Newton’s second law means that the motion of an object is based on the net force on the object and the weight of the object. So by using a dampener there is less force on the object which results in less acceleration (of the GoPro not the kwad)

one question, the sensors in the motherboard in the gopro were calibrated to the position of the camera sensor, and use that data to stabilise the footage (in EIS), did the rearrangement of the camera sensor and the board affected the stabilisation capabilities of the gopro? if it did how did you tackle that??
I think Insta360 go just takes all this hard work away. that tiny lightweight 20g camera can stick to any whoop and records super steady videos with its flowstate stabilization. I think some people did the videos with that too. saves a gopro from stripping too :)
I have both, it is not the same. Gopro RS gives you a Hi Res SuperB Video. Insta360go is good for Insta and social apps stories. Or to be viewed on a smartphone screen :) different worlds
Curious what you could get out of a Lithium Ion pack. It kinda blows the sub250g option out due to a 3s 18650 is around 155g. But the possible flight time improvement is a real bonus. Also, it would give issues on clean/dirty plate and need adjustment. But... i have several 3 to 4in quads that are geting 12(flown agressively) to 20+min flights on 3s 18650 3000mah using 1404 to 1408 3600-3700kv motors. Current limitations for a VTC6 cell are around 15amp continuous and 30 amp burst.
How do you capture sound on drone footage while minimizing the prop noise? I understand onboard footage will inevitably pickup prop noise, but can a directional mic be run simultaneously on the ground for the subject being recorded, and minimize the drone noise from the ground? Does this question make sense? hahah
@@m8rx007 i think this one in the video can still use an analog set freely, which brings down the cost considerably and keeps your options open to different drones (if you have a fleet) where you can swap drones and keep the same goggles. The GoPro Hero 6 has multiple LEDs, so I'd be tempted to mount one in view of the FPV camera so that you know the record status as you're flying. It would probably need a little printed shroud so that the light doesn't affect the recording though.
