There is currently a bad batch being sold, that doesn't have the collar around his neck, but has his variant unmasked Batman cape instead. Believe me, most fans in the action figure/Batman communities are friendly and welcoming! Glad you felt comfortable enough to comment, and welcome to the Batman fan-family!
We've had so many great eras of Batman - pretty lucky to be kids of the late 1980's and onwards. There are some excellent figures highlighted here, even from some chapters of the Caped Crusader's past that...aren't so well loved (The Batman anime show, Batman v. Superman); then again, I am one of those crazy folks who love Batman Forever and have a ton of the figures from my childhood, so there's that, lol. I actually own that Batman Begins figure you spotlighted from Mattel's line of the Nolan movies, and it's certainly everything you said and more; it's just a great action figure to pose for kids, it's got the detail collectors want, and it serves as an awesome display piece. Definitely looking forward to this new movie's incarnations of classic characters (fingers-crossed it's good!) - hope it will usher in a new era of Bat-associated toys for fans of all ages/generations!
yikes… that “The Batman” 2022 figure you got is the factory defect one where it has the cape from the maskless version of the figure. you can clearly see the cowl on his back, while it should just be the standard collar.
The video definitely makes a great case for revisiting The Brave and the Bold show - hadn't seen too many episodes when it originally aired (was mostly out of cartoons and more into movies, comics, and video games by that time), but I enjoyed it as a 1966-esque Batman series that I could actually get into [didn't feel as antiquated as the Adam West show - though I know it has its fans and place!].
I love these videos but stuff like this always makes me wish we had as consistent a line as Marvel Legends but for DC. I feel like the original Spider-Man movie was almost single handedly responsible for the inception and success of the ML Line I really wish the Batman films had been the same way.

16:47 honestly I think Zack does the characters justice, especially after ZSJL, even if it’s in unconventional ways. Like how Batman in BVS was a broken man who’s lost his ways & now sees himself as a criminal who goes on vengeance and views Superman as a threat to humanity till superman shows that he wasn’t wanting to fight him but asked for help, and as he realized that he was close to being Clark’s joe chill by letting his mom die, he changes his objective. Then after Clark’s sacrifice for the people who misjudged him, Bruce’s faith in humanity was renewed because of Clark’s selflessness and decided to try to be the hero he used to be. TBH it’s pretty inspiring and gets how they are flawed and make mistakes they’re still able to redeem themselves. Back in middle school I was very judgmental about Batman forever and Batman and Robin on how they represented the characters told by other people of the fandom on the internet, till I learned about the inspiration, sources and direction they wanted to go and watch bts I would start to understand what the movies were about, it made me appreciate them. Stories of change, guilt, revenge, family and all that stuff. It all got me to like Batman forever again, disappointed on how WB interfered especially back in the day like Superman 2,3,4 and Batman forever as they did recently with the theatrical BVS, suicide squad, WW, 2017 JL. Very excited about Matt Reeves Batman and hope that WB doesn’t screw him like the others.
