Talking Heads were an American new wave and avant-garde band formed in 1975 in New York City and active until 1991. The band comprised David Byrne (lead vocals and guitar), Chris Frantz (drums and backing vocals), Tina Weymouth (bass and backing vocals) and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals)

In my town, there wasn't a bar named heaven. But we did have a place called DV8 and The Zephyr Club that everyone went to and there were something did happen occasionally with cold bands performing. This has been and will always be a favorite.

I like the line about the party everyone leaves at the same time. It demonstrates that the reasons people leave parties early don't happen there. And also the reasons people leave later.

I like Talking Heads except for this atheist song. I think I know why Byrne became an atheist. It is because one of his parents was Catholic and one was Protestant and that would obviously lead to a lot of arguments and he had enough of it and wanted nothing to do with Christianity in general because it caused his parents to fight so much. Just my theory. I could be wrong but the Catholic and Protestant thing is true and Presbyterianism is big in Scotland and they are Calvinists and if you know anything about Calvinists, they are historically very anti-Catholics. I almost lost my faith because of Calvinists.
