I played this song everyday when my father was dying from cancer. It reminded me God’s promises all are fulfilled in the next life.

My daughter was in a car accident as a passenger a little over a year ago. She had brain injury and vision loss that doctors said would not return. She was prayed for by thousands from our small community, across the country and our pastor went on a mission trip to Ghana and live video from there had prayers from many churches. OVERWHELMING! Today she sees more than medicine can explain. SHE as well as many (including doctors) attribute this to the healing power of JESUS and the prayers for her. She prays nightly for others first and then like Bartimaeus prays for more healing of her vision. She loves this song (as well as "Tell Your Heart to Beat Again" and "Hope in Front of Me"). She always changes the lyrics to "I" just haven't seen it yet. "I'm" closer than "I" think "I" am. Even the doctors say she is a miracle being healed by a higher power than medicine. May God bless all who are in despair by this truth and the songs of hope and belief. HE is a God that promises everlasting salvation. All you have to do is believe it and claim yours.

Listen man I am 33 about a month and a half ago I had a high power pressure washer spray me in the face. It shattered my life it should have killed me but didn't.
On Easter Sunday after the church was empty and that hand that belonged to no one at the cite of the accident was on my shoulders agian telling me to give up all my pain and depression to him. That I could be made new..me why me I am not worthy I am pointless...I look like a monster..but I hit my knees and gave it all to God. God moves through our pastors and men like Danny. Um not trying to take away from his song but God put him on this journey to save people like you and I . He has bin blessed by God.

This year in February, I lost my dad to kidney failure. Prior to his passing, I was in a very dark place, praying and begging God to heal my dad. When I was told he had only weeks to live, my heart was shattered, the thought of losing my only surviving parent was unbearable. I prayed to God like never before. 3 hours before he died, I found this song. What I was going through at that very moment was in this song. I believe God will turn my mourning into dancing. I miss you mum and dad. I know you're both dancing in heaven.

My only son died within 10 days, shock at 36 years old. Gone! God took him Home. And I pray, pray, and this is the catalysis that I could end it. I'm a PTSD person, an orphan at age three, a single mom when I was only a month pregnant, become homeless, messed up so bad.....but was healing n because I have passion for working with vulnerable children and orphan, I'm a trauma healing facilitator
But not having a family to call your own,not having much but yet putting up yourself out there for others is hard
I crashed again n felt back to suicidal thoughts, I share what I'm going through with my friends n told her how I feel worthless about my life and not being able to provide for my 5 years old son,I cried n cried n cried n told her I'm giving up. She wrote me a message saying I should hold on,and below she sent me this song it's my first time listening to it,n all I can do is on my bed n crying. I'm saying to God, I don't have the courage again to hold on, I need his help.
This song means so much to me now,n yes I've cried all my faith in tears and yet to no avail, I trust God but you know that is easy to know when there's nothing to bring you down, I don't want to hurt myself or my son because I know my life gas been very terrible losing my family at that tender age,but in times like these it's difficult to bear. Please every believer out there keep me in your prayers even if not for me but for my son,we need help n love n I know God can do that.... maybe I need to hold on a bit longer to see it!

When I first heard this song, I was brought to tears (I still am at times), and then God quickened to me Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". (This is taken from memory). In my NIV version, it states: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see". (I've seen different NIV translations, so it's not always universal.) In the Young's Literal Translation it reads: "And faith is of things hoped for a confidence, of matters not seen a conviction".
Here is the thing, you cannot give up believing in the unseen. In other words, you can believe in the unseen. It is a choice. As it states in 2 Corinthians 7:7 "We live by Faith, not by sight". Seeing is NOT believing; once it is seen, it can't be believed in or upon.
Brother Gokey also brings to mind with this song; Romans 11:17 (NIV): Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word about Christ (the anointed word, the Rhama Christos).He has reminded me time and time again with his music; Faith is a choice and a way of life. Seen or not, God is real and He has taken care of me in more ways than one my whole life! I AM a child of God, and I give ALL the glory to Him who created me.

So much is going on in my life right now, my nan is ill and I know God will save her soul and she'll be going Home soon but it's still heartbreaking to see her like this. My best friend has been hurt by so many people in her life, her family treats her horribly and she's going through a lot and she's like a sister to me, I can literally feel the pain that she feels and it breaks my heart because right now, I can't be in touch with her and be there for her. Recently my nan's son passed away and her family is hurting and my nan is heartbroken, and I'm heartbroken, I've got faith stronger than ever, but I'm still heartbroken. But despite all of my heartbreak, I won't give up, I'm a beloved son of God and I know my Father is ALWAYS by my side and He has full control and though there are so many broken pieces right now, I know God will pick up each and every one of them and He'll make MASTERPIECES. I've got faith and passion that burns with Holy Fire and I know my God is good, my God does good and He'll use this mess and use it for good and He'll win at the end! No one is greater than my God and no one can defeat God, not even the devil. He, who defeated death and hell and tore down everything that ever stood in the way between us and God, is He who is fighting for me and answers my prayers. I don't know what's going on in your life, but I want you to remember you're NEVER alone, God is wide open for you and if He is fighting for you, no one can stand against you! Don't forget the things God has done before and remember He can do it all once more, if He defeated death, surely my God can save you and the people in your life, surely the Father and Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit can make a masterpiece out of you.
