You are right about everything, except the 15 feet, which meaning passes by me. Pelé's shot was from a little less than 21 meters. The curved chalk-line has the penaltyspot in center and is 9,15 meters from its chalk-spot to keep opponent players at that distance during a penaltyshot. So: 9 + 11 is 20 meters, and Pelé shot just outside that curved line. The former coach of the danish national team Sepp Piontek, who did the penalty against Pelé earlier in the match, remembers '25 meters', but no, it was a great goal from a distance of little less than 21 meters. He also remembers Pelé as the sweetest guy and a gentleman both inside and outside the field, even to total strangers. There Piontek is absolutely right to my best knowledge.
