Thanks writers/producer staff watch these every morning..Thank you ❤️
Yep yep, yep x3
Another Fun Fact: One of the houses we filmed in is the house from the horror classic: PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS.
OH SNAP!!!
Underrated film, loved People Under The Stairs!
I used to lovvvvvvve that movie!!!!!🤣😂
@@nakias364 Still love that movie :)
I love that movie! 😱
the style of the house in the beginning reminded me of monster house 😭
Righttt!! I thought I was the only one!! 😭🤦🏾♂️
Same
And murder house from AHS
nostalgiac💝💝😳
Yup! Same 💯
The scene where he and the cameraman was investigating the house was just frightening. Then the newscaster saying "we seem to be experiencing technical difficulties" was hilarious. Easily one of the best works I enjoyed from you guys.
Thanks! It was one of the most fun to make!
You’re even HERE,???
Yeah it was absolutely....., Well, were they just some guys without a moustache 😆😁.....?!
@@cxtrusss He appears to get around. Sometimes you go down one of those weird UA-cam rabbit holes and there he is.
All of them were fun, but I'd pick "Let us in," because I love the horror-comedy idea of cultists feeding other cultists to an evil house so they can have a nice place to live.
🤣
For her empowerment group you mean, not a cult 😂😂
real estate prices
I just peed on the tree in my garden, after watching this. To show dominance.
Hahahahaha
Lol
🤣😂
Baby steps! Don’t bite off more than you can chew. We all applaud your bravery!
I suspect that the tree didn't like that. Keep us updated as long as you can.
When he said *"WE MUST INVESTIGATE"*
I was like *"WTF"* lol
People never learn
I read this the second he said it
😂🤣
I’m such a geek, but I love the homage to “Unsolved Mysteries!” My brother and I used to watch that show with our mom all the time as kids. I surely hope Robert Stack is resting in peace. ❤️
Haha we loved it too. Also a bit of trivia: our colorist Randy Coonfield also colored the original show Unsolved Mysteries.
Oh, wow, how cool!!
am i the only one who thought that the ending one, the futuristic one that people are saying they don't like, was bringing the story back around, as you will notice that once again the tree is back again in all it's glory.
Poeple:let's cut the tree for wood
Tree: uno reverse
That's a badass back story and explanation for an evil house.
Thanks!!
I love the story with the news guys, and the with the cult girl and guy with the family. I love the horror storys about the houses eapicaly when done well, I'm not a fan of gore and blood and the stories you guys make are at level with 'The Conguring' 'IT' and 'Stranger Things'.
@@magesticcrab2164 Wow! Thanks for the love!
I could have watched another ten hours of this format of storytelling. Getting little tastes of the various styles of films especially the old black and white style horror and the Unsolved Mysteries style-- all while getting a cohesive story-- such fun! I hope to see more like this.
Hey Guys! One of the producers here. Tell us which one was your favorite episode.
All of them. 🖤
Yup all of them!!
The first one!
Yes all of them for sure...... AlTeR it was an overdose
Hi dude,
Thx for nice and new kind of haunted house in the different way of the interpretation ... Personally, I like 'LET US IN' in the idea to have the actual people being willing to live in the house and need to lure the victims to feed the house too. It's very cool and unique idea.
That was treemendous. I wood have branched off, maybe embarking on the root instead of sticking with it or leafing it to conker, But don't pine, the plant had va[r]nished.
too funny!
FANTASTIC!!! I loved the intertwined story lines, the campy feel, the acting, set design...BRAVO!!!!
Renee! Thank you so much!
@@levismock8919 Thank YOU!! That was a fantastically entertaining ride, Lord knows we need it now!!
@@reneebrady8389 yh, it was really amazing!......but it seems to me like u spent a lot of time camping. am I right?!!😉
The animated story in the beginning reminded me of "the monster house" 😂
"Let us in" had cool twists.
Right Marko and Shane knocked it out on that one. Cory Warner's cinematography was beautiful as well!
This collection is pure magic. Each episode could stand alone as a well written and well shot short film. I love the connection between all of them and the originality of the series as a whole. Well done all who are involved.
Thanks Mia. We are extremely proud of it.
Great ...the Horror universe needs more anthology series. Something for everyone
We thought so too. We hope to get to make more of them soon!
That was the best half hour of entertainment I've had since quarantine began! The first two were my favorites, but all were really good. Campy, scary, intertwined stories...I loved it! Would have gladly watched four more episodes!
So excited to hear it! I was really hoping this would lift some spirits during this crazy time.
15:50 Richard gives me Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible Vibes.
13:28 His reaction was too funny 😂 but I wished the ghost spared the cameraman at least he had some sense.
House don't spare no body
An empty theater, yeah that's not suspicious
Wanna check out a movie sometime?
@@TheGunsling3r 😂
covid-19, remember?
@@TheGunsling3r that reply was so smooth ray I nearly slide out the comments section
Hi Taunja... you are looking beautiful.
Really wish to see this TREE concept becoming the featured film in the future ... It's unique that the haunted deeds this time are from the woods of the tree itself (which are used to construct the house) , instead of the haunted ghosts at the place like in typical horror movies.
PS: the film in the second short should be called 'The Horn', instead of 'The House' since it makes the audiences be horny every time watching the film.
PS2: the futuristic one is kind of ... out of theme a bit ... It may be my least favourite one.
We'd love to make this a feature film in the future.
The second short is called “The Projectionist”. The film that the kids were watching is called the House which I’m guessing is a reference to the house that was made from the tree.
@@levismock8919 Bravo!! Loved it all. The opening was fantastic. Story explained perfectly The news reporter was my favorite actor. Seemed so unrehearsed. To me this is also kind of a 1st. We never see what happens to these evil houses and spirits in the far off future. I always wondered if it just dies off on its own or something, but alas..... Evil never dies Lol. Thank you!
@@JC-uj3zj Really glad you felt that way. We definitely wanted to explore what happened to the house in a future setting. Kevin (reporter) is one of my favorite actors in general. Had him in mind when I wrote that piece so I was really pleased that he was able to do it.
@@levismock8919 I really liked the reporter character. It may sound insincere given how little he did, but I personally thought he was a great character in a weak setting, especially the moment where he said "Which leaves me no choice. I have to investigate." Which was crazy but very interesting choice. I always liked characters who were ready to adventure and willingly advance into the story due to a strong motive, even if they were morally grey or immoral. I was sad when he got killed off right after that, as I would have liked to have seen him advance more and how he interacts with the setting.
I thought the cultists were the only characters who were more interesting, primarily because how the air of the parents suddenly changed and we got to see they were interacting with the settinh in their own interesting way.
I thought the space crew were the least interesting because no one had a strong motive to be there or advance the story, meaninh there were practically no characters, this relying too much on the setting and visuals to carry the plot. It was like seeing robots being destroyed.
i always look forward to watching a new video from ALTER!!! It's always a great start to my day!
We love to hear it! Stay ALTERed.
Who else was obsessed with Unsolved Mysteries way back in the day?? It definitely felt like that vibe! I really like this series!
ALTER=THE BEST........dude....i don’t even know what to say....Alter is great at EVERYTHING you name it!
Thank you for watching Dorita! We're happy to hear how much you love ALTER.
ALTER and i’m HAPPY to see you replied!!🥳🥳🥳
I need more of this! The concept is amazing and I need more backstory
It would be a blast to do a follow up one day.
From a true horror enthusiast, and self-proclaimed anthology- connoisseur. This was a real treat. Please keep it up
The Projectionist and the Unexplained Phenomena were my favorites, but I loved it all. It was satisfying although of course my mind is working overtime to connect every episode within the same universe. This was awesome, great job!
I love your short horror films from Dollmaker to Childer to La Noria. Each one is more chilling, thrilling and nail biting then the last and they are all so different. What I want to say is this channel is an original anthology series all on it’s own.😊
Love, love, loved it!
Alter, I am ecstatic to be altered by you on a weekly basis.
You have made this quarantine go by so much better.
Thanks Alter for all that you do for my horror addiction.
😍😍😍😍😍
Thanks for the love!
Wow... I guess I indeed deserve to be disturbed for watching Alter. This is one hell of the good work! And also the concept of this... evil tree that also regenerated itself on the end was really amazing.
I get more fun out of short stories than I do out of feature length movie! These were awesome! Thanks again ALTER for an awesome good time!
I absolutely love this! Thanks for sharing it with all your ALTERed devotees!
Why would I need a Netflix subscription when I have ALTER to indulge me. The mini stories all had their own unique style. Different era's, different styles. The futuristic last one was constrained a little though by the budget. As usual the standard is high and all free too. You are very generous to us lol.
You don't need it if you've got Alter! So happy that you liked all of our filmmakers personal touches and unique gifts!
Some of these filmmakers will definitely shine in the future no doubt about it. I'm just pleased to see all their creativity for free :)
The human condition is such a powerful theme to use especially in a horror channel! :)
Yep so true
Hey Devo! We think so too!
Levi Smock hey
@@levismock8919 Each episode is so thought provoking that I cannot choose which one is my favorite.!:)
@@dv5071 That's okay. I love'em all too.
In my opinion as a horror buff and a Halloweenie.
I think that this should be on TV.
Tales from the crypt, twilight zone,The beyond are You afraid of the Dark,
Outer limits, Thriller and shows like that are awesome.
There are so many more stories that could go with this house.
I think it's really cool
Omg I loved the 3rd one. An "empowerment group"?! I absolutely love the comedy being worked in without making it cheesy or slapstick. Fabulous!
Genesis starts with the tree... and then starts again, with the tree. Love it!
Alter you have been hitting it out of the park these last couple weeks. this was so flippin epic! love the anthology story telling
Thanks for watching Mike! We're just doing what we can to provide a home for talented filmmakers and a place where horror fans can still get together and chat all things scary together. 🖤
Thanks so much Mike! This was a blast to make and we are so happy to get to share it.
This was so fabulous! Great storytelling and I liked the acting all the way through. Was sorry when it ended.
this was amazinggg ty! 💖
Not even a minute in and I was like 👀👀👀
👀👀👀
So the tree is like an evil Tardis lol. Loved it. Great little film.
The last one is my absolute favourite.... it's put together everything in the end .... It shows that the haunt of the tree is never ending.
This was a.... Spiritual experience for me. This easily became my favorite video from ALTER. I was looking forward to this video and I got more than what I expected. Thank you ALTER 💖💖💖
Thanks Animus. It's easily the most fun I've ever had working on a project!
@@levismock8919 Hope to see more from you guys!
The house one, where the entire house appears on a vacant lot out of nowhere, reminds me of a phenomenon in my neighborhood where a 50ft tree appeared in the tiny front yard of my neighbor. Completely overnight. There's never been one there before. She uses the small front lawn for a flower garden because it gets direct sun most of the day. No one knows why it's there, when it got there, and so on. No one recalls it growing. That's not the first time a tree has appeared in an empty front yard on my street. We've all made peace with the phantom trees that just add themselves to the front yards around here. My state (Massachusetts) is notoriously weird anyway.
DAMN ALTER I LOVE U GUYS!!!!!#💯💯💯💯
We love you all too! 🖤
The animation of The Tree was really interesting and unique! I loved it
That's what I'm talking about! This is what I would call an epic short. How they managed to get 4 movies in 22 minutes is utterly amazing.
Loved the end of Unexplained Phenomena, they way the studio crew were actually emotional. Maybe they were sad for the camera guy :)
Also, I'm with Rosemary, that basement loooked AWESOME.
Nice work on everything!
Haven't watched any horror in a minute so I'm binging on Alter rn. Loving all of them, thanks guys 💞
Fantastic! Amazing concept. Each of the shorts could be a stand alone film. Great acting all round.
Okay watching these short films are WAY better than watching a full 1 or 2 hour “horror” film
That was superb. Each episode was great. Hated to see it end. What a film.
this was epic.....simply amazing!!! need more of these!😉
Thanks so much!
They were all original and entertaining. But the first and third one were the best. Really enjoy these. Thanks for making them!!
Thanks for enjoying them! We LOVED making them.
This is good. Loved the beginning, and then had the death do us part intro, totally wicked
I can’t just choose one! They are all amazing and fit together perfectly! Reminds me of the first season of American Horror Story!
I really enjoyed each one of these small chapters of the movie. Really good stories! Awesome job!
This is why I love watching you guys I’m starting to talk to my girlfriend about you guys and she will be shocked to watch these you guys are amazing thank you for everything you have done keep up the amazing work!!! ❤️
I’ve been binging all of alter since quarantine
Amazing story!! Loved every one of them. True horror classic! Really impressed!
Mind blowing, fabulous, awesome, mesmerising can’t explain in words one of the Best series of Alter till now❤️❤️❤️
Omg this was magnificent!!! My fave was the last one but I like them all! Second fave one where the 2 dressed up went into house & it backfired on them! Ty 4 sharing Alter!!!
One of the best things I've ever watched. Absolutely incredible storytelling.
By far the best I have seen here you deserve more subscribers you guys!!!
Dear Alter..........You've outdone yourselves this time!! I love anthology horror and this format set around the Tree was amazing. This could easily have been a feature film and I would have paid to watch it, I hope a sequel is in the works :)
It would be fun to make a feature version!
This is too awesome not to be considered for the big screen . I enjoyed every episode 😍 Much needed treat !!!! ❤️ALTER❤️
Thanks for the love!!
This is still my favorite film out of all the short films feature on this channel. I just wish that a continuation film was made for the second film in this anthology.
Ahhh I love this! This should have waaaaayy more likes. You guys are amazing 👍
Excellent fkn job on ALL OF the stories, and salute to not being too scared or short on artistic ideas! Will be doing one myself soon.
Definitely an ALTER favorite!!!!
I think the last one could've been done better but as a whole I love the themes. Also loved the artwork in between the episodes.
Absolutely obsessed with the first bit's soundtrack
Wonderful short film, through and through, I would've gladly paid money for this!
I liked how the story wove throughout time and space. Had a giggle at the space suits - looked like they were trimmed with tin foil!
That was AMAZING just what I thought it was going to be thank you so much please make more like this
We'd love to!
Loved this one, really great concept for the tree, the ending was especially nifty.
The is actually part of a wider anthology released on Hulu.
This is true. It was "The House" as part of Huluween, but the producers (Levi Smock - who's in the comments - and Chris Bernier) brought it our way so we could share it with all the ALTERed people.
I knew I saw this before just could not remember where you are right!
I knew I had seen some of this before!
Yes, and thank you!
I am starting to become in awe of Alter the more I watch it...just finished watching The Tree and this short film is packed with more originality than some of the BIGGER films, with each of the films themselves pretty darn good in their own, with Unexplained Phenomena being my fav since I'm ghost story guy.
Thomas thanks so much for the praise! We loved making it and hope we can make more for you in the future.
Give them there own show oready
No argument here.:)
I agree
lol, I loved the "Unsolved Mysteries" take on this short haha, good stuff
Very well done. My house is so bright, that I had to watch this under a dark blanket to see all the night scenes. My family thinks I’m crazy, because all they can hear is a lot of screaming and eerie soundtrack coming from under the blanket. Great fun!
P q0qq
This is the first time I've ever written a comment and I've seen quite a few. *This is STUNNINGLY good and with creative concept & content that just never gives up in psychological thrills* . I especially love "Projector". THANK YOU for the few that are not blood gore, cannibals .. I'm SO sick of this OVERDONE eating humans, vampires, zombies .. and all of this apocalyptic, depressing, shadowy films.. IMO Do filmmakers do this because they have no creative spark?
Thanks so much Martha. It was a really great experience for us and we are so happy that Alter helped us share it with you!
My sweetheart is out of town for three days..so I have to watch alone..I miss her😭😭😔😔.. anyway story concept is good..78% credit given
@Michael 😔😔
@Hayley Honor 😨😨😔😔
This was Amazing!! I loved the interwoven storylines!! ❤
Thanks Jewel! We aim to please :)
Whoooa ALTER thats the best of u it actually gave me continuous goosebumps ALTER IS BEST FOR THESE MOVIES 👌
I have no words to describe the pleasure and delight I felt after watching this as a horror fan. Loved it!! absolutely loved it! Bless you Alter! May you grow into a big production house like WB. (Btw big fan)
Thanks you! It means a lot to hear you say so!
Soy feliz porque encontré este canal!!! Me encanta :) y este video en particular excelente me encanto la introducción animada 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Good good excellent..
Anthology series of horror..
The best Channel of horror
I swear your short movies are so much better than those crappy hollywood horror films with no strong storyline and direction.
Now unlike many other videos, these were very good short stories!
Episode 2 ,3, 4 & kinda 5 seemed fun. I really love horror anthologies.
We love horror anthologies too! We have one that's produced by Sam Raimi on Quibi called 50 STATES OF FRIGHT. You should get the app for 14 days free and check it out. 👀
ALTER I finally checked out 50 states of fright, it was great!!!!
This was the weirdest trip I've ever been on. I love it!😁
They should do more like this. I loved it!!
Brilliant! I'm a sucker for the anthology style horror film, and this one was incredibly well done and creative!
I think alter in 3 years coming..doing shorts horror ..will make success like netflex....good job....
This brings back memories of Roger Corman Presents when I was a kid. Loved all of it.
That was a great opening!
Thanks!
