I was diagnosed with a rare liver disorder in 1998 and was only given 1 to 1 1/2 years without a liver transplant. I still haven't had the transplant!! PRAISE GOD!

I have listened to this 100 times over the years! Going through divorce, hurt in ministry, leading me to my darkest place when I began to use drugs again after God had delivered me 8 years sober. I went back. So many times I would turn this song and cry.... yet I would believe that God would one day turn it all around for me... One time in particular I was in a house filled ppl getting high and demons all around around me. I could almost feel them "breathing" on me as I found a corner of the house and turned on this song. It was the cry of my soul and the only life line that could be. Jesus save me! and He did just that. Today I am 6 years sober, serving the Lord, remarried, 2 children and one on the way! Whats crazy is that today I live in that same house, now filled with peace and the presence of God, and sometimes I look at that corner of the room. Thank you Jesus that you are my living hope and thank you to danny gokey for this song.
This song is what I cling to to get me through this seemingly never-ending valley. The Enemy is a liar, but the Lord is Faithful & True. God WILL fulfill his promise to me.

He is doing great things in these last days. Who would have thought just a few years ago there would be a connection between American Idol and Christian music??
