  • I recall a lot of moments that made me want to give up on being a Software Engineer. Everyday going to the library was taxing and on top of that my hard construction job gave me enough to live an easy life outside of work. I think I could have just settled but lucky I did not. Let me know why you arn't giving up. Hope this helps.
Some of my favorite books that keep me motivate:
    LifeHacked: amzn.to/46OaUyH
    Zero to One: amzn.to/3PYLZ4P
    You Owe You: amzn.to/496VLdU
    about me:
My name is Jeff, I grew up in lower class as an Asian American and got bad grades my whole life. I found my path to real estate investing (2m+ in properties) and have a successful day job as a Lead Software Engineer all before 30. My goal is to share what I've learned in my 20s that helped me become who I am today. no sales, no tricks, no games. Just pure advice from someone thats seen both the bottom and the top in this modern world.

Nice video! I am in the middle of changing careers and have felt this same desire to quit. I am still banging away at it and know in my heart and head that I will follow through, but fear creeps in occasionally.

I appreciate this. Yes absolutely, that fear is challenging at times. But just one step at a time is all it takes. Lets keep moving!

I enjoy listening to your videos. I'm a Network Technician and I'm learning Programming. It's very challenging but I won't give up.

I struggled to understand how a "for loop" worked too, until one day suddenly I understood it: "if this is bigger than that, then subtract 1 from it"... And the cycle repeats...
I thougth I would never understand what "object oriented programming" and classes were. And after a while I understood what they were.
    Patience is the secret.

When we know why we started, what and who are we fighting for "ourselves or love ones" we will be motivated and keep going till we achieve our goals.

Your my twin brother from another mother "as im back 😂" but yea that for i in x or if i more n 😂 im like why dont u just write the name out properly, and why have we got letters but were referring to numbers helllllppppp 😂😂😂 im 8 months into my learning journey and now i understand that, but i want to practice more harder for loops as i still get a bit shakey if they get long. Also learning classes in detail right now which in a weird way is helping me with my coding, functions and classes are basically the same thing lol, well they look identical lol, i cant believe a guy like me from the hood is talking like this 😂😂

I 100% have felt this. Thanks for sharing man. It’s apart of the growth it feels wild now but it’s gonna be your second language soon. You’ll be better for it in the end. Till this day I read at a high school level at best. My coding has pasted my reading skills. Apart of growing up in a bad area I guess lol
