You should make a list of the top 10 non Disney princesses!!!!
Facilier, who didn’t make the cut…
Yzma and Kronk practically stole the entire show away from Kuzco and Pacha, with Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton clearly having a blast hamming it up.
Absolutely no one steals the show like Don Karnage and Megavolt, because both wear pants amid several enemies who don't.
Yzma is the best!! 😂
@@sunnyjohnson992 She is a hoot. And I’m glad Kronk managed to establish his own identity separate from being Yama’s henchman. He definitely has an F in evil. Although there is one thing that bugs me…his last name. It’s an Ashkenazi Jewish sounding surname and some people on TVTropes suggested he’s a descendant of a Converso but Conversos were more of a Sephardic identity so he can’t be a Converso. Maybe I’m overthinking things.
So true!!!!
"As kids, we idolize the heroes.
As adults, we understand the villains."
Hades' humor, anger management issues, and hating his job are all so reliable to me and thousands of others, and part of why he's persisted as one of the greatest Disney villains to this day.
You know that most of the things of Hades in Disney are nothing like the real Hades of Greek mythology?
Thank you so much for your support! :)
@@MsMojo no problem im happy to give my support concerning topics that i know
Yzma is hands down the best Disney villain. I was rooting for her the entire time because Kuzco was so annoying.
yes! and kronk, too..😂😂😂
I think Prof. Callaghan from Big Hero 6 would have deserved a spot on the list. The man wanted to punish the guy who is responsible for his daughter's death. That's a pretty relatable motivation.
Yeah. People dislike him as a villain (usually because he was mean to their Tumblr sexyman uwu), but his fall into villainy was understandable. Also, Krei was a smug prick and he frankly needed to be taken down a notch.
You mean disappearance
@@olvialee7221 The fact that she had survived was a surprise to everyone, including him.
That's the only relatable thing about him comapred to other villains on the list
Yzma has been and always will be my spirit animal!!! Rest in power Eartha Kitt!!!! "Is there anything on this menu that is not swimming in Gravy?????" "Wrong Lever!!!!!'😂😂😂😂😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
I love Eartha Kitt as Yzma too
She's funny as fuck!!! 🤣🤣🤣
My spirit animal is the red wolf on account of Don Karnage, because he wears pants amid several enemies who don't. Megavolt is one of few to match that.
Syndrome was a man-child that was still following his childhood dream. But as for letting him down easy, I would've said that he's too young and inexperienced. He did say he didn't need training. Mr. Incredible moves and fighting styles r just a small portion. So that and his age would've gotten him killed very easily.
My favorite fact about Hades is that all these other actors came in and played Hades as menacing, then James Woods comes in and plays him like a used car salesman, and that's what they stuck with. I love it
I can imagine how many people connect to Hades as their spirit animal. Especially with those personality traits😂
The two Disney villains who I connect tightly to are Don Karnage and Megavolt, because both wear pants amid several enemies who don't.
Bonus points for the Olympian Gods being capable of shapeshifting into animals in Greek mythology.
It’s a shame that Treasure Planet is underrated because Silver is a very relatable villain and important character. He becomes a surrogate father to Jim, despite being the reason he and his mother lose their home and having false motives for the voyage, when Jim’s spent his teen years without a father. Plus, I love having a disabled character and how they address it, showing how people can judge those who are different, but Silver is still capable of doing things and I love the animation with his mechanical arm and the many features it has. That representation is perfect
Even though she’s not a movie villain, Shego is another relatable villain as she’s one of the most moody which many can relate to in that sense.
Cartoon villains most reminiscent of me are ones who wear pants amid several enemies who don't, such as Don Karnage and Megavolt.
I love the fact that a lot of Disney ‘Villains’ are Queercoded. Ursula is the most campy obviously considering the inspiration was a Drag Queen.
That's why she's Disney's only plus size villain.
Plus, with Sid from Toy Story...it could potentially be implied that he has a rough childhood and maybe an abusive father given the fact their dog seems to be afraid of going near the dad as well as the fact Sid has multiple locks installed on his bedroom door.
And there are a lot of cans scattered around him
He is not really a villain. He was just mean and rude and destructive to his toys.
Good list. Actually according to Kuzco, "now lately, Yzma has gotten into this bad habit" and he said to her "you were doing it AGAIN", meaning that she "took charge without acknowledging" more than once.
Came to the comments and was about to type that exact thing. xD
@@LaughingGun92 I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed and wanted to point it out.
Kuzco is mistaken though, Yzma has every right to do her "bad habit" because *that's basically YZMA'S JOB DESCRIPTION as the REGENT* since *Kuzco was still a minor* up until the point in the movie ("eve of his 18th birthday")
though you may be right that Yzma's actual sin was *not fully informing her boss of her accomplishments and progress report*
@@user-ix1rp9ff3p I'm not bringing her reasons into the picture, all I'm merely pointing out is that that wasn't the first time she took charge. That's all.
The most relatable part of Goob is that he never got over that baseball game and believed that everyone hated him when they didn't care about that anymore
Yzma and Hades are the mood ✔️
#20: John Silver (Treasure Planet)
#19: Captain Gantu (Lilo & Stitch)
#18: Henry J. Waternoose (Monsters, Inc.)
#17: Stinky Pete the Prospector (Tody Story 2)
#16: Shere Khan (The Jungle Book)
#15: Randall Boggs (Monsters, Inc. & Monsters University)
#14: Chef Skinner (Ratatouille)
#13: Gabby Gabby (Toy Story 4)
#12: Michael “Goob” Yagoobian (a.k.a. Bowler Hat Guy) (Meet the Robinsons)
#11: Ursula (The Little Mermaid)
#10: Sid Philips (Toy Story)
#9: Jafar (Aladdin)
#8: Captain Hook (Peter Pan)
#7: Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
#6: Syndrome (The Incredibles)
#5: Scar (The Lion King)
#4: Edgar Balthazar (The Aristocats)
#3: Mother Gothel (Tangled)
#2: Yzma (The Emperor’s New Groove)
#1: Hades (Hercules)
That's one of my many favorite things about these particular Disney villains, Because one of the many things that Disney never fails to do is make villains relatable!
Especially, Don Karnage and Megavolt.
192: Mother Gothel. The worst villain ever for her actions. I don’t know how many times I’ve bought this up but she’s an actual mother in the Disney animation canon to have a daughter named Cassandra, even though she was cut from the movie and everyone wouldn’t see this character as anyone’s mom. When she kidnapped the princess for selfish deeds, she left her daughter and pursuit her goals as a woman with the youth potion from the Princess’s hair
Gothel ended up on this list??
Ok, I'm sure we're all totally against kidnapping an infant girl from her parents who has magic rejuvinating powers in her hair, but isolating Rapunzel in a tower for 18 years of her life via Stockholm Syndrome still is an inexcusable crime and in no way "relatable".
And let's not forget, in the _Rapunzel Tangled Adventures_ tie-in series, Gothel abandonded her unwanted daughter Cassandra the very night she absconded Rapunzel.
Yeah sorry, there is nothing relatable or redeemable about Mother Gothel. She's a selfish, gaslighting narcissist.
Gothel should not be on that list - she is a perfect example of either narcissistic or borderline personality disorder - manipulative, horrible, selfish and gas-lighting. She sees people as a means to an end with no compassion for anyone other than herself. I recall sitting in the theatre with my skin just crawling every time she was on the screen. She is only relatable if you also see other people as existing to serve your needs.
@@denejean As a child of someone like Gothel, THANK YOU. I thought I was losing my everloving mind for a minute. Relateable???
Sorry to hear that @@darcym9638. My husband is also a child of someone like Gothel. It is a lot to recover from. Wishing you a better perspective on the world than your parent.
I didn’t think Skinner was the villain, per se, of Ratatouille until he kidnapped Remy, since he was suspicious of Linguine and tried figuring it out
#3 Mother Gothel relatable? Hardly. If I grow old, then I’ll deal with it with dignity, acceptance, and grace. Furthermore, I would NEVER screw over anyone if I was given the option to stay young forever.
Another understandable reason for Scar: their translated names are King (Mufasa) and Garbage (Taka, Scar's actual name)....
As someone whose been tearing up my sisters Barbie dolls as a kid (an ironic thing to bring up now), Sid was like the person I didn’t want to relate to, yet still did
Oh I absolutely agree with Woods as Hades! Sense of humor and sarcasm plus inept coworkers and a job I don’t like…all that, can totally relate. Great choice as # 1. And shout out to Kit’s yzma as #2 as well, I know what it’s like to do so much for and come in clutch for someone and get zero credit nor acknowledgement. 👌🏻 to both.
I feel like the Carnotaurs from Dinosaur deserve a mention. Looking for food is something all of us relate to, regardless of species.
Hades pretty much has a relatable mindset to Homelander, except he knows he’s not the king of his universe 😅
Yeah, I mean while I don't condone Hades enslaving the other gods and what not, I do find his motives to be understandable because he was just tired of living in the shadow of his brother zeus.
The absolute most relatable mindset any fictional hero or villain can ever have is wearing pants amid several enemies who don't as Don Karnage and Megavolt always do.
IDK, to be honest I always felt like the reason Gantu was fired is because he kidnapped/endangered a child. So he wasn't fired for trying to do the job he was asked to do, he was fired for going outside the bounds of the law and morality in order to do said job (which essentially amounted to him causing an interplanetary incident). Especially considering that the Galactic Federation seems to have something similar to the Prime Directive, which Gantu's actions probably violated.
I always believed that Mr. Waternoose was trying to do the right thing (Saving his company from the energy crisis) but with the wrong methods (Collecting kids screams by force)
4:27 While Stinky Pete nearly convinced Woody about staying with him and the Roundup Gang in the Japan toy museum because they would be loved and adored, it would have been really worse for them. Given that museums have security cameras to avoid any kind of theft, this means that the Roundup Gang would have been forced to never move ever again. Of course, given his hatred towards children, Stinky Pete would have easily gone through with this but not his friends, serving this as an example of his extreme selfishness. However, he’s too tragic to be considered Pure Evil.
Minor Spoiler: None of them ever make it to the museum or back into storage.
Actually, Hades was Zeus's OLDER brother in Greek mythology!
Ursula, while she didn’t *TECHNICALLY* break the contract, did quite a bit sabotage Ariel’s attempts to fulfill it so that she wouldn’t lose, right down to using Ariel’s siren powers to make Eric fall in love with her once it was clear Ariel was actually on the cusp of establishing their love. She never had any intention of letting Ariel stay human.
Chernabog should be on the list! He’s the baddest of the bad!
He’s nowhere near relatable. Chernabog desires only to amuse and appease himself, and will commit any atrocity needed to do so. He is commonly depicted as a ruthless and manipulative monster who is feared by all who encounter him. He is one of the most powerful and destructive villains that Walt Disney has ever created for that reason. His power is also shown to be incredibly demonic, being able to unleash hellish realms and spirits.
The thing with Ursula was just a thing between siblings. Jealous Triton was given the crown, decided to become his advisor, got power hungry and was banished.
They aren't villains because of why they did, they're villains because of what they did.
Yeah
Maestro Forte from Beauty and the Beast-The Enchanted Christmas has come to be pretty relatable to me,especially for his song "Don't Fall in Love".
While as a kid, just for any other villain,I didn't share his opinions, now I see myself in him more than I ever thought I would, and,at every rewatch,I'm still kinda surprised to notice how similar we are in way of thinking, opinions and jabs
Peter pan is also a villain (at least in the books). He kidnaps kids and takes to neverland. In the books he kills them when they start to grow up.
Surprised Doctor Facilier didn’t make the cut.
13:55 In medieval culture, an event like a royal christening is not a private party; it’s the public social event of the year. To not invite any person of rank to such an event is a deadly insult.
Maleficent is certainly someone you wouldn’t want at a party, but she’s also someone powerful enough that only a fool would ever dare treat her with such blatant disrespect. The only way the King and Queen could possibly have gotten away with not inviting Maleficent was to not invite any of the fairies at all; inviting the other fairies and excluding her is explicitly taking sides in the conflict between the fairy factions.
Which means they made themselves her sworn enemies, and she responded by treating them as such from then on. If you actually get into analyzing the social dynamics of the scene, it’s very clear that Maleficent was willing to show mercy at first by giving the King and Queen a chance to apologize for their disrespect to her. She doesn’t curse Aurora until after she gives them that chance and they throw it back in her face with further disrespect.
And yeah, if the King and Queen had done the properly respectful thing and invited her, Maleficent would have given Aurora a scary awesome present. Moreover so would the other fairies, because at that point both sides would be using it as an opportunity to show off and one-up each other. What they gave her before Maleficent showed up was basically just trivial party favors by fairy standards.
I've always felt that Sleeping Beauty had many of the same elements of the Resurrection story in the Bible
15:02 Syndrome was one of the few interesting explorations of Stan Culture.
But he’s a self-absorbed supervillain who couldn’t take “No” for an answer and wouldn’t stop terrorizing Mr. Incredible’s family. Not to mention how ungrateful he was towards his former ally, Mirage.
I hate when people act as if Syndrome was a sympathetic villain when in actuality, he was just a spoiled entitled brat who never grew up. He's basically an adult male version of Princess Morbucks from the Powerpuff Girls.
@@PhoenixRising87 I agree. Not to mention he re-envisioned Mr. Incredible declining his request to be his sidekick as if Bomb Voyage wasn’t there.
I relate to Chick Hicks because of my desire to show the world my writing skills and prove myself that I can be a professional
Thanks for including Pixar. Syndrome/Buddy Pine is easily Pixar’s most relatable villain because he was turned down by his idol which forced him down his dark path
I don't think his backstory was that bad he was a child when he was turned down most kids grow out of their childhood idols
Gantu in the lilo and stitch show was great too. 😂
If Goob had thought about it, he'd have used the Time Machine to try and change his past. But possible paradoxes might have ensured, had he done that.
Another thing that people have pointed out with Maleficent is that, during Medieval Times, a Christening within a royal family was considered such an important event that everyone in the kingdom was supposed to attend. In fact, her not being invited would've been considered an even bigger insult during those times.
Yzma probably is the most relateable to me. I do have parents that doesn't listen to my advices, and as the gardener for an entire village, who doesn't really listen either, it's quite infuriating to say the least. It feels like i went to college for nothing. I and Yzma basically share the thing that we have to deal with people we've known for most of our lives, only for said people to not listen to the advice, despite said people know it's better to listen to the people who know their stuff.
So relatable!
the feeling of being excluded is hurtful i know that feeling and feeling ignored is worse than being dumped
In some events, I've been excluded. In others, I haven't been interested.
Yeah, me relating to Ursula? Never going to happen!
Can you do a video on muffins best moments from Bluey
For Jafar, I recommend watching Starkid's Twisted
The best way to start off this week. Happy monday afternoon Ms Mojo. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia.
10:22 yep it's 2023… I'm Ursula ❤
Thank For the Top 20 Video ✌️🙂💖💞😍💕💐🌟🥇🏆
John Lassiter patterned Sid after the way he played with toys, which might explain Sid's creative elements.
You also missed Gaston from Beauty and the Beast and Phillium Benedict from Recess: School's Out; Gaston wants to be with Belle and tries hard to get her to like him (he even ignores every other girl for Belle and plans about their lives together) and so it may be easy to side with how she rejects him as she does (and may go to extremes). And Benedict just wanted to improve the school system and couldn't see any other way but to get rid of Recess to do so. He also got fired and his best friend was behind it; imagine if that happened to you. Oh, what's that? You don't have sympathy for them? Then I'm telling you for the last time; don't try to look for Disney villains where there aren't any, especially not Sid, Syndrome, Hook, Yzma, Skinner, Ursula, Jafar, Maleficent, Scar, Edgar or Hades.
Kronks comment of you think he would have turned out better is very valid, but no telling how much slack she had been given over the years and how many times she was caught making decisions behind the emperor's back that weren't even better than his.
Very true. Kronk is actually very wise despite his appearance but that’s one of the things that’s lovable about him.
[ 15:13 ] Batman and Iron Man being perfect examples.
19:11 I ADORE HER❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! As a fan of Disney movies, I was impressed by the character of Turbo in "Wreck-It Ralph." He was a unique and memorable Disney villain with his own personality and motivations. His design was also impressive, with his sleek and futuristic look adding to his intimidating presence on screen. Overall, I thought that Turbo was a great addition to the world of "Wreck-It Ralph" and a testament to the skill of the 3D animators and writers behind the film.
I love all Disney villains but maleficent is my favorite ❤
188: Scar, Hades and Yzma has something in common. To Kill and Take Over
I'm sure that all tigers would be like Shere Khan if they were as aware of what humans can do to his species as he is!
From The Jungle Book to TaleSpin, though, Shere Khan changes his stripes just about entirely. That's where the new villain is someone even more relatable. Don Karnage.
@@SecretUser2000 Yeah, I don't think that Kipling would recognize his feline creation!
Sounds to me like the antagonist in the movie treasure planet, John, silver that feeling coursing through his body despite being an antagonist is redemption pity, remorse despite all the sins he’s committed, he still wishes to be redeemed I can relate to that
Goob has always been one of my favorite characters!
For Ursula she doesn’t exactly play fair though. She had her eels flip the boat when Ariel almost got Eric to kiss her. Then she turned herself into a human and used Ariel’s voice to trick Eric into thinking she was the one who saved him not Ariel
187: Whoa, whoa, whoa, back up. Did you just say Leroy? You said Leroy
How 'bout Robert Callaghan/Yokai from "Big Hero 6" or Diane "Di" Amara from the "City of Monsters" arc of Season Two from "Big Hero 6: The Series"?
Yzma! Absolutely!
“ have you ever been excluded from a guest list” yeah but I didn’t put a curse on their innocent to die! How is that relatable
Love this video. My daughter thinks I'm so weird because I know every Disney villain but can't name every Disney princess.
Nice list but I would have included these two:
1. Prince Hans in "Frozen"
2. Lotso in "Toy Story 3"
Here's my list:
5. Ursula - She's hated for being deceitful when she hasn't lied to anybody.
4. Jafar - His first wish is to realize his power-hungry no-nos.
3. Maleficent - Home girl doesn't take sides, she just does what she wants.
2. Hook - I'd be pretty pissed too if a manchild amputated me and sicced a crocodile on me to boot.
1. Queen Grimhilde - Queen is right. As soon as this lovely baby learns that she can trick a band of simps into burying a teenage girl alive, her unbelievably kissable face just lights up with joy of the most righteous caliber imaginable.
Ratatouille is that one Disney movie that does not need or deserve a live action movie
With Syndrome, he was too young and navie. And Mr. Incredible wasn't looking for a sidekick in the first place.
Yzma really needs to receive an exploding present from Delibird.
My brother and I have never had a problem with each other!
🏹 Merida - "Brave" (2012)
Everyone betrays own parents!
Top 10 Best Superheroes Made By Disney!
Hades is just like me when my sister gets so work-up about her boyfriend
I think a mixture of gabby gabby and other villains like Goob who didn’t get a night’s sleep and was traumatized by his peers and not being adopted and bullied. because for the longest time I felt I’d no voice and wasn’t loved.
189: Maleficent is the first Disney character to say Hell
Hades, my favorite
SHERE KHAN WAS COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED
Sorry, but I have to point this out. In the movie Cusco does say that she had gotten into the bad habit of trying to run the empire behind his back. Therefore, he has caught her more than once and so I believe the firing was justifiable. Tho it does sting, I’ll agree
Good does become good at the end and Lewis made sure to give him sleep therefore altering the past
I For One Use To Be Like Syndrome As A Child, Always Obsessed About Being Apart Of Your Favourite Superhero's Inner Circle And Fighting Side By Side Along With Him Only To Brutally Find Out That He's Just Not Interested To Acknowledge Your Ability And Assistance In A lot Of Occasions So I Personally Understood Why He Did Things That He Did Plus His Reliance On Technology Than Superpowers is Similar To Batman ❤💖
John Sliver - is relatable because, he NOT think his past😢 He did Jim & his mother at end😊
Captain Gantu- after retirement his NEW job, he NOT doing Revenge or getting old job back.
Ursurla's family- didn't think her sister.😢 Her family kick out.😢Ursurula wants payback.
Hades and I both do got that sarcasm 😂
as I repeatedly mention, the "Evil" Fairy was excluded because *everyone thought she been ded* due to having been incommunicado for an unspecified amount of time
also Scar & Balthazar's predicaments were actually their own faults
Miss ezmas va may she rest in peace
The fact that the mistresses of all evil was ranked as more relatable than the pirate father figure is alarming and concerning. Ma’am, you were left out because of choices you made, fix yourself and maybe you’ll be invited to the princess’s birthday party.
Well it's all about popularity. 🤷♀
191: Unlike other villains but I do sympathize Edgar Balthazar. I get it that The Aristocats is a classic movie but I find it ridiculous.
Money for cats? What would they do for the money?
See, that's another reason Edgar is kind of an idiot. He'd be the cats' guardian, so he'd be in control of the money anyway.
John Silver should be #1 on this list as he is more an anti-hero choosing to protect the kid who had become like a son to him.
I wish. But Mojo's just too biased to ever bother. 😤
[ 13:22 ] HOW IS THAT A CHILDISH PRANK?!?!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
17:34😂
When I’m not invited to something fun, I do become Maleficent. I can’t curse people though.
Suddenly… Maleficent and I share similarities with 2 differences: I only want to be included if I am consented. Crazy how I just want to be in any online game guild, Roblox group, and, in most cases, any Minecraft related activity. That’s a difference. I’m relatable because I want to be included in what others do, excluding dangerous and illegal activities. Well, it could’ve been worse.
The only ones that didn't seem so villain to me, but are understandable, are Gabby Gabby (she wasn't that bad, she just wanted to be loved by a kid) and Edgar from the Aristocats (he only resorted to that plan to abandon the cats because it seemed unfair that after so many years of loyalty, Madame decided that the cats should receive the inheritance first.
