They JUST patched the game so the controls are much more responsive, the enemies are far less cheap, and it's easier to stack up extra lives. When this was first released, you only got 2 lives per stage, there was heavy control lag, enemies would hound you, and food items were very rare. The Stage 2 Boss was extremely difficult and constantly spammed invincibility attacks. Now it plays MUCH better and the original soundtrack is included. It's actually fun to play!!!!
The music from this stage at 15:25 is the most redeeming part of this. Always liked that track and even though the game is kinda mid they hooked it up.
I prefer the original soundtrack in parts,and also what is happening with the sounds?! When you grab an enemy and pin him down with suplex you don't hear anything,just a really small thumb,thing that doesn't give you the impact needed! Also i would love to include the original version of the game also!
Was totally into the SOR4 art style bc they fully reimagined everything… this just looks like they traced over the og game and it just doesnt look right to me. Id prefer the original look for sure but if it plays well, maybe its still worth a look.
