@@feederdiaries4862 Oh I imagine there are plenty of complaints, and they usually wait until it's finished to do so. I mean you can get sued for saving someone's life.
I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.
I guess people don't realize, it costs money to perform charitable works. Fuel, equipment, string, blades... None of that stuff is free. I see no problem with monetizing videos to help pay those expenses. As someone who works in labor intensive fields, donating the labor is a huge thing. Keep doing what you're doing.
I just started watching his channel, and it just irritates me when I see comments like you describe. It's just people trying to tear down someone who is doing something for others. Being kind is so rare nowadays, if someone is, then there just has to be a catch or some hidden gotcha... so every knucklehead with a keyboard sets out to find it then post about it like they've just found the identity of the 2nd shooter on the grassy knoll. Truth is, I don't care if the ad revenue is paying for fuel, equipment, etc and puts profit in his pocket. I see nothing wrong with that. Judging from the # of views his videos get (this one is barely a month old and has over 600k), he's found something that interests people, which in turn allows him to generate revenue off his channel. I've seen other channels post what they are making, etc but they don't get near his views, so I can speculate what he's getting, but I don't care. Personally how I look at his channel (and not to insult the man), but he's not a landscaper who posts UA-cam videos... He's a UA-cam personality who posts landscaping videos, all the while giving some pointers on lawncare and business... and then tosses in some cheesy jokes along the way. If anything, it's a genius business model that he's come up with.
Could you point me in the direction of one of these comments? Been scribbling through a ton and I am yet to see anyone talking trash / criticizing the video/work..
Kevin, Juggernaut, I am an old guy in California, semi-retired. You videos and now your in depth discussion of community service makes me happy. I just helped my two neighbors edge their yards for nothing except the act of being helpful." You motivated me to do that" You are awesome.
I would never in a million years thought I would have become so interested in watching someone do yard work but you have touched my heart. I have so much respect for you and how much of yourself you freely give.
This video was recommended to be a year ago, and I've been watching since. I'm a woman in my 20's who does my own yard maintenance and you taught me how to edge my yard. I used to dislike cutting my grass but now that I know how to make it look nice, I actually look forward to it. Thank you for not only helping people with your service but for also teaching us as you go. I really appreciate it!
The first time I ever watched your channel, you smelled the death of the home owner. You were very respectful, and prayed for the family. As a believer, and a 7 brain bleed stroke survivor, I really appreciate your heart toward those who cannot help themselves.
I'm disabled and can't cut mine like I used to and money is so tight , my mower is only push , and need a rider to do it myself , I'm blessed to have 2 nieghbors like this great guy who have been helping me out , EVERY week for a year , and won't take any money from me . I'm so greatful there's people still out there like this . When I was young and able I was raised to do the same . But nowadays it's a slim thing . It's sad that not many do it anymore .I appreciate guys and gals who help others everyday out there because you never know what kind of day , life or experience they are having at the time , and even a " Have a great day , I love the color of your hat , You have a great smile!" You could make their day . I do it because I wouldn't want someone to feel like I do some days , and it helps .
It's payback time brother! There are more people like this guy than we know. Now, you get yours. Chin up and smile, makes people wonder what your thinking! Life goes on. Hey, while I am at it, check out, buckin' billy ray smith, an arborist up in western Canada! Be kind brother, he says, be kind!

It’s actually a tool to ease trade instead of having to trade your goods or services directly for other goods and services, money has nothing to do with one’s willingness to help others in need.
I was healthy when I bought my home. after owning it for 3 years and fixing it up all that time I have had 4 heart surgeries and 12 eye surgeries. I thank people that like to help other people because you never know when or why it might be needed.
I can't tell you how many people moved into their dream home only hurt themselves within the first year 3 years of moving in and then usually the upstairs is not even used in the house anymore
It’s true that everyone is going thru something… I was my parents caregivers until they passed away, I was in horrendous grief, and all I heard from the neighbors is how my lawn needed to be mowed, edged, etc. I was so overwhelmed even without the negative comments. Bless you for the help you provide others!
One of my neighbors couldn’t cut his lawn because of eye surgery. We didn’t know that. If they hadn’t been nasty to us, we might have cut it. They’re not nasty anymore. He lost his job, I got him on where I work. They’re sweet as pie now. Now I’m disabled, another neighbor does my front lawn.
That one rough road to travel. I took care of my dad the last 8 months of his life. It was not pleasant even though we had nursing services coming in to help. Watching a loved one become more and more incapable takes a lot out of you.
I cut the lawn for free all the time: I am not charging anyone, and no one is going to charge me. Except for a little electricity, which is almost free.
@John Smith Water doesn't go anywhere-stays right here on the planet. Sure it'll need to be ran through a water treatment plant the next time that water makes it to one, but in paying for this irrigation water the homeowner paying for that. Only over populated areas where the elected officials have no idea what they are doing-elected with emotional talking points without any knowledge-is water so precious. There's entire rivers of it just running into the seas daily. You're just a young tyke ain't ya.
@John Smith If you live in the Suburbs in a sub-division with an HOA, if you don't mow grass, edge, etc...you get a fine. If don't pay fine and continue not to take care of lawn repercussions escalate and they put a lean on home. Even if no HOA...say live in urban area, in some cities or towns if your lawn and lot gets overgrown it can be a problem. Some places the cities or towns will fine you for that and tell you to fix it. If you don't, more fines and jail time can occur. These are just a few reasons why someone might care about the condition of their lawns.
ima 17 year old who does lawn care and this is probably my favorite channel on youtube. it’s something about transforming a property that is so calming and fulfilling
You've got a good head on your shoulders, one day you'll have your own lawn service but do what Kevin does he service those that can't. You get more business by word of mouth. Stay safe God Bless
Hey Kevin! Im a 73 y/o fan from Boston. I love that you do this. I heard a song once that said, "The only measure of your words and your deeds will be the love you leave behind when you're gone." Your impact will be felt for months and years after you do these jobs. People need to see that one person can make a difference. And I love when people try to tip you on a free job and you refuse that too. I would say Bless you, But you're already blessed. It shows.
I have a suggestion Kevin, hear me out and tweak it, some of these kids in high schools are NOT college material, so open a apprenticeship so they have a trade to support themselves. You are a great teacher!
It's not even a matter of being college material, by large college is a scam. I wish I had been told about apprenticeships. Instead I went in the military for 5 years to help pay for college, came out broken, tried college, couldn't do it. Now I'm broken and in debt with no career. I will now tell anyone who will listen to look into apprenticeships before college.
@@cdmichaelb my parents tried to get me to go to college but I never did. I later found out you can make 15.00 with out a degree or 20 with a degree in which 10 of it goes to pay the college debt. I even saw one posting for a marine biologist once which required years of experience and a bachelors degree and you’d get 8.00 per hour to start Many others figured that out early on and defaulted on the loans intentionally to the point they made it a law you can not get out of your college debt in anyway except pay off. Colleges get your money and you get the shaft
All my friends are doing A levels when we finish school but I'm doing a carpentry and joinery apprenticeship, so while they earn nothing for two years while they prepare for university, I get paid all year and come out with a skill set and all the qualifications I need to live the rest of my life. Besides, everyone goes to uni these days and the jobs are pretty limited when you finish, many of our family friends have degrees and £30000 students debt, but are working in McDonald's flipping burgers so that they can afford to run a car.
@@leoburnell7799 meanwhile you've already bought a car and just put yourself onto your first mortgage started a personal business and these dudes earning their degrees are still trying to figure out if they can afford 2 minute noodles for dinner every week for the next year :|
I'm a 61-year-old woman who loves to watch you because I remember when I was younger how I used to do my yard and love the end result when it was pristine I always kept my yards pristine so congratulations and thank you for what you're doing for other people who can't do it for themselves I really appreciate the love that you're putting out for strangers and I know you have a heart of God
Your comment is basically what I would have written. I'm 74 and use an electric mower for my acre of lawn. But when I was young and in High school, I used a push mower. That would have been about 55 years ago. I wonder how yards got so hard to cut that everyone went to using electric mowers and still complain about the hard work...
We all are capable of doing something. Like me, what I would give, just to have a friend to call or text once, twice a day. I'm so afraid I'm going to die and they won't know anything about it until it reeks too bad or I owe so much in rent. Just someone to exchange niceties a few minutes out of the day my I would like to start a network for people like me. No monies involved whatever, unless you want to buy the coffee that day. Idk
You are are great example of what a Christian is. We hear a lot about "christians" but most don't live up to that name. I am not a religious person although I was raised Catholic. I do, however know a good person when I see one. You sir are a good person. I wish you all the best. I love your videos! As an obsessive compulsive, I find it so satisfying watching how you work. The edging alone is worth the watch. ❤
there is so many bad religious people we can see them every day in the comments.. saying : you'll go to hell if you don't believe in Jesus.. repent yourself... etc to people with differents beliefs... Although I'm an atheist I don't think telling your fellow human they'll go to hell for having a different belief is what religions are about in the world we live today ... religions should be about love and helping everyone , be a good person towards people and other living being and yourself too... and this is what he does ... everyone should follow his exemple and the world would be so much better.
I'm amazed at the way he just keeps talking throughout the whole video without being annoying or boring. He's got a good heart, a great voice and cool stories.
Just purchased a home and learning how to maintain my lawn, so thanks for these videos. BTW, you will continually be blessed by helping others like this. 🙏
I never thought that I'd spend an hour watching lawn care videos with such fascination. I don't know why I loved this so much but I did and I'm gonna happily go watch more!
I do it all the time. But remember NOT to expect a favor in return because it won't happen(you might get lucky). I have yet to have a neighbor help me with something as simple as shoveling snow. As far as mowing be cautious of a neighbors help because they may transfer some nasty weeds from their mower to your lawn. Annual Poa is awesome!
I always did the same. Not as a "Should do", it was done because I care. What people don't understand about home value, is curb appeal. Your neighbors count too! No one wants to live next to a disgusting house, no one.
@@OpSic66 Yep, that's why I didn't even bother to look at homes where the neighbors lawn or junker was beat to shit. I have to much respect and pride in what I work for in life.
Our old neighbor used to. Mom was a single mom of me, and my two other siblings. She’s worked full time and hardly had time to do yard work, so he’d randomly come out and cut our grass after doing his to help her out
I'm a single mom of teens, dad convicted abuser. Our mower broke, I had no time or money for an entire summer and not one person offered to help. Would have loved to have known someone cared. Had a tree actually grow around the pool filter taller then the house, that I never saw grow. So not everyone is looking for a free ride, sometimes ppl really could use a hand from someone who cares.
Let's all just go extend a hand to a neighbor. Bake a pie, cookies, I have taken some of our elderly toilet paper, laundry soap. Maybe home made healthy soups. Whatever your gift is offer that gift to just one neighbor. Let's all become a person this world needs more of. Starting in our own neighborhoods.v

I'm retired, used to supervise road/bridge construction work. One of the carpenters would paint his tools pink because that way none of the other guys would accidentally walk off with his stuff. It worked wonders.
That's what I do. There's always one smart one from every crew that has wild colours painted on their tools. I had orange and pink stripes on everything, every time I could get my hands on marking paint or I was at Home depot id pick up a small can of pink enamel and keep it in my bag of tricks. Also regardless of paint, your name should be on every single tool except the pen itself. I put the first letter of my surname all over everything i owned, try to find a place that wont get worn down quickly, like putting your name on the grip is a bad spot, on the backside of a skillsaw shroud is a good spot, etc. PS. Stanley brand permanent markers are better than the Sharpie brand - it is what it is.
I am a 80% disabled veteran and I enjoy your videos..I worked on some golf courses in my 23 years of service. I also maintained the base right of ways.. most of my time was spent overseas, 2 tours in Germany, 2 tours in Korea, 2 tours in Vietnam, and 1 in Thailand
thank you, when I was a Navy wife, whenever my husband was at sea (often for a very long time) another member of the Navy that was home at the time, would do the grass cutting and the snow removal. Living on base housing was nice, but we had to keep it at a certain level. But when my husband was home, he was chill with doing a couple of driveways and lawns. It truly helped (especially when the families had young children or pregnant moms). It was such a help, and we just knew to pay it forward!
As a single mom who always stressed over the yard work and now as an older retired person, having the yard work done always made/makes my day. God bless you for what you do.
Gotta say I never thought I'd see such kindness on a lawn care channel. If there were more people like this gentleman in the world it would be one hell of alot better place. Thank You Kevin! SUBSCRIBED!
I love this guy and his wife, their awesome. They do this for ppl for free. This is something that family members should do for their families. He can make ugly yards absolutely beautiful.
As a motorcyclist myself, I am grateful that you are mindful of us riders and the ease in which grass clippings can ruin our day. Wet clippings might as well be ice for us. Have no clue how I ended up on this video, but I appreciate you!
Get a couple of cyclist together and do something like this 😉 then you know why you ended up on this channel.....everything happens for a reason ❤️❤️❤️
There are people who will ALWAYS complain when someone does something good, that it's not "good enough" or "pure enough". Guess who those people aren't? people who help people. They have to take you down to make them feel better about themselves, not that they SHOULD feel bad, because you can't make someone care. It's OK to benefit from your good deeds, it's OK to feel good about yourself for doing them, it's one of the rewards!
It can also be people who are jealous... "Why didn't he offer to do my yard free?" Some people just can't be happy for others out of pure t jealousy. They are always keeping little scorecards going in their minds and those kind of people are never happy. The only scorecard I want to keep in my head is my Gratitude to God list. I like to regularly think about and praise God for the things I know He has one for me and always cognizant that He does things for me all the livelong day that I'm not even aware of. For instance, so far I've never been the victim of an identity theft. As awful as an identity theft is and how much stress and money you can lose because of it... that is something I can thank God for. I've only had one car and one house break-in in my life and both were minimal thefts. That means God is guarding my car and house even when I don't know it! I can't see them but there are probably angels surrounding my house all day everyday. I've never been in a major auto accident, so that means God has saved me from countless accidents. When I get home from running around in my car, do I thank God that I made my trips without having an accident? I should but often, since it didn't happen, I forget the blessing of His protection. So I keep a list of Gratitude going in my head and thanking God whenever things come to me. There is always something to thank God for, even in the roughest of times. So when I do have a bad day, I try to think of what God did for me and thank Him for it. Like, "I'm in a lot of pain from overdoing it yesterday but, thank God I got all that done. Thank God I had the energy and motivation to work. Thank God for the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction that I have now that the job is done. Thank God I don't have a terminal illness, it's just pain that will ease up in time. Thank God I have a comfortable bed to rest in...."
I’m 70 years old and I just ran across your channel. I love doing yard work and really enjoy watching you make an overgrown lawn look pretty for people who can’t or won’t do it. So far, I’m really enjoying the videos. You’re a hardworking guy!
It's called Faith. Hope. Charity. This is an awsome show of charity. Bless you for what you do. I wish you were here. People should do more of this for others.
Why would anyone have a problem with you making money on your video? You’ve cut lawns for free and given out free tutorials on how to turn disaster lawns into decent yards. Thank you for posting your content.
Sounds like those people just want a reason to bitch about anything, he does the work for free, people can watch the video for free and he still gets paid for his effort, literally everybody involved wins, you can't please everyone . . . especially those that don't want to be.
Their problem is jealousy. He made the yard the best in the neighborhood😉. That an maybe a little guilt (doubtful) for not helping a neighbor who needed it
One thing I’ve noticed as I’ve started my lawn care operation is that edging is a very overlooked part of lawn maintenance by both homeowners and professionals in my area. It’s crazy because I personally think a sharp edge is the most eye catching part of a yard. At least it’s what I notice. So I leave all my clients with sharp edges and good looking yards. I’m hoping that attracts more business and makes me stand out amongst my competitors
Found your video by accident and am super impressed! Can't find words to tell you how much your volunteer work affected me. You are proof that everyone can do something to help others. Thank you very much.
It's sad that people don't know what charity is. Simplest definition is giving something from yourself to help others. It can be monetary, a gift, your time, your labor etc. I'm glad you keep doing this, try not to let the haters get you down.
"I've never had a whole lot of money to give. I've never been able to help someone out financially... *but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for poorly manicured lawns.* "
You actually inspired me to do one today I just started my business first year. It hasn't been easy and I forgot why I got into it I lost my way. But yes I saw a yard today and ask if I could and honestly was the best part of my day today. Thank you

I know from experience that when you are disabled it is very difficult to do even everyday tiny chores by yourself and a lawn is a major job that requires energy and strength that one no longer possesses. Help with such a physical job would be a God's send for any disabled person. I commend you on you helping people - it really matters!
Absolutely agree, I was working on a 1926 craftsman and make it human habitable. Then I got necrotizing fasciitis and fell and broke my back in 4 places. In bed for a year, still in a wheelchair. No one did anything to the property I was working on so all the bamboo and vines came back, hard. Had to sell the house or rather am selling it
Really?! Why would people say negative things about what you’re doing! I have MS , heat sensitivity ( I can’t be out in the sun/ heat for to long bc then I can’t enjoy the things that make me happy or help me stay healthy) and fatigue, not mention I have very limited time. Seriously if someone knocked on my door and offered to mow my lawn have at! My military neighbor always maintains my front yard for me bc he knows about my disease and sometimes will come over and grab my Doberman and take her for walks or keep her for the day. What you’re doing is amazing.
You are so right. I heard just this week about an elderly, disabled lady. Two men in a truck came and said they would pressure wash her home for $200. They intimidated her until she said "yes". They moved all her stuff out of the garage and off the porch. They used dishwashing liquid from the Dollar Tree and did half the house and then stopped. They told her she owed them $1,800 for an unfinished job with her stuff still in the yard. They threatened her and intimidated her so she told them all she had was $500 and they made her give them that and left. She wasn't able to take care of herself and was taken advantage of. Now they know the lay of her yard and house, what she has in her garage, etc. She's scared to death and what could the police do? She agreed to let them pressure wash the house and she gave them the money. She's afraid the police can do nothing as she did finally agree to let them pressure wash the house and they did do some work. But now we get to see a young man who is willing, with a good attitude, to help others. May we not forget men like this. As a Christian, I've seen many men (and women) who do things like this out of the goodness of their heart in our church and it's so refreshing to see it. So when we hear about the bad people, we need to remind ourselves there are still good people who do good things all day and every day.
I tried to play devil’s advocate and tried to figure out why people gave flak about uploading and “making money” from this. Two things I can think of. First is in a perfect world “silent service” is all we should ever strive for. PERFECT WORLD. We don’t live in that world. Any money received is food on a table and roof over the head of this man and his family. Second reason is “gain from suffering.” This is a home that someone was suffering and couldn’t do the job themselves. Are too, too many stories in our world of people receiving kindness only to be embarrassed by the production of videos highlighting their suffering. The owner wasn’’t in the video and full disclosure was given. He informed the owner it would be a video of transforming their yard. It wasn’t done without the owner’s knowledge and that matters.
Random acts of kindness feels so good to do. The recipient of that act usually appreciates it immensely. Again I have to say you’re a good soul for doing that.
Running a business costs money! Maintaining the equipment is key. You are giving people such a gift. I wish my landscaper took the time to do things as well as you do for these folks. I end up sweeping my porch off after he leaves because his guys go crazy with the blower and blow crap on my porch and furniture! UGH! SUBSCRIBE it is well worth it to watch someone help others in need. If I had a neighbor who was having a hard time I would pay for my guy to cut their lawn. I often wonder why neighbors do not pitch in but complain about a property. Great job as always! You are a blessing!

@@shelter9236 its not their job to assist their neighbor, and you're assuming they're friends or somethin with their neighbor. not everyone is. who would want to assist someone they probably don't know. you can have an issue with something and not deal with it yourself because it is not your job to deal with it. it isn't your responsibility. and what equiptment do you think these people have? most people only own a simple lawnmower, with maybe a weed wacker, and this is a big job for the average person. One of my neighbors mows the majority of my front yard, while the other neighbor gets the part between the driveway and his yard. However, the back is left to me-a little bit of flat and then a hill. So far, I’ve managed to mow a path to the gates on either side (I have to go out my back door, I can’t manage the 15 steps at the front), and along most of the hill retaining wall. I try to do the weed eating at the front. You’d think the guys at my church would remember after 4 years that I can’t cut the hill, but I have to ask for help every year.

hope it went well for you! and sorry for your loss. learning to make up for it in ways like this can really help you to appreciate who you lost even more, and it can be catharsis to know that you can do the same and be okay again in spite of losing them. it's amazingly therapeutic, i hope it's helping you.
You look like a hard-ass biker dude. But underneath it all you’re nothing but a soft teddy bear with a good heart‼️ I admire you. Thank you for what you do. I hope you’re getting rich off your videos
I'm right with you! I subscribe comment and like for that reason exactly! If that's all I can do to help support him in his life and career I'm gonna do it 😁

What you do is amazing! People are so into their own selves in this world, that it’s heartwarming to see someone who does such incredible work just to be kind and helpful. What a world this would be if there were more people like YOU! You’re appreciated! The advice and tips you share with others, whether it be the homeowner or others interested in the business is invaluable in and of itself.
What a wonderful place our world would be if everyone did something to help others. You're an inspiration to your viewers and I hope that your example is like lighting a candle of kindness that will be shared all over.
I have wanted to do this since I came back from the military and I just don’t have time with a new baby and working at Honda but this really makes me happy
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone commenting about what a nice guy he is for doing this……..actually all went out and did one act of kindness every week….everyone says they don’t have time or money…. But there is always time and not every act of kindness takes money!
Came across this channel yesterday and I’ve already spent like 3-4 hours of watching. I love the work you do man. It’s an amazing concept and it’s motivating me to want to do the same. People like you are a blessing to this world. God bless. Keep doing what you’re doing!
I want to say again I love watching your videos! I know how it is to see hard times! I lost my husband in 2019 at the beginning of the pandemic! I am disabled and let me tell you two days after his funeral a storm blew all not one but all my trees down and got our sheds and the shingles. I can’t even shop so I definitely can’t mow! It’s been impossible to deal with but honestly my husband being gone took president over everything! No one offered to help but that’s okay because like you said you can’t help everybody! Watching your videos helps me find peace in humanity! I hope you find the wealth you deserve spiritual and money wise you our a good man and dad and husband! I saw the video about your wife expecting! Have you guys had the baby or do you know if it’s a boy or girl? I’ve been watching hoping to see! God bless you and your family!
Not only are you helping the people that are actually living or owning the property, but you’re helping people like me that experience anxiety and enjoy watching these videos as a stress reliever! Thank you for what you do! You help in more ways than you know!
My oldest son will do this for the senior citizens around duncan. He works at goodyear now and he doesn't have time to continue. I would like to say your parents should be very proud of they good man you turned out to be. May God bless you and keep you as busy as you need to be
Is there a Hire A Kid program in your town? When I was a teenager in middle school I was in a youth choir at FPC Austin and we had 53 members who toured the UK for 3 weeks in the summers. We had multiple shows like Madrigal Dinners, or Joseph and the Technicolor Coat, etc.. I cleaned houses, babysat and I cleaned up the yards from the people who hired me. Somewhere along the way I learned how to sing a decent tune but it was good memories of the time. I just thought I'd say something in case someone else wants to start it. Happy Memorial Day.
I think taking time to help people in your community is amazing. Regardless if you’re creating content for us in the mean time, you’re still making a positive difference.
I’m getting old now. If there’s 1 thing I learned in life it’s: Eliminate the negative people in your life! It will make days so much more pleasant. You’re a good dude! Keep the Faith.
People who give you verbal abuse are not just a quarter shy of a dollar but you show them how lazy, useless and ignorant they are. What you do makes youre heart happy and ours too. Thank you.
No idea how I came to this channel but it’s honestly awesome seeing him working super hard to put a smile on people’s faces and helping out with their yard keep doing this amazing stuff man good job!!
When I do heavy edging or end up with a dirt pile, I take it and put it up against the foundation and smooth it out as much as possible. Homes need the water to run away from the building in rains and never have enough earth to have a good slope. Recycling at its best!
You are a Blessing to the people your helping, to humanity as a whole! Your even cheerful, not a grump. I applaud you for your heart, for giving, for making someone's day! I only wish there was someone in my area that would show up and help me out. I have bad lawns, over weeded areas, shrubs that grew higher than I could continue cutting back while my husband was sick and I was caring for him & making hospital visits for chemo treatments. I paid twice to have them trimmed but I just can't keep paying for helper. I used to take care of it all myself but then he passed and I was with disabilities and in a deep depression grieving. Everything continued to grow faster than I could keep up with it. It's very easy for me to imagine what this person could be facing in their life for their property to be so overgrown and neglected. There aren't too many like you out there anymore. Your just WONDERFUL!!! AN EARTH ANGEL!
Ma'am sorry hear about your husband. I want to say that if you had a caring neighbor you wouldn't struggle with the upkeep of your lawn. Meaning some don't care about property value. 😔 😯 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Probably the same people that think the offering plate at church is a racket...
Exactly, and it is time he's not spending on his business.

Being a disabled senior I have to say "God Bless you". My yard is a constant concern so I know just how fantastic what you do really is.
I cut the lawn for free all the time: I am not charging anyone, and no one is going to charge me. Except for a little electricity, which is almost free.
Hi San. Being a disabled woman, everything is a concern 😆

I have a suggestion Kevin, hear me out and tweak it, some of these kids in high schools are NOT college material, so open a apprenticeship so they have a trade to support themselves.
You are a great teacher!
@Ranger people just go to college to get brainwashed
It's not even a matter of being college material, by large college is a scam. I wish I had been told about apprenticeships. Instead I went in the military for 5 years to help pay for college, came out broken, tried college, couldn't do it. Now I'm broken and in debt with no career. I will now tell anyone who will listen to look into apprenticeships before college.
@@cdmichaelb my parents tried to get me to go to college but I never did. I later found out you can make 15.00 with out a degree or 20 with a degree in which 10 of it goes to pay the college debt. I even saw one posting for a marine biologist once which required years of experience and a bachelors degree and you’d get 8.00 per hour to start
Many others figured that out early on and defaulted on the loans intentionally to the point they made it a law you can not get out of your college debt in anyway except pay off.

This is what we should do to help others that can't do for themselves. Giving your service for free is a blessing and a reward in itself.
That an maybe a little guilt (doubtful) for not helping a neighbor who needed it
Big thumbs up from me . I fix people's kitchens or sheds basically if anything in wood needs fixing I fix it for free. It's very rewarding.

It's great how you cut people's lawns for charity I'll give you two thumbs up and keep up good work on what you love doing. And God bless
Keep doing what you do! It’s time people quit worrying about what people think and just do what is RIGHT.
I 100% agree
I'm the Queen of the edgers so step aside cause I'm coming through.
@@updownstate my apologies your highnesses 😂
What's the best edger to buy??? I've been wanting to buy one that's easy to use.

Found your video by accident and am super impressed! Can't find words to tell you how much your volunteer work affected me. You are proof that everyone can do something to help others. Thank you very much.
I'm 62 years old by watching you edge property. You taught me how to edge my lawn. So thank you so much
It's sad that people don't know what charity is. Simplest definition is giving something from yourself to help others. It can be monetary, a gift, your time, your labor etc. I'm glad you keep doing this, try not to let the haters get you down.
its super fulfilling to help someone out then tell everyone about how great you are for helping them out.

You actually inspired me to do one today I just started my business first year. It hasn't been easy and I forgot why I got into it I lost my way. But yes I saw a yard today and ask if I could and honestly was the best part of my day today. Thank you

I love watching the magic you perform for people who have been unable to keep up. We don't know their story and it does not matter. Here is a wonderful man who does this as a gift and challenge. God Bless you, sir. Keep your kind heart, you touch so many, spreading happiness.
I was thinking the same thing! Bunch of trolls!
I have RA, extreme heat knocks the energy out of me too. Feel better. ❤
I had no idea this kind of thing was on...never have looked at Utube much...I love this stuff, it's very interesting to learn about things I've never known about. I'm 71 yrs old, have been a singer, guitar player, actress, volunteer for taking care of people, church duties, civic duties, seamstress, restaurant worker from dish washer to Manager, had a family, my point is I will never be a caretaker of lawns but it's quite interesting to see how it's done and why someone would want to do this for a living. I have really enjoyed it tonight, thank you so much for your voiceovers to explain what you do and why. Keep up the good work. God bless you for why you do it.
This is a wonderful person who needs to be cheered on for his work, communities need him and his good attitude, it helps are seniors and youth to see this, thank you so much 😊
I can only imagine how thrilled the neighbors were to have you clean up this lawn.
And I look at this if the neighbors had an issue with this lawn where were they with their equipment wanting to assist the person they know.
Kevin is a professional with industrial tools. you have no right to judge those people for not helping this person with their lawn. it is not their job, and they were allowed to complain if they did
@@Uly.ss3s I said IF the neighbors had an issue with the yard, please read what I said and I don't seem to be the one judging here. Kevin is a professional and chooses to do this out of the goodness of his heart, not because he has the equipment. That was where I was going with my statement. And if the yard is left to sit, then yes, it will be a big job when initially it wasn't.
@@Uly.ss3s My God, on and on and on and on. Just look within for your real problem. It's not this one's job, this one should, this one shouldn't, not that one's job. Stop talking,
One of my neighbors mows the majority of my front yard, while the other neighbor gets the part between the driveway and his yard.
I have been watching your channel for awhile. What you do is great. So many people don't understand the pure joy you feel when you help others. Kept up the great work.❤❤
i have now found myself watching the boring channel when you just cut and thats nice but now im watching your edited ones for this channel to see what words of motivation/wisdom you have for the day. I helped my older neighbors (70's) cut up their yard and put down 11 palletts of zoysia. no payment just good old fashioned hard work and Gatorade. took me 2 days to do it all but well worth the stories he told and the happiness after it was done.
And something you never forget 😉
Retired trucker here, trust me, nothing beats a good story! Possibly could be a lie, it's still a story, and what better way to pass the time, hard work, a good story between friends, FACE TO FACE!
Just found your channel I never thought in a million years I’d enjoy watching someone clean up a lawn! Thankyou for your hard work & keep being you ! 👏

I like that you talk to us in the video, instead of playing the damn music..
That makes me feel closer to you and what you do for a living..
No music, no talking, just mow.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone commenting about what a nice guy he is for doing this……..actually all went out and did one act of kindness every week….everyone says they don’t have time or money…. But there is always time and not every act of kindness takes money!

How refreshing to see something on UA-cam that actually makes one feel good about humanity!
