I love your drawings of the Chickadees, Fish and the Hare. You are very talented and I can understand why your art sells. Well done and thanks for posting your paint pours x
Your embellishments are just amazing! That rabbit is so darn cute lol. I love your chickadees too, especially since we have them in our backyard! I love the ribbon pour as always. It may seem simple to you but I've tried it and it's not as simple as it looks for me anyway. Your lines always flow so smoothly!!!
I believe I’ve seen all your embellishments and gotta say I never tire of viewing them again and again, as T hey are just beautiful. Great ribbon pour here, love the colors. ❤
Sometimes knowing when to stop is the hardest part. I love this Chris. The colors are so pretty and the sides too. And your embellishments are amazing. That rabbit looks so real like he could just hop off the canvas. 🐇🐰
Chris! Wow! I love seeing some of the return to "basics" styles I've seen lately. This is right up at the top of the list. I'll have to try that pouring medium out. Your embellished pieces were stunning. I'm sharing this with a friend who has a koi pond. ❤ Happy Easter!
Wow! I just found your channel. Love what I see. I’ve never done a pour and have been watching videos to learn. Talking about what paints and the recipe was great info. Your work is amazing. Thx
Yup..it's a great piece.😊 Love your ribbon pours. 😁😘 I would be interested in print copies ( 1 of each..birds of a feather flock together😄)of the little chickadees in the ribbon pour. So adorable. Happy Easter🐰
Love it 🥰! I wanted to reach out and grab you when I saw you grab that cup again! 😂😂 And those paintings you showed in the beginning were absolutely beautiful! The chick-a-dees are my favorite!!!!! ❤ ✌️💜😊
Oh, I wish I'd saved some of the colors I made up like this to do your Australian floetrol swipe! I only made up a very small amount of paint and I had to do two paintings with them...so I feel your pain😅. The second one I did on an old canvas that had black and white on it and I did a swipe down the middle. I wish I'd seen this video first! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to mix up some more paint😅. If they turn out good I'll send you a picture 😁. I need to add some lines on the first one. I'm to chicken to add the lines while the paint is wet. Love this painting Chris!😊 Happy Easter!🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
Love the pastel colors on the black. Yes and you really did stop! (I think.) Do you have the prices for your prints on your website? Sooner or later I want to get one of your paintings. Of course, I may have to build more walls or take down some. Happy Easter 🐇🐣 Chris!
Thanks Paula! I haven't updated my website in a while...need to make time! When I do I'll announce on a video, so stay tuned! But for example, an 8x8 would be $20...I'll show some examples on a video soon. So cute!
Gosh, how I wish I could paint animals as you do! The hare and the chickadees are wonderful, as are the horses. Can you please tell me what your black base is in the ribbon pour? Is it something you mix, or from a can of commercial paint? Thank you for your time, Susan H.
I am sorry to be so late in replying. I am a senior and forgot to check for your answer. Thank you for taking the time; I'll give this a try as soon as I can buy the rest of the ready-to-pour A.L. paints!
This is beautiful!! May I ask you a non related question though. I remember you used to use a pouring medium with gloss varnish in it. Well this morning when I was making my paints, I used my usual floetrol, gac 800 and liquitex, then I added a small dollop of Jo Sonja gloss varnish to it. It looks really pretty but do you think that will be OK? I'm worried I may have wasted a lot of paint. Do you have to make the paint thinner? I like my paint on the thicker side and my reasoning was that the gloss varnish would make it more slippery like they use for blooms.
That's a complicated question! LOL. I really don't know...there are so many variables. I still use the polycrylic mix when doing ring and ribbon pours (AL ready mixed paints work well too). I use a gloss medium and varnish in the mix when I use cells for silicone. I always give the exact recipe in the description box as it varies from technique to technique. Does that help??
Well, initially my thought was it was more economical because they're not inexpensive. However, after factoring in the rising cost of Floetrol and glue, it may not be the case! LOL. BUT, I do like the results I get, especially when adding silicone...love the cells (don't careforthe cells you get when adding straight from the bottle). Check my playlists for Artists Loft Ready-Mixed for more. 😊
Im in LOVE with your work! and I totally appreciate your recipes in the description. Thank you from a beginner!! Question....If I dont have ready mixed pouring paints for this and a few other ribbon pours that you did, what recipe do I use? Thanks so much!!
Thanks Emily! I don't always use ready mixed for ribbon pours...I have a whole playlist for ribbon pours, recipes included. The trick is to keep your mix kind of thick so the ribbons hold. I have the best success with my Polycrylic mix.
@@ChrisJeszeck Now Im totally confused lol. I could have sworn last week, all the ribbon puts I watched had the Polycrylic mix. And now the only ones I see are glue and Floetrol? And I am having trouble finding the playlist on ribbon pours. Am I losing it??
I made a video on framing tips and tricks you may find helpful...find it in my playlists under "Miscellaneous", but I get them from wholesaleartsframes.com 😊

I just love your ribbon pours I tried it my consistency was good in the cup but as I poured it got runny any suggestions on what went wrong
Are you using my recipe and ratios? If not, I think your mix must have been too thin. 🤔
Besides your gorgeous art, I love your frames. Do you mind sharing where you get them from?
I made a video on framing tips and tricks you may find helpful...find it in my playlists under "Miscellaneous", but I get them from wholesaleartsframes.com 😊

Where do you get prints made?
They're canvas prints, not expensive giclees, and I get them made at various places; often I use canvasdiscount.com
Do you ever get cells on ribbon pours?
Sometimes, if using metallics, but in general I don't want them in these types of pours. 😉
Thank you
Wow your embellishment are gorgeous. Can your do a video next time?
Thank you...check my playlists for "Embellishments"...I have 46 videos there. 😘

Did you use metallics? They tend to cell up on their own. I didn't use any in this pour...
