i just got mine today, and ive been playing for like 2 hours ish. and I think its not as bad as you reviewed it. i get it, you have used a ton of other gamepads. but for context, this is my first "pro-ish" controller. and I think its pretty good. i know its probably not the best bang for you buck, but in my country (where this brand originated) this is one of the best controller available on the market here. although for the compatibility issue, I agree with you fully. there's no need to include tesla or use "multi platform" branding. but doest really affected me (personally) since I mainly play on the PC platform. Great review tho!!!
I'm fairly certain this model is being sold as the Cosmic Byte Stellaris in India. Fantech and Cosmic Byte seem to have access to the same pipeline and are selling the same product, with slightly different internals. They're the same design and have most of the same features. Some differences I noticed: - Different accessory button suite on the front - Different colour options (black and transparent) - 1000 mah battery instead of 600 mah - No interchangeable D-pad - Turbo button - Not sure if Switch compatibility is present (it's not mentioned) but it does have a gyroscope - The multi-platform marketing says 'Steam Deck compatibility' instead of 'Tesla compatibility' (similarly completely useless as it's just a bluetooth connection) Everything else is the exact same. Interesting to see what is essentially the same controller being sold with slight differences for different markets.
I recently got the game sir t4k and I absolutely LOVE IT and really cool you can press a couple buttons on the PC and it can recognize it as a Xbox 360, PS4, switch or generic controller. Also love the very tactile action buttons, dpad and bumpers. I'm IN LOVE
I have seen a very similar controller to this in terms of buttons, features, and shape on aliexpress. It was the iine starfield controller. Even the 2.4Ghz adapter looked the same. I think it was about $25 on sale. So they probably bought it from some Chinese OEM added a few accessories and called it a day.
@lordrushiacanyoupleasesayb3263 if I'm not mistaken it is the IINE Star-Field Controller. IINE has a few other models that use the same internals with other designs.
A very good review video! Here in Indonesia this controller is selling pretty well, sold out in any e-commerce. Can you review the fantech wgp14 v2 nova pro next video?
Awesome as always! When will you review aim controller new Hall effect controllers?? just released like 2 weeks ago, but cant wait to see it getting reviews :)
Well that looks like garbage. What wasn't garbage was your recommendation for the Flydigi Vader 3 Pro! Just got mine in yesterday and it's been nice to use. Downright pleasurable to wrap my meat mittens around. Thanks for that review.
Glad i didn't randomly stumble across this controller and think (i need this) 😂 the picture looked better, i don't think it's worth 40+ maybe 30 max, great review dude ✌️
Could have bought it just for the color and the way it looks 😍 Plug in the cord & put it on the shelf as an ornament! Who the hell cares about using it. Insanely handsome.
Before this review I was like "Woah Fantech has a new badass controller??" After this review I'm pretty much happy that I switched from Fantech to Gamesir. Now I just need to graduate from Fantech's mouse. Just couldn't find an alternative yet.
Hey Kev could you review the Fantech Nova pro WGP14V2 ? Its their ps4 version and if ya got the time I'd love an updated PS4 controller tier list ! Thanks for the good content as always
to be honest, this one's (there's even a pair of even cheaper "wired only" variants) like half the price of the genuine XBOX controller and like one sixth of the genuine XBOX Elite controller, especially with the 8-way "wheel" d-pad so... it's a fair price. And for the paint job, it's like "at least they tried" i played with worse controllers and they all stick drifted (F310 fared for almost a decade, while a cheaper "Nemesis GP400" only fares for about a month of two playing Rivals of Aether extensively) so this is my first Hall Effect controller. Wish for the best.
I receives mine already on firmware 1.47? Trying the update it is for firmware 1.42? Yes they definitely need a software controller, but fantech probably hasn't moved to that stage yet.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial just maybe general good ones to invest into, many biased reviews or just slander videos of the g503 (maybe a starter to see why bad?)
Less then 30 euro equivalent in my country, doesn't seem that bad for a buy and throw controller for 6 months to a year, hell my 8bitdo pro 2 only lasted 6 months before the RB caved in.
@@Grandmaster-Kush I bought it a week ago and it's actually quite high quality. The feel of the material is not cheap. And the performance is great so far
I've always wondered why can't they make controllers that work on both PS and Xbox? Reeks of something Sony would have had their hands all over just to make it more difficult for consumers. Cause pretty much everything they do is to boost their bottom line and foothold on the industry over thinking about consumers. I have never understood the tribalism mentality. Whats that saying 'a rising tide lifts all boats'.
@@dav1dgear Yeah nah, idc for Wireless but for example I love my Razer Chroma V2 controller but say I was to pick up a PS5, it won't work on there and for some reason (I assume simply because it's wireless) it almost cost double for the PS version of this controller, after I already spent like $220 AUD on this one. I think if they connect via USB they should work across every console

Other reviewers say it’s quite alright with little cons here and there
And again it’s jxt 45$
I will be getting this
The controller I never knew I never needed.

Always wanted to see you reviewing the unpopular brand like this. There are so many Fantech products selling in the SEA.
Much welcome kicking base on that intro man.

Because it is an indonesian brand. Depending on their overseas distributors, might be harder to get.
Afaik the pattern isn't even applied by hydrodipping. It's just some sort of paper/sticker heat pressed onto the plastic body
The Intro 🤲🙌👑🤣
