53 years old and still listening.often. No pleasentries was a great compilation that I related with during a messy divorce. I used to leave the fight in the house, and go out to my truck and turn all 500 watts on this whole album while I self medicated. Maybe not the best solution, but it worked well at the time. Just turned some younger friends on to it. Great works. .
I too have been through not one but two messy divorces! I too have done plenty of self medicating 🍺! Sad story but good one I can relate to myself! Great song and great genre!
I went through a divorce in 2012. It was really awful as I was betrayed and when I found this out, I downed 40 xanax and chased it with a pint of vodka. Fast forward, I'm sober almost 2 and a half years, clean off fentanyl for 5 years and tobacco free since January 12, 2023. I also have had my eyes open to the church and am now free of it. I don't recommend a alot of what I've done in my past to anyone but I'm still standing today.
Addiction sucks. Play this song a couple times a year. No one can escape the times we live in. We all get kicked in the head on occasion. Sometimes metaphorically & sometimes for real. Currently on Oxy for combo of very painful chronic items. It's prescribed but I've also been on them for 8 years. Id say I'm a bit hooked at this point
One of my core memories listening to this in my room as an 17 year old freshly moved out of a broken home. This acoustic song was my soundtrack for many years of my young adult life. Haven't heard this rendition in a LONG time. Takes me back...
I have always loved this song. I’m digging the acoustic version. I served 24 years in a combat unit. It reminds me of being whiskey drunk & lost. God was always right by my side the entire time. I don’t need to be Godless!
at first i was thinkin wtf lol, but wow, quickly grew on me. his voice, the way he carries those notes and stuff, he done a great acoustic version. id never heard this version.
I've listened to all of this album for years. I just don't like UPO's style 99.999% of the time. ...this song, though. This is possibly the most perfect song I've ever heard. It's at least in the top 5.
Tarquin Ogilvie quite broken up. Zoltan went on to play for Five Finger Death Punch. Chris Weber had a brain tumor successfully removed and went on to start a family. Shawn Albro, (vocalist) sings for Hopes Funeral now. They should be putting out music... eventually. What I find ironic is that I'm here today, just a mere few hours after you... Cheers.
It's for superstitious women who think there's an afterlife and to scare children with the wrath of the Boogeyman.I know better. I believed until I'm all out.Im a juggernaut going through the motions.
Such an underrated band. Shawn's vocals were so damn good.

Takes me back to darker days, sometimes I just need a reminder.
Addiction of any type is godless.

One of the best songs ever. Shawn Albro's voice is truly electrifying.
I saw these guys live in Salt Lake City. They really rocked! I loved the singers vocals. It’s a shame they ain’t around now!
I had almost forgotten how much this song kicks ass!
First time hearing the acoustic version. Awesome!
beautiful Shawn... love this acoustic version very much... never will forget watching you guys rehearsing in an old warehouse on the Space coast ;)
Incredible song and an amazing acoustic performance of it. Thanks for uploading! This song got me through some rough times for sure.
Thanks Nicholas, this song sticks in my head as a time when music and voice reined over the soul of music. We are Godless, all of us.
Amazing vocals as always
I was just thinking about this song the other day, but I couldn't remember who sung it. It had been way too long since I've listened the song.
Jason Black .
I come back to this video at least 5 times a year.
Wow this is amazing
