It definitely was! It was filmed in October in Canada - night time especially is cold! But since the film is supposed to take place in the summer they all had to act like it wasn’t cold at all

Camp rocks song was so much more meaningful and heartwarming than camp star’s song. Like it gave me the feels as a kid. It was also more inclusive, they included the whole camp while camp star only focused on literally two people. Team camp rock. Don’t come for me
Agreed Camp Rock fought the hardest and didn't go too easy at all. I loved Camp Star but for me Camp Rock was just better because I prefer a meaningful song over a fun song. Camp Rock was all about getting together and making people happy and not focusing on careers. That should be what it's about. Watching this made me feel happy when they made the kids feel happy and made my heart melt.

I just preferred passionate over fun performance. I want to feel something. I want to feel the emotions and I felt that from Camp Rock video. Camp Star were great yes but I felt nothing. I felt no passion or emotions. For Camp Rock I felt like they actually worked the hardest. Some people preferred Camp Star and some people preferred Camp Rock. At the end of the day Camp Rock still wins because they didn't close down the camp because of Camp Star winning. People came back to join the camp. Maybe they felt that Camp Rock deserved to win. I go for the one that works the hardest out of all and I went for Camp Rock because of the passion and emotions is the most important.
rewatching this movie as an adult I realized how lackluster camp star's song really was. they didn't hardly dance, the effects they were supposed to be so good at were pretty much nonexistent, and the song was just kinda meh overall. their bonfire song at the beginning was better than their final song, which to me doesn't make much sense, but that's just my opinion 🤗
I love how they gave it all they got showing everyone’s talent.

Camp Rock's song was about the love they feel for their camp...yes Camp Star's song is definitely a jam, but Camp Rock's song is a lot more meaningful which is why I believe they deserved the win, and that's why I hated that they lost
But they didn't, they may have lost a battle but the won the war. Make sure you watch the ending

The song was alright ! Camp star definitely deserved that win it was a much better song then this and the performance was overall better
I mean there is a performance factor considering they are performing live and Camp Star blew them out in that regard, it really wasn't close
I 100% agree. I loved Camp Star but I have to be honest. Camp Rock worked the hardest between them with longer rehearsal hours. Camp Star was focused on having fun, dancing, all about production, while Camp Rock was all about working hard, meaningful lyrics, passions, emotions, making people smile and tearing up. They didn't care for the production but they cared about making people happy. They focused on what people wanted the most. This made me smile and tear up. I felt so connected with the lyrics and I relate to it. This song was the better one too and they deserved to win over Camp Star which I can honestly say that with full of truths. I don't go for production, career, and money. I go for passion, emotions, meaningful lyrics, and those who work the hardest. That's why I rooted for Camp Rock over Camp Star. They were the better ones, better than Camp Star and no one can change my mind or my opinions or my facts. I stand by them no matter what anyone says. They can't tell me that Camp Star worked the hardest or that they were better because I don't agree with that. I don't change my own thoughts. Camp Rock were the best and poured their hearts into the song. I love this song way more than Camp Star's song, end of story. Some prefers Camp Star and some prefers Camp Rock and this performance was much better than Camp Star's performance to be honest for me and they blew Camp Star out of the water. So to us Camp Rock won in our eyes and hearts.
This was legit my favorite song in Camp Rock 2 ever omg! Camp Star was great but Camp Rock was better for me. Seeing them make the kids happy made me feel happy and that was more important. I loved how they didn't go too easy. They came to win and fought hard. That was just wow amazing!

This was definitely the highlight of the movie. I was so bored I just wanted it to be over but the fun camp scenes in the background touched my heart.

It was definitely cold! This was filmed in September/October 2009 in Ontario, Canada. They had to wear summery outfits because it’s supposed to take place at a summer camp - but Canada in the fall is chilly!

They came here for win everyone’s heart and they did it. For me Camp Rock won in my heart. Camp Star was better with dance / music and costumes but the real summer music camp is definitely Camp Rock. They showed us what a summer camp can be not just with cool music or costumes. If Camp Star’s founder trust himself and his camp in that competiton thing than he wouldn’t touch the votes in the beginning so ... :)
When you lose the battle of "Camp Wars," but end up winning the actual war by taking all of Camp Star's campers cause you showed yourself as the more fun camp XD

Camp Star song sounded generic af. Camp Rock was a little generic but had way better vibes and charm. I have say though like could they come up with some sort of choro. Star's dancing was so slick and Rock had people clapping, swaying, and jump for like 80% of the choro. Rock looked like Children not artists.

Esos años fueron los mejores de 2011 en adelante como que el canal ya no fue lo mismo y en 2015 ya desconoci el canal además es porque crecí
