I've been doing a lot of small welding projects lately with a weak little inverter. It's pretty amazing how smooth everything goes once you get the settings all dialed in nice but there's a lot of variables to consider. I hope the new table works well for you and lasts you a long time
When i started weldong a few decades ago i started the tacks by holding the rod. I soon figured out flooding the weld with a couple of very bright lights. If you cannot see you cannot weld When you start a shop. Buy lots of 1 in by 1/8 wall square tubing. Then make your stands, shelving, tables out of the stuff. A stick welder is like a really strong hot glue gun.
Definitely look into getting an auto-darkening helmet, will help with getting your tacks in the right place and ruler straight lines as you free up a hand to use as a guid/support. Love your work!!!!
Could not agree more with this comment. I just started and was wondering why I was so bad… I spent a bit of money on a new helmet and the difference it makes to my welds is insane, they actually look half decent!
Greetings from "harsh" Russia, in particular from Chechnya. Every night I watch you, they wash away a hard day and calm my nerves, I love to fall asleep to your videos. I'd love to see you make Japanese katana!
Nice looking table, well built. I have a fab shop and have made quite a few tables like yours. My only criticism is on the shelf below, should have inset it a few inches to keep your shins from bashing it when working up close, good to see a guy on utube that knows how to work the tools
Hey Tunin Tunin Looked around for that Nebes TM101 bandsaw and it's around $450 and just under $200 for shipping , after more looking found (general international BS5202 saw ),and while color is different, the saw looks identical. This saw goes for $229 at lowes and $ 220 +free shipping at Walmart . All the specs for both saws are the same except the nebes is 230v and the GI 5202 is 120v . These saws are most likely made by same manufacturer. Hope this helps somebody M L Rogers Pasadena, TX
"grinder and plant make me the welder I ain't" I love stick welding even though I'm not very good at it, cheap inverter is the way to go IMHO, then find some electrodes you like.
You really should look into a proper welding hood. You can get a passive hood for really cheap that you can wear on your head and flip down so you keep both hands free while welding. It can make a huge difference. An auto-darkening helmet can usually also be had for a few more dollars and improves things even more, because you can see what you’re doing when you’re tacking especially.
Bro, I like every video of yours, but you need more welding practice. Also try avoiding things like on 3:27, becouse if you are using inverter welder, ONE spark on board inside can kill your machine. Stay cool and keep it going! :)
It's a Nebes, Italian company I think. I have the tm 101 plus. I bought it used and it served me well so far! I've seen other similar to this manufactured by other companies, you should be able to find something like this easily.
Did a lot of welding work in high school, never seen or heard of anyone holding the electrode to help strike an arc. Seems so simple now that I have seen it.
I believe you made the frame on the fly. But am curious if you did have a written plan.... Great video. I want to learn how to weld and build a bench like that. I am currently trying to figure out what stick and or mig. Have a great day sir!

Black! This video I see in 360p... It's normal?

Black Beard Projects The machine you used for cutting the steel, what’s it called?
For better welds, and for the stick to arch better, i would recommend grinding the mill scale off the tube at your joints, prior to starting welding
Great build with no silly background music. Perfect!
Too bad about the poor welding skills...

Please someone give this man a welding machine! Seriously, GREAT JOB as ever!
Stefano maybe we can chip in and pay for him to take a course in welding?
@@melgross -- And get rid of that stupid gender-challenged "man bun"...
@@seanseoltoir heh.
Absolutely awesome! I'm looking to build one, and you just gave me the blueprints I needed.
Never ever seen someone use stick welding like this...great idea thank you
There's probably a reason for that... Maybe because a professional welder would not do it that way?
@@seanseoltoir yes you are right but this is interesting

You live in chlamydia?
Timing is perfect as I just took my first welding class last week flux core and mig. Every man should learn to weld. Cool table BB thanks for sharing.
tried welding wire to fix some earphones. failed hard cuz i suck really bad or maybe the equipment doesnt work properlly anymore as its really old.
@Undefined Lastname which means i suck even more XD
Very well executed, including your notes. I hope you enjoy using that bench.

Oh NOW I get it. You're building a catwalk. Nice.
Glad I’m not the only one who has trouble starting a stick electrode.
If you first start it up on a piece of waste steel the rod it warmed up and starting is much easier on workpiece
Looks like it's just the two of you so
Simply and nicely done!! I think anyone with his friend welding machine and some power tools can do it!!! Wanna see more simple ideas from you!!

This will be one of my first welding projects For sure 🔥
MAN!!! That is fun!!! That is exactly what I wanna do in life, no doubt!!!
Absolutely beautiful and you've inspired me to buy a stick welder
calling this sturdy is a gigantic understatement
Maybe sturdy in compression, but because of not angled supports, it might still "rack" is pushed sideways...
I literally finished making stick welded workbench like week ago. Shame I haven't made it later, I would definitely used some of your processes.
Great project! Simple yet super sturdy and useful. Thanks for sharing!
Great job. I have the same with 4cm oak on top. Undestroyable
Very interesting process on welding a workbench Sir. Also thanks for the knowledge.
Friday afternoon, cold beer and some BB, great start to the weekend.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers
What saw was this with the green color ?? that was cutting the steel like a hack saw?
Thick wall tubing is where stick really shines. Nice and robust design there.
I’m glad u used the magnets, they are quite helpful...
Nice work👍🙂🤝🤝🤝
Great job.I like the way you handle the welding rod
Nice simple bueatiful table for good simple serenity work worthy
Great job looks awesome! 👍 👍
Super job! I need one like that!
Nice table! Nice video! Thanks 🙏

*Que buen trabajo y prolijo, saludos desde Argentina.*
Very nice workbench. I like the look. That is something I'd like to make someday with my powerarc welder.
Excellent, very good ✋💐🇮🇶😘
You are so meticulous it gives me the warm n' fuzzies. It's like therapy for me, watching you work
Very good job bro 👍👍👍👍
Coooooool... can't wait to see it used for your next project.

Tihis is really cool, man! Hello from Russia.
Respect your welders.
Excellent job
Soon as I get done with fixing up that fence I've got in shop class I'll probably make on of my own
Te ah quedado linda la mesa maestro....felicidades un abrazo a la distancia y bendiciones.
What is that floor you have there? I'm renting a garagespace and was wondering what I could do to protect the floor, this seems like a great solution.

Nice tacking technique !
Pretty sure his, "welding machine" is just a car battery in a box.
I can hear how shit that welder is
Why did you cut the top support box sections at 45? And not just weld them in at 90 box ?
I am disappointed, I was expecting a double backflip to get out from the table ;)
Nice job !
you're indirectly suggesting suicide
Привет из России ! Спасибо за полезное видео.
I wish that guy was local I would buy bench from him right now
Basic and strong 🤠👍
Great video and awesome simple build, thanks!
awesome very nice and really a good job
What do you call this metal saw cutter? It cuts very clean.
Very nice! I would make one of this next year! Good luck! Thank you!
What a good idea you gave me. Good job you did, I congratulate you. Nice joob.
Nice stage, where can we get these fancy shorts?
jk. Great idea to use the countertop as the flat surface when assembling the frame.
Thank for your video. I'm practising DIY but there aren't some machines like yours in my hometown (VietNam). Anyway, thank you so much.
Like your work!!!💪💪💪💪💪
very very nice job. May I ask what size of welding rod you use in clip?
Black beard this is amazing!
Thanks!!
Great - Congratulations! - Best regards from Brazil!

I'm more impressed with it the mobile mini bandsaw!! Where can I get one of those bad boys?

What other options are there for cutting metal square ? What kind of tool is that?

Sweet build...how much did it cost roughly?
gracias por compartir, que interesante tu técnica de soldar coges el electrodo con la mano después de la tenaza cuando esta corto el electrodo...
Nice to see someone 'avin a go.

And it’s a great way to burn the shit out of your fingers if you’re doing a weld of much length! The rod heats up FAST!
Very neat. Just one thing, why didn’t you full weld the shoes? Sorry I dont know what to call them lol
Tu sueldas con polaridad inversa?
Por que veo que tomas el electrodo con la mano
I thought grinding a welded part is not advisable, they say it was lessen the strength of it. Btw nice workmanship
Very nice! 😊🤘🏽
Thank you Habu!
Nice job!!
Thank you sir
Enjoyed that Project
Use a larger gauge rod and turn your amps up. You're getting no penitration. And the welds will fail
Chow de bola o serviço, essa máquina de cortar o ferro muito boa , qual valor de uma dessa
Is that like a cheap harbor freight arc welder?
En donde comprastes la sierra me gusto
that's hardcore using just the hand-held welding mask :o
I think it’s pretty amateur. He sucks at welding by the way.

Just buy a stick welder on Craigslist, tons of Lincoln electric tombstones on there. 200ish bucks for a hell of a welder.
Good skills, Thanks!
I like so much this type of portable band saw, what brand is?
Отличный верстак получился. А что это за пила такая?
