What is with idiots calling Mamta’s murder an ‘honor killing’ or blaming a ‘romantic interest’? It was neither. It was premeditated murder by the husband who planned it at least as early as April.
The only romantic interest is on his part. There's someone in Nepal that he has been communicating with. That's why his Google searches were "how long after wife's death can you remarry"
I'm sorry but for someone like myself who knew someone that was a former UN Jr delegate... I have to say that's exactly where my mind went. I immediately wondered whether or not this was some sort of an 'honor killing'. Some of the clues: 1) her friend Nadia who organized the baby shower said that he was very verbally aggressive with the guests at the party. 2) It was also brought up that he was wondering 'how soon he can marry after the death of a spouse'? Like who does this in the midst of an investigation for a missing spouse? 3) It was also brought up by the friend that organized the baby shower, that the husband was extremely controlling. Very mad. Extremely upset that the wife had nerve enough to leave the house "to go buy some things from a spice store" and just several other little clues as well. Yes, I personally feel it might have been something along the lines of an 'honor killing' people that ascribe to the mentality of an honor killing feel justified in doing something like this especially if they perceive the other person as having done or said something that bruises their ego or bruises their internal feelings for how they believe they should be treated. So let's not rule that out.
@@ceeyesj7888 additionally I don't know if you were aware of this but there were some early news reports that were circulating that indicated that in the days leading up to it there had been an argument between the couple there had also been some sort of disagreement when the in-laws from his family came to visit. There was very strong indication that his family treated her extremely extremely physically rough and based upon that and knowing what I know of people from that part of the world when someone is believed to have either disrespected the directions or the orders or the Mandate of a male spouse the woman almost always is looked upon as though she is not living up to her duty to obey the husband when that happens they sometimes do think about the best way to rid themselves of their wives I've seen it happen in two situations one of which I knew the family quite well and one was a separate news incident that took place in the UK.
