A surprising amount of activity for such a short train! You could easily see where the additional ballast was needed, makes quite a difference. Well done James.
The line only continues about half a kilometre past Bullarto in the direction of Melbourne. It used to connect with the Melbourne - Bendigo mainline at Carlsruhe about 30km away, but the line was dismantled in the late 1980's leaving the 9km section to Daylesford isolated from the rest of the rail network. Also, thanks to everyone for their feedback/comments.

Hola: Muy bonito reportaje de los trenes en Australia. Y llevo viendo unos cuantos de Usted. Muchas gracias por el envío
It's a Clyde/EMD G6B diesel electric with a 6-645E engine, although after looking at some videos of the Hymeks, I can see where you're coming from.
Now we just need to tamp the track and run the regulator over it. Hopefully public trains should return to Bullarto by the end of the year.
Nice!
In the clip starting at 01:19 it kinda sounds like a Hymek
Interesting video. What is beyond Bullarto? Did the railway go any further?
I was wondering how prone that plough is to derailing? Certainly one of the smaller ballast plough wagons I've seen. Great video.

Looks a lot like gembrook at bullarto
Well its mountain scenery and a high rainfall area. Vegitation would be pretty similar.
Do these people
have Safeworking.
Hmmm, smoothie tyres on the loader. Buy some new tyres!
Do you have any idea how much the tyres on a 13 ton loader are worth? Around $1500 - $2000 each .
