My grandmother had 9 children and managed her time pretty darn good. She taught me and my mother taught me to manage my time as well when I had my 4 boys. You just leaned how to work around their schedules. I just feel like to many modem things are taking the place of real bonding time. I've seen new mommies on their cell phones while holding their new borns. Man, I remember staring at my kiddos for hours. Embracing the fact that this baby was finally in my arms. There's so much disconnect today. It's the simple truth no matter how you look at it. There were modern things in my time that my grandma didn't have but time, time and binding never gets old. The real deal! Nothing can ever replace your children, so why should we replace ourselves. I've lost a child and am so thankful for every single moment with him.

  • @2lee885

As a South African, putting our babies on our backs is just pure bliss! We love to carry them on our backs and do chores around the house. Babies love it when you move around with them, it calms them and puts them to lala-land very quickly. It is safer to have them upright for a while longer especially after feeding them. I wouldn't even buy this. We bought a baby rocker when we had our twin boys so I can manage them, I was so afraid of it and I never left them alone. I used it as another pair of hands to hold 1 baby while I changed the other. I fed them both at the same time and from there I burped them and kept them both on my chest long enough to feel safe to put them down for a nap. My word I even carried them back to front just to avoid the rocker🤣🙈

I can also understand moms wanting to try new products to help with a fussy baby, aaanndd I can also understand people feeling like these products are taking the place of a human like the momaroo.
As a mom who has had multiple children I just say do whatever you feel is best for you and your baby. One size doesn’t fit all. Just be careful with new (really any) baby product and do research for your baby’s safety.

Then she had colic and would scream and cry… we bought this thing and she would be so peaceful and relaxed.. it’s like it distracted her from all the pain and discomfort she was feeling. She would sleep so good.. I’m forever grateful we bought it.

People commenting negatively on this video are just flat out ignorant! Who is saying that just because you purchase this that you will never hold and soothe your baby? I guess that every parent that buys a bouncer or swing is "lazy" as well? What about bottle warmers? Are we lazy for buying them too? Using something that helps soothe your baby is NOT lazy. You would think a bunch of children are commenting on this video with all the ridiculous remarks. If you don't like the product, fine, but you come on here and put others down who use it. Buying products that help your child is not lazy. As a parent you cannot hold your baby 24/7. I guarantee you all these "people with children" on here are actually people without children. If you're saying owning this makes you lazy, you better not own any bouncers, swings or any other products to help soothe your baby. Hypocrites. Also, this product does NOT claim to be a replacement for human contact. "I purchased the babocush and now I will never hold and soothe my child again, I will only use the babocush when my child is crying" said NO PARENT EVER.

I didnt buy a bottle warmer or a bouncer. A Walker yes because it was good exercise. In no way shape or form I gave my mommy duties to an object. The babycush seems good for when a mother is exhausted and needs a break. Imagine though all those bad parents because they do exist, strapping their kids to an object and probably just chilling away watching TV and on their phones while baby either grows distant from them or cries his lungs out because babycush is not what they needed. It's ridiculous.

Lazy parents? As a mother, and owner of a child center. Holding your child 24 /7 isn't helping your child learn to sooth himself which is very important. So your saying if you are a parent, that you never put your new born down? The babocush doesn't advertise substituting holding your child, but some babies don't like swings, they rather be on their belly. And this is a safe way. Some people are ignorant and have to voice negative opinions and call parents lazy Instead of being mature and saying this isn't for our family.

Babies sleeping on the tummy have high incidence of SIDS/crib deaths as compared to babies sleeping on their backs, that was why “back to sleep campaign” reduced the number of SIDS. Pacifier use is another factor which can protect babies from SIDS.
I would urge all the parents to read the Babocush bed manual carefully and talk to their babies pediatrician before use.

Ever had a baby with bad colic or reflux? It can make a strong loving parent break down from exhaustion and nerves. Of course you want to hold and comfort your baby but sometimes you need a little extra help to stay being a strong loving parent.
