May you please take care of making Undaunted Reinforcement approachable to order in Amazon USA, exactly like its siblings?
They keep publishing games, but doesn't the purpose is taking care that they will remain in stock so the community will be able to enjoy them?

That 'target' symbol is the symbol of the RAF.
There's different styles to it that denote the type of aircraft, and it's designed that way to be easily seen and recognised from the ground + air
Except I believe that roundel belongs to Latvia, not the RAF. Was Osprey trying to save money with their printing?
Tom also complained that the LRDG scorpion symbol in Undaunted:North Africa seemed too "bad guy". lol. It's like nah, they're just badass! History, y'all.
I thought it was something to do with the RAF symbol being trade marked or something.
@@diecyclingAll their card backs are monochrome (white on colour background). If you apply that to the RAF roundel then this is what you get, but it definitely works less well than other symbols (like the iron cross)

preordered, and cannot wait! My grandmother would watch dog fights from her house during the battle of Britain. Her house was hit my a bomb too, amazingly not injuring her or her family.
This looks good. I will add to my Undaunted collection. Another pretty simple but fun dogfighting game is Fighters of the Pacific.
Fighters of the Pacific looks amazing, but almost impossible to get in Europe.

For games like this, I often resort to using mini's from the Axis and Allies Miniatures game, assuming you can get the correct pieces that relate to the in-game unit it's standing in for.
I've only played Undaunted Normandy so far, but absolutely loving it. Happy I got into it late, because there's so much to look forward to and it's all already out.
Does this have solo rules to go with the reinforcement rules?
I hope they do release minis for the undaunted series.
Arriving in June for me. I saw a playthrough somewhere and it looks like it could get tense. Lots of opportunity for deception and trickery!
I'd love to see Tom's thoughts on Fighters of the Pacific and/or Fighters of Europe.
Solid review, and nice explanation of the new things in the Undaunted series, but why just 8.5 points? I didn't see any kind of critism that would lower the score

I have the minis for these planes to scale from a game that has very weak rule set. Sounds like I get this game and I can use my mini's, win win !

It looks cool but for some reason, my brain has trouble grasping the rulebook of the previous games and Im afraid it'll be the same with this game.
Then again, this version looks easier to grasp
Funny how great this system works, cant wait to see for myself how good it is with airplanes.
doesn't look as interesting as other Undaunted boxes tbh. Prefer having thematic connection between cards and soldiers, and lot of interaction with the terrain... this is basically a hex grid
So after the gradual scenarios you do reach a sense of 'so few vs so many'? or it's not that realistic?
Because if it does give you the historical sense - isn't it weird playing the nazi side? (it's always my question in undaunted andmemoir 44, etc. - I mean, I get how we can just look at it as a battle that may be based on something historical but that history doesn't come across except for the initial setup, but still... the more famous the battle is...)

For real. Those are some of the best games I've played in years.
It's a shame they used an old WW1 warship in that counter you had on the board. No British or German ship had heavy calibre guns in wing turrets in WW2.
Let's be clear, this is the Battle of Britain, therefore they are not airplanes, they are _aeroplanes._

The dice tower needs to review Star Trek Alliance. There are two box sets out now with a third on the way. Those games are too good not to be featured on this channel!
These games sound great. I wish they had a fantasy or sci Fi theme as historical war is not interesting to me and a turn off for many in our group.

Made up of tiles, the map is flimsy. 4:10
They have it on a smooth slippery surface, ofc it will move when someone heavyhandedly messes with counters. From the unboxing vid I saw it's decently thick cardboard, on a cloth/felt surface it will be same as any other decently produced game.
4:08 is where I lost interest. Board falls apart moving one piece.
Watch the Gaming Rules playthrough - no board movement at all. I think Tom has fat finger syndrome.
I dont expect Tom to have any in depth knowledge of the Battle of Britain, but that box cover is just too cringy. Yes diversity is a great thing, but it’s obvious here that it’s done commercially. No Indian pilots flew in the Battle of Britain 🤷♂️

Indian pilots did fight in the Battle of Britain, such as Mohinder Singh Pujji (whom this may be based on).
There were also a number of black pilots from the Carribbean who fought, in addition to the more famous Polish, Czechoslovakian etc. volunteers.
@@bighamster2 Mohindet Singh Pujji arrived in Liverpool Oct 1st 1940. Put directly to training and received his wings in April 1941, flying his first active service in June 1941. He did not fly in the Battle of Britain campaign that took place July-October of 1940. No Indians flew in the Battle of Britain. It’s just facts 🤷♂️
Undaunted is a cool light wargame system with a really terrible combat system. I was hoping they would finally change it in this iteration, but alas. Wargames have developed a lot better combat resolution systems in the last decade, and its d10 based system is just too random.
This game is essentially a deck builder, so not really a war game the same as all Undaunted series. So of course the combat is simple
half the video is "final thoughts"...
Seems boring compared to X-wing or the other Undaunted games. I will pass on this one.
