strength rye (batch #3). You had said previously someone you know might have a bottle. If not, I'd be happy to send up a sample! I have little rye experience but wow. Is it good!
Listen, I have been working on upping my Canadian whiskey game because it was severely lacking. Hoping to do a show soon focusing on Canadian whiskey only. Long story short just this week I picked up the Alberta premium cask strength but not sure what batch #. Phenomenal!! I really like it! Had I had this bottle before we taped my favorite rye whiskeys this bottle would have def been in the top 5! Thanks so much for your recommendation! I have learned so much from everyone on this channel!
@@slbdrinks hey that's awesome to hear! Glad you enjoyed it. What ABV is it?? That will tell what batch it is. Canadian is lacking at home for me as well. A UA-camr here gave me some incredible samples (and I mean incredible) and it inspired me to up my Canadian game. Anyway, great video!
i tried wt101 rye side by side with wt101 and i honestly found the non rye varient to be spicier than the rye, which is what i specifically look for in ryes. a beautiful rye imo is sagamore rye. its elegant,as you say. my overall favorite rye if i'm looking for that black pepper burn is wp10. great video, i love your down to earth layman flavor breakdowns. bangin job!
@@slbdrinks Bought a Buffalo Trace today for under 40. Had to chase it across town to a different location. My last 3 purchases are all good. Think the Buffalo Trace is my favorite with Elijah Craig and Russell 10 right behind. I think I'm going to get the Pikesville rye next
That Jack SBBP ! That bottle is ridiculous . Side note , WT 101 Rye and OF Rye came in first and second in my recent under 30 dollar Rye battle . Another great list Kurt !

That angels envy Carib rum cask finished rye is what got me into ryes, unbelievable, so overlooked

p.s. - Seems too good for a mixer, although I am sure it is great for that as well.
It is to good for a mixer honestly. Sometimes I just can’t help myself though in a Manhattan!
Hopefully you will see it again soon. I also have Rittenhouse and it is very solid as well!
I prefer Rittenhouse over Old Forester for my Old Fashion. It runs 26 bucks in my area.
That’s a solid rye I have never tried in an OF. I should do that.
Would love to try Mid Winter's Night Dram but it's something I'll never see here. Agree with your JD SBBP rye pick, another fantastic offering from Jack. Great list 🥃
Thanks so much. Hopefully you will run into it at some point. Simply gorgeous whiskey.
Kurt good choice , like for review !
Thanks so much!
Whillett 4 year is out of this world! I also love Col Taylor rye if you can find it!
I’m a fan of the angels envy rum barrel finished rye.
I love angels envy rye. Good with a cigar. Not a fan of the bourbon, but the rye is a solid intro into finished whiskey
Agreed! The bourbon is just ok but the rye is a great pour!
Would love to get the details to that “special cocktail” you make with Angel’ Envy
We should get that one out there soon! Love fishing to but don’t do it nearly enough! Hopefully you have time to cast a line out once in a while!
So this is really your top ten list!😂
Ha! Man I couldn’t help myself lol!!
Probably out of your mind??! You are so entertaining and informative it’s great.
I haven’t taste the Willett yet! Your other picks are spot on! Act 9 Mid Winters Night Dram (2021) is delicious. I can’t wait to taste the Willett so i can please myself! 😂 . Keep bringing the awesome reviews.
Omg that was awful but what do you do??
Thanks for checking in!
1. Willett 4 Year Rye
2. Any higher proof rye sourced from MGP
3. Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye
4. Wilderness Trail Single Barrel Barrel Strength Rye
5. Wild Turkey 101 Rye
To each their own of course,... but it broke my heart just a little bit to hear you taking about putting Willett in a cocktail.
Can’t argue that list!
If it makes you feel any better my Manhattan is the only cocktail that I would use the Willet for and not on every occasion either. Sometimes I just can’t help myself!
I got a bottle of Willet yesterday. Can’t wait to please myself!
Omg lol! Hopefully it is as good for you as it was for me! 😂😂😂
I knew he wouldn’t cut that out lol
@@slbdrinks 😆
I usually drink all my whiskey neat but I added seltzer to wt rye last night dam that was good
Wow that sounds pretty good! I love it when one thinks outside the box with whiskey and cocktails!
Great list. I have 4 of the 5. I definitely agree with your #1. It is a brilliant dram. I luckily have one in the bunker. I think I would have added Old Forester single barrel, barrel strength to the list, in place of the Pikesville. Cheers!
I haven’t had the barrel strength!! Ahhhhhh!!
Lol, so many to try but that does sound phenomenal!
Your 5 Canadian whiskeys had 3 rye. You obviously like rye. Really like the summary, too.
I do like rye however Canadian whisky is not easy to find around my parts. Had to go with what I could find. Thank you
Rye is my favorite, a couple of my favorites are JDSiBBP 2020 Special Release and Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength. I can find Pikesville, but the rest are complete unicorns. I did find a bottle of that JD, but I haven't seen any more in almost a year.
I need to try that Sagamore. You and several others have highly suggested that bottle. Thank you!
Wow have never heard of this one. Sounds very interesting! Thanks for the recommendation!
@@slbdrinks Also I'm a BIG fan of the Angels Envy Rum Cask finished Rye. It's practically a self-contained strong cocktail on it's own with the spice, sweet, fruit, and bitter notes all rolled together. Good to see it noted by you , too.
Your exactly right! Excellent rye whiskey on its own!
After scotch, rye is my whiskey of choice. Journeyman last feather rye and redwood empire emerald giant are two that I really enjoy. Whistle pig piggyback is nice as well.
I have the feather rye which I also think is good. I did have the RE but that one has been drained for a while 🙁
@@slbdrinks redwood empire has a whiskey called lost monarch that is probably my favorite sipping whiskey. Like a high rye bourbon.
Trent has that one! He wasn’t very fond of it but he doesn’t generally like high rye bourbons either. I think a high rye bourbon like redwood empire LM mixes well in an old fashioned.
The toasted is out of this world
Rarebreed Rye for me all day long :)
That’s a good one also!
Recently got to try that Michter’s alongside Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye. Both were incredible. I’m on the hunt.
Good for you!
If you can get hold of it try Pennsylvania Distillery’s Liberty Rye. Delish!
I will try to track it down!
What are your thoughts on High West Double Rye?
I like it! I think it’s an excellent choice for the price point! I was really getting into the barrel select releases as well.
Great list!!!
Rare Breed Rye would make my top 5 but I haven't had the pleasure of trying the Michters or MND..
Rare breed rye is awesome to!
IMHO Michters is on the watery side and lacks punch. Not a favorite.
That’s what makes the whiskey journey so interesting! We all have different palates and opinions.
Thanks for your input!
nice. Please try Balcone's Rye. It is my favorite Rye in the history of the world!!
Wow must be good! I have not had it yet but I will keep my eye out for it!
I’ve had both Pikesville and Willet, and they are good ryes. The other three I’m sure a even better, but they’re also unicorns and sold for inflated prices on the secondary.
I really liked Forgiven by Wild Turkey. I still have some
Redemption, limosine and mitchers is my top 3 ryres, id like u 2 review them please 🙏
Found your channel a few days ago, been watching your past videos almost religiously! Great stuff. Have you tried Peerless distillery Bourbon or Rye? They are doing some great things with their spirits. I think you would really enjoy their stuff.
Thanks for the recommendation and tuning in! I only have one bottle of the Peerless rye. I think it is a solid rye!
@@slbdrinks Awesome! Hope you do a review on it soon. Would love to hear your tasting notes.
I have a bottle of Peerless Rye “Orchard”… it’s fantastic.
Wow that was a great moment to meet him! If I see this bottle I will give it a try. I am sure they have other offerings that are good.
Curious what your thoughts are on Jefferson’s Reserve. It’s one for my favorite small batch bourbons.
I need to try some more. The only one I have at home is the release aged in rum casks which I do like.
Unfortunately I am not at home to check the actual ABV. Sitting at an airport waiting to fly to AZ.
@@slbdrinks enjoy the trip!
Have you had any of the Peerless Rye? Especially the single barrels. My new fav rye
All I tasted with Midwinter nights dram was black tea
That’s interesting. Now to be fair I only have the 2019 release (I believe without looking) but that is a a very nice pour.
Have you had the michters 10 yr rye?
I have not to this point. I want to say my brother has it not opened yet if my memory serves me correctly.
I bet you would love the old Forrester barrel proof rye if you can ever find one!
Man I have to find that one!!
i tried wt101 rye side by side with wt101 and i honestly found the non rye varient to be spicier than the rye, which is what i specifically look for in ryes.
a beautiful rye imo is sagamore rye. its elegant,as you say. my overall favorite rye if i'm looking for that black pepper burn is wp10.
great video, i love your down to earth layman flavor breakdowns. bangin job!
Thanks so much! I have got to try the Sagamore rye. You are not the only one to recommend that bottle.
Fully agree, thought the same thing when I tasted the two!
Is that a bottle of Bartons to your left on the 2nd shelf?
Don’t believe I have Barton’s on the shelf.
Hope you enjoy the rye!
That Jack SBBP ! That bottle is ridiculous . Side note , WT 101 Rye and OF Rye came in first and second in my recent under 30 dollar Rye battle . Another great list Kurt !
What cocktail do you make with the AE Rye?
Not a pikesville guy I get a medicinal cherry I couldn't get past. I have all of these but the Jack Rye, still sad I never found one of those.
Hopefully we will get another release out at some point.
I recently bought a Danish rye called stauning at 48 abv for £61. It is a really good spicy rye and different from American rye.
Kurt! Just found your channel and enjoy your reviews and taste palette!
I have a suggestion... please try to find Hooten Young whiskey. I think you'll be impressed... and it's a veteran owned business!
Keep sippin' buddy!
Thanks so much! Have to be honest I have never heard of Hooten Young but I will def keep an eye out for it!
i wish i had a bar like that at my house.
Kurt, where would you rate Johnny Walker High Rye? My first try at a rye in my price range! Lol
