Just reviewed this tyres and still very happy with them after 17,000 Km in total : 14,000 the first pair and I have 3000 with the second pair of tyres. Amazing grip on the Gravel and Rain, and not to mention the looks!
Put a pair of these on my 2019 Street Twin - great grip on road and in rain and when there is sand sand, water, gravel. Still have to be careful but any slip is quickly arrested by the tires and on you go with your journey.
I need go on my iron 883 through gravel road up and down hill from my house to town, it is about 500m. It is big problem with original HD tyres (rear). I just dont want drop my bike. I consider this pirelli for rear and later for front. Will it be ok?
I went with these tires on my Kawasaki Versys 650. I was very happy with the better wet and rough stuff performance. Even on the road they were more predictable.
Know its been a while, but literally ordered a pair of these today for my Versys 650. How hard do you ride with them? I'm pretty easy going, and the original tyres lasted 10,000km without even showing wear ;) Any update on your opinion?
@scottokane5499 Ya, it's been while. Now on an Africa Twin 1000. They came with BRIDGESTONE A41. Lasted 23k on the front. Now on a new set of Micheline Anakee Adventure. However, My time on the Pirellis were great but shortlived as they wore out pretty fast. I ride quite aggressively especially on the road. Traction and grip were superb while they lasted!
Hi there, just bought the tyres this month and made arround 300 Km with them. I can say I am very satisfied with it so far, good grip on the wet surface and on slightly muddy gravel. Very good handling at steering and cornering because of their shape ! I am concern that they won't last long especialy the rear but can I ask you if I can still use the front and go for another rear after it's usage? Greetings!
I'd definitely recommend the tires, they wear pretty good, work great on hard pack and on grass, they're ok in deep gravel but then again any tire is gonna struggle in deep gravel
The tires definitely look badass and will serve you well both on and off road. I don't do any off road, so the stock Dunlops do the trick. y chicken strip is 1 cm ;)
So you're definitely using all that tire haha! I ended up ordering the Givi Trekker 33 saddle bags, havent put them on yet so we'll have to see how they end up working out!
Those bags were pretty awesome. I ended up getting the liners to put in them and then that made trips even easier. However Since selling that fj09 the new bike have givi outback bags (metal ones ) and those are even better then those trekker bags. So you cant go wrong with the trekker or outback bags
I agree man i think pirelli tires for cars and trucks are totally overrated but i have a few friends that run them on sport bikes, keep me posted on the duel sports im curious i like the look of them
So far... they're wearing pretty decent. I managed to get about 1500km on them before snow flew and I was talking to a bmw gsa guy at a gas station and its looking like I'll almost double the mileage he gets on his TKC 80s
Ive got about 5000km on them since this video, mix of highway, spirited riding and gravel roads. Id say the rear is about half worn, so probably a 10k kinda tire on the rear. They're great and I'd definitely get them again. They handle well in the rain as well
On the looks factor alone....They look kickazz! 60-40 sounds perfect! About the speed rating....I don't think you will be going over 200 all the time! Or are you? LOL! I think they will do great!
I have them on my 2010 Kawasaki Versys 650 and after 6000 km the rear tire seems to be close to end of its life. Not sure if it is expected or not, but I am not impressed as I have to get a new one for the second half of the season. Regarding grip etc. - I really like how the tire feels on dirt and pavement. It is even ok for loose sand. P.S. take this with a grain of salt as I am not that experienced motorcycle rider overall.

how are they cornering? can you lean them with confidence?
Im running Conti's TKC80's. Have trouble finding replacement as it seems like they've been discontinued for some reason.

I was looking to get these for my 2018 Bonnie T120 based on the looks alone! I don't do too much dirt riding but I'm sold
@@RDKTB83 me too, but how are this tires with 140-160km/h? is it convenient enough? do they make noise at high speeds?
How did these hold up on the Speed Twin?

They came stock on my RE Himalayan.Very good for everday use.
Will it affect the ABS if you use the front 110/80/18 size instead of the original 100/90/18?
Used these on my Versys 650 and the performed very well. Both mild off and on road . However they dont last.
What millage did you get out of them as thinking of putting them on my versys 650
@@porter5877 About 8000 kilometres!

XLook so cool. Like a racing wet! I will put them on a Desert Sled.
Do you recommend these tires over tkc70 for fjr 1300 ??
How are these tires on rainy or colder days?
i’m thinking about same tires for my honda cb500xa

AUTOT3K HCL hey there. Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the Givi bags?

how many km did the tires last?
Front tire will go for about 16k. Rear tire was good for about 10k, 8k for good grip in gravel

AUTOT3K HCL thats cool i have really good luck with the michelin commander 2 they seem to last the longest i usually get 23 000 mls on baggers
How have these tires been treating you? Im thinking of getting these for my 1984 yamaha fj 1100 "scrambler" project

Haha definitely no land speed records on my end. That'd be more then an instant court date around here! Probably be arrested on the spot
Tires look great haha .. you will be out riding soon haha Take Care
Feels Forever away but it is like 6 weeks so its coming!
What was the mileage and how the grip feel on the road and dirt
