I use a soteco wet vacuum with auto pump. Put the vacuum end at lowest point whilst power washing and use a 12inch fsc with vacuum port for final cleanup or an ordinary vacuum wand.
I can’t believe customers don’t get you to clean their walls at the same time. Floor looks great, walls look filthy…you should definitely upsell that as an option 💕
Thanks Nicola, I'm alway too busier looking at the grimy floor but you're so right I need to start doing packages even If they haven't mentioned It. Thank you
Astonishing transformation from the start. I want to mention that your music is always a welcome accompaniment not a distraction or manipulation, lovely additional gift and then there’s Theo..cannot get better than that ‘cept for Arthur. 💝 Thank you.
They make smaller dirty water pumps that you could buy and leave run at the end while you power wash. The hose can be put out into the yard and have a filter on it so it will collect debris and only exit water. That would save you more time than anything. So it would get rid of the water as you continued to clean. That patio turned out brilliant. What a nice place to sit and talk in the evening. I'm surprised by now they haven't drilled into a side and put any kind of drain. On a hard rain for a few hours, I bet that fills up with water.
Thanks again for coming back, I’ll look Into that.. I am really fortunate and don’t come across too many nightmare jobs. Funny enough that’s exactly what I said they sit out until late as It always gets the sun

Great job! Seems the client needs to have their drainage situation looked at. I don’t know how the house doesn’t flood every time it rains hard! That pump tool must be a godsend for you.
You do great work and have a lovely family. A suggestion to help the those birds is to soak the bread in water first so they don't choke. That what we were taught to do for them. My pet geese and ducks long ago always had their food in a bucket of water so the food won't get stuck and cause a problem. It is their natural method of feeding. Back in the mid 1970s there was a book called Ducks and Chickens in your back yard. It had lots of useful information. Kids always love feeding the ducks.
I think if I lived in that house my first order of business would be to put a couple of tunnels into the yard for passive drainage. Better yet run a couple of drainage pipes out to the sewer. That would slow algae and moss growth since water could drain.
