For those who have ears to hear, U2 always include deeper messages in their concerts. Their concerts are intricately arranged thematically; song set lists are almost always arranged to track themes . When Bono shouts, "Are we going up?!" during "Until the End of the World" (see Concert Dude's video of it), he's not just shouting a phrase designed to stoke a crowd; he has higher purposes in mind. Here, when he includes a snippet of "Moment of Surrender" at the beginning, it's because there's a thematic connection with "Streets," again related to higher purposes. Going to a U2 concert can be a blast; they're the best band on the planet, and the band most impacting on we Gen Xers as a whole. But thoughtfully follow along with the concert (i.e., any U2 concert) and the themes it presents, and it can be something much more moving and impacting. U2 desire their concerts to be more than entertainment.
We love good music and good music was blessed by U2. They are the band of my life, their live performances are awesome, thanks Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry. Forever and ever.
I was there earlier that month a few people further back...what a wonderfully intimate moment you captured for that song seen from a new perspective. Truly a moment of surrender.
Was at that one, flew from Ireland to see them on my birthday, 20th October, then landed a ticket for the 21st. Incredible experience both for the band and the Sphere, outrageously good.
Willy Williams once said. I LOVE this guys, but You could not imagine how dy amic and demanding they are.... To stay together for 40 years, and risking with different music types, some experimentos went to the bin... "BUT STILL HAVE NOT FOUND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR.... 💚
❤️❤️❤️‼️‼️‼️‼️ the beginning !!! Thank u !!! It looked like young BONO !! ❤️❤️❤️ Bono surrenders to the song. ❤️❤️. Edge guitar ❤️❤️ AJ grabbing Bono’s glasses ❤️
@@ConcertDude it's not actual footage. It's a built environment, like in a video game. They explain it in the behind the scenes 30 min video about their Sphere show. It's on youtube.
I did see them four times in tiny clubs back in 81/2 but never have such an over-rated group over-achieved in such a mega way. But hey, good luck to them. Just shows Americans will swallow anything. MakeAmericanGriftersAccountable 2024.
Love U2 my favorite band … forever U2 fan

I seen U2 in 2011 during their 360 tour. Best concert I’ve EVER seen and probably ever will. ❤
360 to me IS the outcome of maturity and still aTilt of innocece.
I kneel in front of their whole CREW.
Good job. I Will NEVER forget.

I guess it should be considering a couple tickets cost over a grand.
