Changing spark plugs/removing and installing upper intake on 2004 through 2009 Hyundai Tucson

To access the rear spark plugs the upper intake has to be removed. Here’s a vid that shows the process. The song "Send Me an Angel" by Real Life is played throughout the video. You can find this song on Real Life's Heartland Album, it's also on the Rad soundtrack (a BMX movie from 1986).

"What an interesting setup" Yes yes,... for me to poop on!. Who is the evil bastard who thought that changing the spark plugs should be so difficult? Yeah let's put the motor in sideways and put the spark plugs, something that is eventually going to require placement, someplace where you CAN'T GET AT THEM!! Great video. Thanks.

LOL. so yeah.... changing these plugs isn't like working on an american V8 (or probably a lot of 4 cylinders). But once you've learned some of the quirks of the Hyundai engineers it's not the end of the world....but still getting to those back plugs was not my idea of a good time. Glad the video helped and your comment gave me a good laugh!!

Got a p0303 code on my 07 tucson. 3rd cylinder misfire. Any suggestions?

My first thought is a coil pack, but I don’t like shot gunning expensive parts either. Sorry I don’t have a solid idea of what it is. If it’s due for spark plugs then that might be a good place to start as well

2009 has a different engine set up

Google told me that the 2009 still had a 2.7 as an option (However it would not be the first time the ol' internet lied to me) Do you by chance know the differences? Thanks Man.

@@fomobros2207 yea we have a 2009 tuscon with the 2.4L but with the spark plugs sitting right on top with DOHC
